crossed posts Ceebee-did not mean to go on about the fact that you are working for a living while I am being a slummy mummy watching daytime TV!

majormoo · 22/04/2008 12:51

Hi Littlemissdaisy -a similar thing happened to me a couple of months ago-BFP then a BFN/bleeding a week later. Very confusing when one minute you are pregnant and the next you are not. Welcome anyway and I hope you find us supportive on here.

Soosy really hope that lining is thickening.

Oh Angel fingers crossed. And for you too Bellie

CE hope you feel OK today.

Willmouse hope the kitten is behaving.

Hello everyone else

Lovely sunny day here today so met a friend in the park with DS. When it is dark/cold/raining etc I often think I would love to be back in the world of work reading my emails, drinking coffee, eating lunch, going to the toilet alone-oh the list goes on! However, today a bit of 'The Wright Stuff' and 'Phil and Fern' this morning, following by lovely sunny walk and park, reminds me I am lucky to be able to stay at home for a while!

littlemissdaisy · 22/04/2008 12:49

Thanks you guys, how do I add myself to the list??

ceebee74 · 22/04/2008 12:48

Hi all

Littlemissdaisy - welcome to our thread. Sorry about your AF etc but I am sure you may get some answers at the clinic. Everyone is so friendly on here so I hope you stick around

HC - is the thought of forking out for WW again not enough to get you reaching for the chocolate?

Willmouse - George is a lovely name for the kitten - hope the spray/catnip works!

Angel - I too have to have matching handbags and shoes. I swop the contents round every night depending on what I am wearing the next day Stay away from the test aswell!

FGS, am sat at work next to a radiator that is switched on - have got the window open but I am so hot! Our heating is controlled centrally aswell and they are refusing to switch it off -

Had to pack a sobbing DS off to nursery today - when I was getting dressed, he was trying to give me my pyjamas instead and pulling my top saying 'off off'. He clearly didn't want to go to nursery and obviously associates mummy in her pj's as 'staying at home' days

Anyway, should go and do some work

Bellie · 22/04/2008 12:39

Hi littlemissdaisy - so sorry to hear your news . Hopefully the clinic will be able to help.

Hope we can help too - it is a very supportive thread.

Add yourself to the list and join in!

HumphreysCorner · 22/04/2008 12:05

Oh hi littlemissdaisy. That is sad news to get a BFP swiftly followed by AF. Have heard that there are a few things that the Fertility Clinics can do to help. As willmouse said, you can talk about anything on here and like the song Hotel California 'you can never leave'.

Hi Littlemissdaisy

Hope you're okay - as Willmouse (or Saint Willmouse as we call her) says, you are very welcome here and you will get lots of support (and baby dust!)

MrsPuddleduck · 22/04/2008 11:52

Hi Littlemissdaisy.

Sorry to hear about AF turning up. I hope you get some positive news from the fertility clinic.

You are most welcome in our thread! You will get lots of support here, nothing is ever tmi and the conversation is not limited to ttc! We are all very friendly and as you have probably noticed if you do get a BFP you are not allowed to leave! (which makes us sound like a bunch of stalkers LOL!!).

Feel free to add yourself to the list!

littlemissdaisy · 22/04/2008 11:34

Hi, I am going to come and join you guys, I got a BFP on Saturday followed by spotting and a massive bleed yesterday.I am now CD1 On third cycle of clomid, for me getting pregnant isn't the problem, now the clomid has got me ovulating again,it seems to be staying preganant,I have been preganat three times now since 2006 each ending in MC by 8 weeks, it was very early this time. I am now waiting for the fertility clinic to ring me to discuss what happens next.

MrsPuddleduck · 22/04/2008 11:23

Hi all.

I have missed a couple of days and amd getting really confused so you will all have to forgive me.

Is Carolyn and ChocolateEclair the same person (I am not great with names and faces so this is really confusing me!). What is Angus Cactus for????

H2mJ - glad you are better.

Soosy - hope the uterine lining shows up! Will you just wait again and see what happens next month?

Angel -resist the testing ('tis very expensive if nothing else!).

Hi to everyone else

Kitten has been named George by Ds1 (lightening would have been more appropriate!). He is behaving himself so far but I can't help but think it is only a matter of time. I am off to get some spray to discourage him from scratching my sofa and some catnip to encourage him to scratch his post

Angel2008 · 22/04/2008 10:53

LOL HC - I did have a spare test in my bag but went for brown shoes today ... hence swapped all my work stuff into brown bag (I know I'm anal) and left test at home in my other bag. Still no AF though.

I think you should tell DH he has had enough "practice" - honestly, men! I'm still not properly speaking to my P. I'm leaving off the D for the time being

Well done with the weight loss by the way!

HumphreysCorner · 22/04/2008 10:27

Doh-stoopid head. Should be aren't kittens fun. Of course they are.

Oh, {{hugs}} obviously required today especially for CE having AF visiting unexpectedly. {{hugs}} Also to soosy desperately in need of some uterine thickening. Hope results are better on Weds. {{hugs}}

willmouse-are kittens fun? Luckily I had no children when I got the boy as he took up all of my time and DH's who didn't even want him. Have fun!

Heartmum-12 weeks is such a milestone. Brill news and good luck with your scan.

ceebee-lol at DH forgetting to put a nappy on DS.

juanitad-how lovely having a new kitchen. Ours is only 8 years old but I still like dreaming when I walk round B&Q and Wickes.

Angel-hope you haven't got a test in your handbag. Having said that, if I ever get to the stage of testing I will be weeing on sticks a week before AF due as I am a terrible child that can't wait.

Don't know when we will actually get round to TTC as DH keeps saying he wants some practise in before we start and as I was cross with him then AF is due in a week so doesn't give many days left.

Lost another 1.5 lb at WW so now 5 lb under goal so if I lose any more I will have to pay again. I'm not even trying to lose weight. If I lose any more I will have to stuff my face before getting weighed next Monday to keep my leader friend happy. I even had some wine at the weekend, first time in over 2 weeks. Today I can feel my monthly migraine starting so no wine for me tonight.

Right, am waffling so will wave to everyone I have missed

Hello everyone, Congrats HM2j making it to 12 weeks, good luck on Thurs.

LOL about the kitten! I want to see too.

Bellie, keeping my fingers crossed for implantation bleed.

Sorry to hear about BFN CE.

Hello to everyone else including angel - thanks for the baby dust.

Had 2nd scan today, My uterine lining is a bit too thin, so if it doesn't fatten up significantly by wednesday we are going to call the whole thing off. Which is not what I want to do as I have got myself all - well you know! So I need some uterine lining fattening up dust please ladies! I have acupuncture tomorrow and I have been listening to my fertility hypnotherapy cd - which I hope helps. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Evening everyone.

HM2J ? glad everything seems to be ok now and I hope you are sat with your feet up ? you did the right thing getting it checked out.

CE ? so sorry that AF showed up . You need a lovely big glass of wine and some chocs and then get back on that TTC rollercoaster.

Bellie/Angel ? keeping everything crossed for you ? sending you lots of baby vibes!

Willmouse ? lol at your kitten ? we need a photo of the adorable bundle ? I bet DS1 is over the moon. Does he have a name (the kitten ? not your DS )

Majormoo ? lol at your parents asking if it was planned ? that was exactly what my boss said when I told her ? like it is any of their business and why is that even important???

Yesterday was fab at the zoo ? wandered round for over 6 hours so you can imagine how shattered I was by the end! Was pretty cold aswell but the animals made up for it ? DS?s favourite part though was the monorail . Everytime it went overhead, he got very very excited so we had to go on it in the end.

Also, just to make you smile ? funny story about today. Me, DH and DS went shopping to the local retail park this morning. After about an hour, DH noticed that DS?s pants were wet all the way down one leg ? he had only been dressed for a couple of hours so it seemed strange that his nappy had leaked. Anyway, I said to DH his nappy must not be on properly to have leaked so much so DH had a look.................only to find that DS didn?t have a nappy on at all! DH had completely forgotten to put a nappy on when he had got him dressed ? I thought it was hilarious but it could have been so much worse ? it doesn?t bear thinking about what it would have been like if he had had a poo

Carolyn, really sorry that AF arrived, but well done for not testing too early - now you just have to face this disappointment once, whereas if you had already tested by now you would have had the disappointment of a BFN and then the second disappointment of AF arriving. In the months before I got pg, when I got BFNs, I still held out hope that maybe AF wouldn't arrive and that the BFNs would turn to BFPs, so when that didn't happen I was mightily pissed off. I know it will be your turn soon, but I also know how frustrating it is waiting!! Really hope you are feeling ok. Babydust for you for next cycle....... ***

Angel and Bellie, fingers crossed for both of you now!

By the way, for those asking, the kitchen is going to be fairly simple. Wooden doors, quite modern looking, but not like something you would see in a trendy loft conversion (I've never been anything close to trendy in my life!) The wood is a nice warm colour, with a pinky tinge to it.....that doesn't sound as nice as it looks. Anyway, it will be so nice to have nice new things, our current kitchen is falling apart at the seams, and is covered in cat hair! Yuk! Talking of cats, pictures of the kitten would be good as soon as you get the chance wilmouse!!

ChocolateEclair · 21/04/2008 19:54

thanks ladies. It's good to be able to let some steam off on here as noone in RL knows we are ttc. I'm going to start taking the Agnus Castus tomorrow.

Majormoo - are you a little excited yet? Your parents sound quite surprised but obviously chuffed to bits for you!

Bellie/Angel - my money is on at least one of you two! I have everything crossed for you both

Juanitad - kitchen sounds great! It will be lovely to have a spangly new kitchen and a spangly new baby too! What is it going to be like? (the kitchen not the baby!)

H2MJ - glad you are feeling better, and good luck for your scan. (very excited)

majormoo · 21/04/2008 19:38

oh no Chocolate Eclair. How disappointing. Chocolate and wine are in order.

Angel you never know, there is still a chance of a BFP. Thanks for the offer of copies of missed tv shows. We managed to watch it in Iplayer last night so have caught up now!

HM2J glad all seems well. Not long til your scan how exciting.

Willmouse the kitten sounds challenging.

Hello everyone else.

I feel soooooooo tired it is awful. Had to tell my parents when we stayed for a few days. I had no choice really as we usually drink lots of wine there and my mum was giving us smoked salmon for a starter. They think we are mad to want a third. My mum said 'was it planned?' Despite thinking we are crazy they are really excited, which is exactly why I did not want to tell them when I am not feeling very confident myself.
