I'm glad you are all feeling a little less tired Myjob, well done on the lie in! At least your next holiday is AFTER my 20 week scan, which is 12th June, lol! Ohhh and another gardener, lol! I thought it was just me. My tomato plants are ready to go out, as well as the peppers and my courgette & cucumber need potting on. I really should get a move on with the salda & herbs though.

It is great that we are due so close together now, lol! I will be able to look to you to remind me of what I have coming ahead of me! It's exciting that you can fel baby moving, not much longer for me now!

Angel, what kind of tests have you got from ebay? I had some dip stick ones, where very good and gave me no nasty evap lines.

Hi all

Wow - Myjob - look at your little beanie!! At what stage can you find out the sex - or will you keep it a surprise? I've always thought I'd like the surprise but it does make shopping difficult I guess!

Ceebee, happy belated birthday and thanks for the tests - they arrived today! (I like the private & confidential bit ). It really was very sweet of you so thanks again.

Heartmum2jamie - yay for you! It must be so exciting for your family to have another little one on the way (and ignore the 'girl' comment - I am sure they just weren't thinking properly in the excitement of the moment).

CE - sorry about AF . But I have a good feeling for both of us this month. It's all about relaxing, enjoying life, eating well (and using the ov sticks and sticking your bum on a cushion for 20 mins afterwards - LOL!).

BB and Willmouse - hope the 2ww goes quickly, but I guess keep at it 'just in case'.

My pregnancy tests from eBay arrived today too. Anyone used them before? They look complicated, I assume they work okay??

Hi to everyone I might have missed .

xxx

Heartmum2Jamie · 28/04/2008 11:37

Welcome back MJIM! I am pleased you had a good time. Yay for 17 weeks and feeling baby wriggle more. Ceebee & I had already discussed how you would try and convince me over to October, lol! I am very happy in November as I feel I know the girls well, but I lurk in October to see what I have coming up!

Ceebee, Happy belated birthday!

BB & Willmouse, I hope that the dreaded 2ww passes quickly and that this is the last one for you both.

Bellie, sunburn??? How did you manage that?!

HC, I hope you feel better soon, especially for the end of the week!

Sorry about anyone else I missed, I don't get on at the weekends, so it's hard to catch up.

We had a good weekend. We finally told the families about the baby! Everyone is super excited, which is nice. My Mum said she knew as soon as she saw me, my Grandparents did too, plus they were expecting the announcement for at least a year, lol! The inlaws are pleased, but surprised as they were so sure we were done. The only thing that bugged me was that everyone said they hoped it was a girl . I guess it is something I will have to get used to, but I was hoping to avoid that kind of pressure from the family. I am guessing boy (not that I have a strong feeling either way), DH is guessing girl. DS1 says girl, DS2 says boy, lol!

MrsPuddleduck · 28/04/2008 09:30

Morning all.

I am officially in the 2ww - actually by my reckoning I have 12 days to go until AF is due (I have been dead acurate for the last two months ). My cycles are definitely getting longer and I think it is all to do with the ttc lark so I am not getting stressed about it (yet).

I don't ache as much today - which is good news plus I have got my fitness age down to 32 so I feel a lot better! DH said that it was the BD that had made him ache not the Wii fit . He is in denial....

Glad you all had a good weekend.

Hope the DC's are behaving (DS1 is physically and mentally challenging on a daily basis - my life is like a never ending endurance test)!!!!!

Quiet on here today!! I guess everyone is too busy enjoying their weekends!

Not much to report here. Went on a hen night last night, although it was quite a low-key one, no L-plates or strippers! I stayed out till about midnight, but have felt knackered all day today as a result! Being out late in Leeds city centre reminded me how I am certainly not in my prime any more - and quite glad if I'm honest. The outfits some girls had on just made me worry about them catching cold! I'm definitely getting old!

Anyway, hope everyone survives Monday!!

CE - hope you're feeling a bit better after the weekend and ready for the next cycle!

majormoo · 27/04/2008 17:34

Hi Everyone
Happy Birthday Ceebee. Hope you are enjoying a relaxing break.

HC they all have their moments of driving us to distraction, and like Bellie said, sometimes you just need a break.

MJIM glad you enjoyed your break but sorry about DH's grandma. Hope she recovers soon. Lovely feeling the baby move. Am sure once DS gets back into his normal routine things will settle down.

Willmouse I dread to think what age I would be given. 102!

Bellie hope the sunburn improves. I looked a bit pink as well by the end of yesterday.

We had a hectic day yesterday, DD had ballet, then a birthday party, then we drove up to London for a party one of our friends was throwing for another friend who is back visiting the UK from Sydney with her new baby. It was funny to see all the children running around and lovely to catch up with our friends (5 of us 'girls' shared a house at uni but hardly get a chance to all catch up now we've all got kids.) As someone pointed out 10 years ago we were at Glastonbury in the rain, rather than hanging around a bouncy castle!

Happy Birthday ceebee - hope you have a brill day and a great couple of days away!

HC - I think they all push us to the limits but it doesn't mean you can't look after them - just you are human and sometimes it is best to have a break {{hugs}} to you. You have also been poorly so don't beat yourself up too much.

Had a great day out yesterday - dh was playing rugby and dd was lovely all day. Only downside is that I decided it was summer and let my legs out for a bit - and now they are all burnt - the colour of my legs!!

HumphreysCorner · 27/04/2008 09:50

Happy Birthday ceebee! Have a brill day.

Today I am going to try and get through the day without wanting to murder DD1. DH has taken them both to the bottle bank. Being poorly she really did push me to limits I have not quite reached before. Perhaps I shouldn't have anymore as I can't look after the ones I have (well, DD1 anyway).

Love to all

Happy Bithday Ceebee.

Glad you had a good holiday Mjob - we were planning a short break fairly soon - but I have just got a three month job so may not be able to go.

CE - sorry about AF - hope you had a good night out (make the most of them!).

I reckon I ov'd at some point over the weekend so have been busy

Wii fit has arrived and having played on it twice for half an hour (once Friday and once yesterday) I am hobbling around the house like a pensioner I am obviously really unfit LOL. I have been given a wii fitness age of 37 I am only 33

On the up side DS1 loves the jogging game and it really tired him out! He didn't wake up until 8:35 this morning!

Hope you all have a good day. Weather is vile here. Visitors last week bought me a '200 Muffin receipe book' so I am off to put it to good use!

HumphreysCorner · 26/04/2008 15:19

Ooh, can't wait to get my Sayid fix. Have a fab time and ignore the weather.

Hi everyone, feeling rough as anything with a sore throat and aches and pains-gggrrrhhh!!!

It is my birthday tomorrow so we are going to the Lake District for a couple of days although the weather forecast is crap so no idea what we are going to do whilst we are there!!

CE - that AF came. Hope you and DP have a great night tonight, like you say, just forget about ttc for a little while and try to have a bit of fun. Let's hope the next cycle is your cycle...........really hope it is, you deserve it, you've always been so positive and offered such encouragement and good advice on this thread, so it's got to be your turn soon. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you all month!

HumphreysCorner · 25/04/2008 19:59

CE-so, so sorry that AF came. Don't be a stranger now. {{hugs}}

oh CE sorry-how disappointing. Hope you have a good night out.

Glad your scan is booked Bellie.

Soosy hope next month your lining is thick enough.

Feeling a bit better today thanks. Also very proud of DD as she won an art competition at school (well 3 kids from each year group won) to paint a local cafe. I will be buying 400 copies of the local paper as their picture should be in it!

ceebee74 · 25/04/2008 16:51

Oh CE - so very sorry. I thought it was looking positive for you aswell - have a large glass of wine to cheer yourself up.

ChocolateEclair · 25/04/2008 16:30

Hi ladies,

Hope you're all OK today.

Just a quick post to say that AF arrived this morning, 2 days late. We are both absolutely gutted. We really thought we had done it aswell. Going out for the evening to try and take our minds off ttc for a short while.

Will come back soon

CE xxx

HumphreysCorner · 25/04/2008 14:13

Bellie-glad you are feeling more positive today. I have always eaten breakfast, never missed a day (well apart from sicky bugs) since I was born. Slight snag with the having to BD bit though.

majormoo-hope you feel better today.

Waves to everyone else.

Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts. I had no idea that yesterday was going to hit me as hard as it did - blame PMT and the disappointment of yet another af.

Trying to look on the positive, I have managed to book my second scan to look at the uterus/ovaries so then I will have completed all the tests before I can go back and see the consultant. We also decided last night to try and get an earlier appointment with the consultant rather than wait until July.

HM2J - glad you scan went well

Welcome to chubbymummy - hope you are enjoying being here!

Majormoo - sorry you were feeling terrible all day - is it still ms? Have you been to the docs yet?

CE - any news your side? Have you stil resisited testing again?

HC - breakfast seems to be the latest way of getting a boy - think that you have to bd too though !

Willmouse hope the kitten is settling down.

Wave and big hi to everyone else!

majormoo · 24/04/2008 22:54

whoops -sorry for repetition!

majormoo · 24/04/2008 22:53

evening all
Thinking of you Bellie-what a horrible day
HM2J glad your scan went well
Welcome Chubbymummy
Angel good luck with next month then
HC you apparently need to have cereal for breakfast for a boy (when conceiving DD I was terrible at rushing to work and not having breakfast-just a coffee. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I started eating breakfast every day and now could not start the day without it. So when conceiving DS would have been having cereal for breakfast-probably just random chance though.

Enjoy maternity shopping Juanitad. Can't remember where you live but Topshop at Oxford Circus has a maternity shop.

Yes the Apprentice was not quite up to scratch. Most of the women are vile. I do like Rafe (not sure how you spell it) though.

DDs school was shut today but luckily MIL came over to help entertain the kids. I felt terrible all day.

Hi to everyone else

Right off to bed
