Oh CE I was so very sorry to hear your news. Sending my love and big hugs. Mine was at 9 weeks, had D and C, as it was a missed mc. You are right to get back on track, but take some time to recover.

Hello BB, I miss you!

Hello to everyone else.

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2008 21:31

Ay up Mandy-temping is the most fun I have had in ages. Keeps me awake all night as I'm waiting for 7am to come round so I can take my temp again. At the weekend I don't set the alarm so have to make sure I'm awake which = no sleep. Even more exciting in the 2 week wait looking for evidence and all that. As for plotting it all on Fertility Friend, well that is a whole new ballgame! Good luck!

Oh CE, I'm blown away by you being so strong and brave. V happy you are feeling a little bit better right now but as Ceebee said, do go easy on yourself. xx
Alas the witch got me but bollocks to that now. I've got some other positive (work) things after some crappy years so can't complain. Yup, got another CB OPK from boots.com (20% discount! Still daylight robbery but I felt comfortable with it)with DHs blessing. He wants to be 'more enthusiastic' this month - help me, somebody. Feeling a bit stupid at the mo so not sure I can get my head around temping but you like it, right?

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2008 21:09

ChocEclair-I took 2 weeks (1 week sick and 1 weeks hols) off work so make sure you take enough time off. {{hugs}} Thinking about you. {{hugs}}

Oh CE, I'm so sorry. Stay off work till you feel a bit like yourself again. The kids can do without you for a while, I'm on end of year wind down now anyway and it won't be long before it's poster season, so yours can start early! You definitely need to look after yourself right now, school comes a distant second. I know it might not be any consolation right now, but you did get pregnant, so even if this one wasn't meant to be, it hopefully means that you and DP can conceive and that your little pip will be along another month. I know that doesn't make up for what you've lost but if there's any way to stay positive through this, maybe that thought might help.
We're all here for you whenever you need us....as others said, hopefully you won't need to have any medical intervention and nature will just take its course.

Lots of love

xx

ceebee74 · 16/06/2008 19:49

CE - I am amazed at how positive you sound in your last post considering what you are going through - make sure you give yourself plenty of time and don't rush things

xx

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 16:36

thanks mandy - you don't have to say anything! I have had a bath and am feeling a little better at the moment.

Sorry to hear the witch got you this time. Hopefully this month is yours. Do you think you will stick with doing the opk's? or might you try temping?

I just want things to be sorted now so we can get back to ttc. (See I am an optimist really)

Mandy73 · 16/06/2008 16:15

CE, I?m so very sorry for you both. I don?t know what to say.
xx

Bellie · 16/06/2008 15:16

Off swimming now - will be back on later xx

Bellie · 16/06/2008 14:59

of course you feel numb at the moment - that is perfectly normal ((((hugs)))). If you are not feeling like going to work then don't - it is not just about the physical side of what is happening to you.

They are right to wait a week, as it has been known that implantation can take longer than dates say to happen, so praying for you that this is the case xxx

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 14:56

thanks so much for your support ... I don't know what I'd do without you girls.

DP has gone to see my boss to tell him I will stay off tomorrow but go in wed, thur, fri as I will need to take monday off, probably longer. If things get bad I suppose I might need to stay off all week though.

I just feel numb at the moment...can't stop crying . Hoping that things happen naturally over the next few days as I dread the thought of going to theatre.

They said they have to wait a week by law as they don't want to accidentally do the wrong thing (they said if my dates are wrong, and I'm only 5 weeks pg, then they would see a HB in a week, but I know my dates are right so trying very hard not to cling to any hope).

I'm sorry to those of you who have been through this if it is bringing back bad memories

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2008 14:54

CE - how very very sad and I am so sorry for you .
Please do as the others have said and rest as much as you can. Please don't even think of going into work. Talk to us here - there are a couple of us that have had similar experiences, or find help on other threads for support.

You are in my thoughts xx

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2008 14:28

Yes, I went through this at 12 weeks so know what emotions ChocEclair is feeling right now.

CE - am so very very sorry I cannot even begin to imagine how you feel. Please rest as much as you can and go and find a MC support group here if you feel upto it.

Take care xx

MrsPuddleduck · 16/06/2008 14:24

I really don't know what to say.

I'm sure someone on here on this thread has gone through this before, hopefully they will be able to give you some advice.

I'm so sorry for you, next Monday seems an awful long time away for you. Hopefully nature will take its course so you don't have to have any medical intervention or anything.

At least you have your DH with you for support.

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2008 14:20

Oh ChocEclair-am so sorry. Please rest as much as you can (this is what I was told) until your next scan. As you have already started to bleed I suspect you will MC naturally but they will help you when you go back for your next scan. I really am so sad for you as it is the worst thing ever to happen and it has brought tears to my eyes. As willmouse said, you are not on your own and not at work are you? Here if you need to talk.

Yeah, thanks willmouse

DP took the day off work so he was with me the whole time.

TBH I pretty much knew what the sonographer was going to say before she said it. She was very nice though and said how sorry she was

MrsPuddleduck · 16/06/2008 14:11

CE - so so so sorry

Are you with someone?

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 13:57

Oh thanks bellie

Started off with period type pains, then started bleeding. Got an appointment at EPU this morning and had 2 scans. They couldn't find a heartbeat and baby was much smaller than it should have been for 7 weeks .

Have to go back next Monday for another scan, but they expect me to MC naturally before then, if not they will take me into theatre then.

Bellie · 16/06/2008 13:50

CE I'm here -

what has happened?

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 13:41

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone was around as could really do with a chat.

Have had had the worst weekend ever. Our little pip has died. Don't know what else to put but utterly devestated

CE xx

majormoo · 16/06/2008 13:23

Hope this is your month Mandy

HC am sure the wine will be fine!

I watched BB but wanted Mario to go.

Been away most of the weekend at my parents. We had a lovely weekend but the kids had two late nights so will be tetchy later in the week.

We've just had a huge hail storm!
