Hi all

Sorry have not been around for a while, had work issues (long story) and been off for a couple of days and then in work but feeling utterly depressed! Anyway, all better - for now!

So DP and I have found a solution to the tiredness problems in the evenings, we are now BD every morning (sorry TMI) - we have only missed 1 day!

Hope everyone else is well and had fab bank holiday weekends.

Quick question before I go (Ceebee are you there?) - have been using the ov sticks religously and had a faint line on Monday, Tuesday and some of Wednesday. This is meant to be a -ve but surely it means there is some hormone there, maybe I just have low levels of it?? Anyone know much about how they work?

just wanted to say a quick hello. Hope everyone is well. It has been hot hot hot this week. Took the kids in the garden this afternoon and it seemed to have turned into a (very small) jungle. The trees have gone wild.

Juanitad lovely that you heard the heartbeat.

HC I was nervous when we started as well but it will be worth it.

OH will have to go-supposed to be calm time but the kids and DH are being very hyper

Hi all

Had a good day at the racing yesterday even though it rained-boo hoo! Today DH had a rare day out so we went into town with DD2-it was lovely. Had tea at MIL's so had a rest.

CD 5 here so no action yet. Don't know if I can bring myself to do it-am so nervous about it. Tell me I am doing the right thing. Have never been so thin-am loving wearing thin clothes. Heeellllpppp!!!!!

ceebee-can't wait for Sayid Lost

Am too tired so must say goodnight. Will catch up tomorrow night methinks. Waves to everyone else.

Evening all ? apologies for not posting for ages (in fact, the thread had dropped off my ?threads I?m On? which is a sure sign I am lacking in effort!) My only excuse is extreme tiredness where even the actions involved in going to bed seems like too much trouble I have been reading it every day though ? just don?t seem to have the energy to do anything else.

MJIM ? wow about the baby moving so you can feel it ? am so as can?t wait to start feeling my little bump. DS just hiccupped all the way through ? rarely kicked, just hiccupped Only 9 days to go until scan day eh??

Juanitad ? great for you hearing the heartbeat ? what a fabulous moment for you. I assume DH wasn?t there to share it with you but it will be even better tomorrow actually seeing your baby

HC ? you are being very quiet on the BD front ? are you keeping all your action to yourself? Just watched Sunday?s Lost ? lots of Sawyer action (and Sayid for you of course) ? if that doesn?t get you in the mood, I don?t know what will

Good luck to Bellie and CE ? Bellie ? I managed to conceive with DH being away a lot so it is possible!

Hi to everyone else

Feeling sorry for myself tonight ? DH is in Switzerland until Friday, am completely knackered and still got to tidy up the lounge, do my ironing for tomorrow, load the dishwasher etc etc. I really miss what DH does when he is here! He has been at home for 3 weeks so it is a complete shock tonight However, on the bright side, he was here for what were probably the worst 3 weeks with ms etc so it could have been a lot worse!

Anyway, enough waffling about myself ? sitting her typing is not going to get my jobs done and me in bed any quicker is it??

afternoon ladies

Loving the sunshine!!!!

Had a fab weekend camping and had lovely BBQ outside the tent! Was great! Didn't make it to Alton towers as was raining sunday but went to Trafford Centre instead so still enjoyed it!

Juanitad - HOW EXCITING! You are definetly not making it up! LOL Good luck for the scan! You must tell us all about it!

Willmouse - very good idea about the child minder/nursery I reckon. Will save you money and earn you money doing something you enjoy! I suppose there are probably websites/books about it all to help you? (Hope AF is not on her way aswell)

Bellie - lots of BDing. Well done! Fingers crossed for no ov til DH gets back! Does your monitor pick up the surge 24 hours before you ov? If so, tomorrow would be ok wouldn't it!

MJIM - cool with the baby wiggling! Does your ds like it? Has he grasped the concept that there is a baby in there and it's going to be his brother/sister soon? Must be hard for a 2 yr old to understand fully!

Majormoo - glad you enjoyed the parade!

HC - enjoying your ttc yet??? he he he!

Today is CD12 so starting to get to the interesting part of the month! Hope the sunshine holds up as we are both in better moods when it's sunny! LOL!

Hi to everyone else!

Angel, BB hope you are both OK! Come back and keep us updated!

juanitad · 06/05/2008 16:53

V excited at the mo, just back from midwife appointment, where I heard the heartbeat for the first time!! So now I know I am not imagining this pregnancy!! Scan tomorrow, so hopefully everything will be ok. It is a beautiful day here - am home much earlier than usual, so am enjoying some time in the garden. long may the sunshine last!!

Hope everyone is well and had a lovey bank holiday weekend

Bellie · 06/05/2008 16:53
  • willmouse sounds like you will be busy . There are some threads on here about setting up nurseries which may be a starting point.
Hope dh has got the lawn cut now!

mjim - is the baby still squiggling?? Dd would kick like mad when dh around and he loved feeling the movements - it is a lovely time

well dh away and still no ov! He is back on Thurs am not Wed night now . If I ov tomorrow we should still be ok on Thurs morning? I don't seem to get cm so have to rely on fertility monitor! Hoping not positive until Thurs am! . Have bd on cd 8,10,12 and plan on 15 and 18 so should give us enough chances again this month!

hope you are all enjoying th sunshine!

MrsPuddleduck · 06/05/2008 13:41

Update by a v excited Willmouse.

Childminder really likes the idea of setting up a nursery together as she has always wanted to do it but not on her own!

Hope I'm not taking too much on

Still v excited though

MrsPuddleduck · 06/05/2008 10:19

Morning all.

It is a lovely day here too. DS2 has gone off to childminders in his doodles and sunhat - v cute! Shame DH didn't bother getting the patio furniture out of the shed and cutting the lawn [angy] nevermind he said he will do it tonight when he gets in from work ....watch this space

I have started spotting so it looks like AF's planned visit on Friday is iminent . I am starting to lose patience now........

Hope everyone has a good day and enjoys the sunshine!

I have got quite a lot of work to do and need to get my files up straight (which is something I have been meaning to do since Christmas). Send some motivational vibes my way please....!!

Sounds like everyone is having a great weekend

We have had a great time - bathroom shopping then friends over yesterday and now I am trying to persuade dh as it is a lovely day we should go out somewhere (with all the other thousands of people )

thought that I had got a pattern of my ov - have ov'd on cd12 for the last 3 months - today cd 12 no ov! argg. DH is off on business tomorrow, back Wed and then off again until Sat - how frustrating!!Will just have to get him when I see him

Sounds like the parade went well majormoo - had good weather!

hc - officially with us now then !!

willmouse - sounds like there is a gap in the market - why no go for it!

Glad you had a good time mjim - wow 18 weeks have passed in a flash!!

Waves to everyone else - off to try again with dh - i need to go out

Willmouse hope it works out.

Hope everyone is enjoying a good bank holiday. The children's parade was fab and today we have spent a lovely day at the beach so we are having a good time.

Will catch up properly soon-off to watch 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'

MrsPuddleduck · 04/05/2008 18:49

Hi all.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I am looking forward to next week the weather forecast is fantastic.

I am off one on over here. Bored with my job as I am I have decided to suggest to my Child minder (CM means something else on this thread LOL!) that we should set up in business together running either a playgroup (more likely) or nursery (v expensive). What are the chances of it all coming to nothing?.......DH thinks it is a fantastic idea....we live in a snobby area and the only private day nursery has a terrible reputation but people are forced to use it (or a childminder in my case).

Lastest irritation by DS1 is to call me "Miss Nicki" arrgghh!!!!

Hi everyone hope you are all off to have fab bank holiday weekends.

News on the house, majormoo was bang on and hopefully they will exchange in the next 2 weeks, they are quite keen as we do have other offers! So I feel much happier - just have to find a house!

MJIM Hope you have a good weekend and they sort out the pay .

HM2J glad the bloods were good .

Watching Dirty Sexy Money, with a glass of Red, tempted to
open DS's chocolate!

ChocolateEclair · 02/05/2008 20:56

hello everyone!

Hope you are all ok and have fab plans for the bank holiday weekend!

We have just booked a campsite in Leek for Saturday night and are going walking then to Alton Towers on Sunday!

majormoo · 02/05/2008 20:04

well I hope you are enjoying your weekend MJIM after all the anxiety over your DH's pay. How sad about the lady on your thread

Soosy guess you have made up your mind by now but Bellie's advice sounds sensible. Hope the people with the highest offer were also the safest bet!

HC hope the migraine has improved.

HM2J good news about the test results.

We have the Children's Parade tomorrow to mark the start of the Bighton Festival so big day for DD and her friends. DH is taking her in it (dressed in crazy glasses and a big red wig-glad it is not me) and I am going to watch. We usually go down to see it, but will be more fun this year now we know more children in the schools. Trouble is out of over 70 schools DDs is quite near the end so we will be hanging around for a while!

MJIM: No, in our case my hubby got NO commision last month, lol! His own darn fault that we are living off lower wages. Still, it is double what he would have picked up when things were at their worst, before he changed jobs, so we can make it work, it will just be a little tight. Typical that it happens in a month where we have ds1's 7th birthday and 2 bank holidays.

I am relieved this morning. I just had a letter from the clinical chemistry dept about the bloods I had done last week. I forgot about them, lol! They have a new screening for Down's here, they don't do the triple test at 16 weeks anymore. Instead they do bloods between 10+1 & supposedly 12+3 and check for Down's only. I was 13+1 but thankfully the letter says I am NOT in an increased risk group and I need no further screening for Down's. Phew! One less thing to worry about.
