Hi Soosy. Good luck on Friday. Im not sure what a follicle is but learning fast... is it like an egg 'blister' you need to grow before IVF attempt?

  1. What day do you count CD1 as? Willmouse, I wonder the same. I've started 'shedding' stuff & spotting 5 days before proper AF. I'm so sorry. If I lived near you I'd come babaysit.

1st day of OV sticks tomorrow but DH has to go away unexpectedly for work/house move during what may be OV. Should I save the sticks for next cycle? Whay would you do? Oh and we still haven't had The Talk.

MrsPuddleduck · 27/05/2008 09:46

Ok

  1. What day do you count CD1 as? If it is the day I started spotting then I am on CD22 if it is the day it started properly I am on CD18.
  1. I am bleeding again seems to be every other day .

Can't get to the doctors today. DH is at work, I have both boys and have to get there for 10:00 if I want to go to the walk in clinic.

What is wrong with me?????

MrsPuddleduck · 27/05/2008 09:37

Morning all.

I have had no furthe bleeding now since Sunday night so I am going to give the dr a miss (I don't really see the point in going).

Juanitiad - glad you had a nice time in Spain and that they all behaved themselves! The spanish in this house doesn't go futher than Dora the Explorer (and 'dos beers')!!!!

HC - hope you have a great time. Looks like the weather is getting better from Thursday so you've picked the right end of the week to go! LOL at going to the wine wholesalers before holiday - that's the sort of thing DH and I would do!

Mjob- glad to hear you are still well.

Soosy - good luck on Friday.

Mandy- you sound well blessed like me with your SIL - mine is just awful and it does't help that at the moment I am in partnership with her husband (DH's brother - we are both solicitors). That said I am about to give up (yipeeee) so we will be able to greatly reduce the amount of time we spend with them!

Majormoo - LOL at your daughter! How old is she? Southerners !!!!

CE - enjoy your week together with DH sharing your news. Give it a couple of weeks and you will realise what 'sore boobs' is really all about (for me excruciating) and you will feel permanently green at best!!!!!

Which reminds me that I am going to check that I have my CD right I am wondering whether I recorded them correctly due to a complete lack of interest. I will report back later!

ceebee74 · 27/05/2008 08:43

Soosy - sounds promising for you for Friday - will definitely be keeping everything crossed that the frosties succeed!

Juanitad - glad your trip went well although you must be exhausted now! Time to put your feet up now for the whole half-term

Majormoo - we obviously share the same good taste in men - Jose and Sawyer - mmmmmmmm

Willmouse - how's things this morning? Any more bleeding?

HC - have a super holiday and hope the sun comes out for you soon.

Hi to everyone else!

I bet we must be well over 50% pg women now on this thread - it has to be one of the luckiest threads considering it has only been going for 6 months

Right work beckons

Hi Juanita, Majormoo, Ceebee & Babydrip (+ anyone I may have missed, sorry!) Thanks for making newbies feel so welcome here.

CE, that's amazing news, congratulations!!! Bloody h*ll, this really is one lucky thread huh?

Willmouse, you OK? Your post reminded me of how much I hate my SIL and will do anything to avoid her. She just had her first baby. That's not why I hate her though. It's because she's a sanctimonious tight lying psycho. Sorry, rant over. She has a lovely brother though! I think she just can't stand other women near her brothers.

ChocolateEclair · 26/05/2008 21:04

Awww thanks myjob - you just made me cry! . (We're not really going to call it Leaf by the way!)

Going to bed shortly as I am soooo tired....not sure if it's the excitement of the day or a pg symptom!

Love to all xxx

Hi to Juanita and Majormoo!

Glad you are both OK! Spain sounds wonderful and the kids sound great! Majormoo - it must be really annoying when people say that in front of your DD

Willmouse - the party sounds horrible, and just emphasises what a prat your SIL is!

We are just off round to both our parents to tell them our news! (We realise it's far to early but we are close enough to prefer to tell them, even if it goes wrong)

FF estimates my due date at approx 5th February 2009!

I agree about this being the MOST successful ttc thread EVER!!!

juanitad · 26/05/2008 16:59

Right, have skimmed through the 6 pages I had missed over the last few days and blimey, it has been an eventful time! I was hoping May would be a good month for this thread! 2 BFPs is brill, just amazing! Congrats to Bellie and CE, you both must be over the moooooooooooooooon.

This is now officially the best thread ever....all those other TTC threaders need to get themselves on here, it brings such good luck. I'm sure that good luck will rub off on to the rest of the ladies very soon.

Welcome to knax and mandy, hope this thread helps, it has certainly helped lots of us!

Hi to everyone else, mjim, can't believe 20 weeks is here already! Can't believe I am 15 weeks either! It is starting to feel much more real, even though it isn't obvious yet - none of the kids have worked it out yet, but I guess it's only a matter of time.

Despite being v tired today, I actually had a really good time in Spain. The kids behaved themselves so well and really got into the spirit of it, trying out their Spanish at every opportunity, I felt so proud! Was gutted to miss the Eurovision though, I absolutely love it and always watch it! When I saw how the voting had gone though, I was not impressed! When are the UK ever going to win again? I really like our song too.

Anyway, I have loads of telly to catch up on - Apprentice and Desp H being the most important, so will head off now. Hope everyone is well and happy.

CE/Bellie - do you have due dates yet?

juanitad · 26/05/2008 16:39

I mean 40 kids.

Need more sleep

juanitad · 26/05/2008 16:39

hi all,

Am back from Spain - v v v v tired after 5 long days of being responsible for 40 days. 2 managed to lose their passport which made getting home interesting! But we made it. Not read the thread at all, apart from the very last message which got me v excited! Will now have a good long read through everything I've missed and post again later

majormoo · 26/05/2008 16:23

congratulations CE that is fantastic. Bellie and you in the same month!

Willmouse glad you are feeling a bit better. party sounds dreadful.

Soosy hope your scan has gone well.

Welcome babydrip. Fingers crossed you have joined a lucky thread.

Ceebee-we have been away for the bank hol so did not find out about Avram til yesterday. Feel sorry for him. Yes I miss Jose too. Know nothing about football really, but I knew I liked him!! When Virgin lost SkyOne I lost Sawyer and Jose in the same year!!!

HC here's hoping next month is your one.

MJIM hope you have sorted out a suitable game for your DS.

Knax hope the 2ww isn't driving you too crazy.

We have got back from a weekend away. A christening in Warrington, although we stayed with friends in Lemington Spa on the way up and back. That is the most far north the kids have ever been. During the weekend, I had a hard time explaining to DD that our friend from Middlesborough also comes from England and not another country!! I guess that is what you get when you are surrounded by London outspill accents all your short life.

We had a good time at our friend's house but 3 times, she mentioned in front of DD that we are expecting a baby. Luckily DD was preoccupied with other stuff but it was very annoying. I want to tell her myself when we judge it to be the right time and certainly not before the scan. grrr.

MrsPuddleduck · 26/05/2008 13:49

I meant DS2 had a Dora Campervan (that takes his total campervan ownership up to 3 - he obviously has a thing for them!)

MrsPuddleduck · 26/05/2008 13:48

Good resting you guys!

I am so pleased for you CE - I am laughing at the thought of you and your DH dancing around the room!

Thanks for all the conern. I actually feel OK now and the bleeding has stopped so I will see how I go. I am definitely going to go back to the doctor if it starts again. I would go to the out of hours as well if need be (I am a regular up there!) so there's no need to worry. Its just a bit weird the way it started, stopped and then started again. Perhaps its just one of those things. I am definitely feeling better today - I was so miserable last night I had myself booked in for a hysterectomy LOL!

Hope you're all enjoying the bank holiday.

Went to the £480 party in Cheshire yesterday. It was bog awful. At one point I noticed DS2 curled up in a ball crying on the floor, I ran over and picked him up and was consoling him thinging he had fallen over when SIL walks up and says "oh sorry, that was because I told him off, he hit, well tried to hit Daisy and well, she is a guest at the party so I felt I had to tell him off". A - he didn't even hit her B - Did she REALLY have to tell him off and C - Why would you tell a child off, make them cry and then walk away I am bloody livid with her!

Went to MacDonalds and ToysRus afterwards. It was DS's firs trip and they were really pleased bless them! Then spent an outragrous amount of cash in ToysRus due to Leapsers being half price (£25 down from £50) and the games were buy one get one free. Lucky old DS1 - DS1 had a Dora Campervan (DH has now started calling him Ben Mitchell aka Eastenders and says he will be tap dancing next!LOl!)

ChocolateEclair · 26/05/2008 13:07

cheers guys! I'm still in shock!

HC - FF was unsure when I ov'd so AF would have been due either today, tomorrow or wednesday. So technically it could have been up to 2 days early at most, but maybe not early at all! (Understand the research puropses! LOL!)

ceebee - you sound like you are enjoying your pg a bit more! Aerobics classes - very impressive! Enjoy your kip!

I am also going for a cat nap...I had been wondering why I was so exhausted last week. I put it down to "endofterm-itus" as we teachers call it but now I have another reason!

HumphreysCorner · 26/05/2008 12:49

ChocEclair-congratulations! That is fab news. How many days early did you test? (for research purposes of course )

willmouse-can you get to A&E for a checkup?

ceebee-progressing nicely.

CE - OMG What fantastic news!! I just knew that we would have at least one BFP this month and we already have 2!

Willmouse - sorry you are feeling ill but I would really go and get it checked out. As CE said, what would you advise us to do?

HC - sorry AF arrived for you but we are not all as lucky as HM2J are we?

Hi to everyone else - hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.

As for me, I think I am officially now in the second trimester and through the crapness that is the first trimester Have not felt sick for 2 days now and seem to be slightly more energetic and feel almost normal again! Have done my aerobics class 3 mornings in a row now which is quite an achievement. Having said that, DH has taken DS to MIL's for the afternoon so I am going to have a nap in a bit

x

Knax · 26/05/2008 11:49

Lots of love to Willmouse, hope you're ok.

CE that is fantastic news !!! Sorry but I hadn't read back to where he/she was conceived so I thought Leaf was another of the abbreviations I don't understand!

ChocolateEclair · 26/05/2008 11:36

Willmouse - actually I think you maybe should go to the out of hours. It could be something serious couldn't it? (I don't want to make you more worried than you already are, but you should trust your instincts. If you think something is wrong then go. Pain is not good, esp with bleeding is it? ) If it was one of us, what would you say we should do?????

Knax - if you read our recent history we were joking that if I fell pg this month we might have to call the baby leaf due to erm...where it was conceived! LOL

Just did the clearblue digital and that is BFP aswell. DP and I danced round the room! .

Knax · 26/05/2008 11:21

hang on a minute CE, what does Leaf mean? Are you saying you got a BFP!!!!??!
