Hi
oh chocolateeclair....ive only just popped on...sorry not much conversation from me at mo....i just wanted to say darling im so very very sorry to hear what has happened to you , darling you seem to be coping so well...its such an awful sad time for you....I know when we lost our little darling, without goin into too much detail one of the things my work did was got us a beautiful miniture rose bush...its in a pot in the garden, dh and i brought a small fairy figurine for the garden and they stand side by side, my 'thing' which also upset me that i had nothing to 'show' the little one had been there iykwim, now every yr we put little t.lites (one for each yr) on the date which was birthday and just have a little cuddle....our little one this yr sort of understood so we told her what we were doing...now she calls the rose bush and fairy .....the babies r.bush etc...very sweet and moving.....
another thing which we wasnt told at the time (prob cause i had complications and so much trauma.) but found out we should have ttc after next period again...as preg hormones still wizzing around....
darling i wish you all the luck in the world...take care my darling and give yourself time to grieve....
to everyone else...good luck darlings!
il try and be around but my healths a bit crap at the mo!
all my love and hugs
xxxxxxx

Right, seing as I'm going to be around ttc again, I thought I'd be brave and start the new thread! here

I guess we don't need to start using it yet, but didn't want MJIM or HM2J to get back off their hols and not be able to find us cos it ran out!

CE xx

ChocolateEclair · 19/06/2008 17:15

angel - the fertile days according to FF are the 3 days before ov plus ov day itself. Your temp will rise on ov day and your opk should show +ve 24-36 hours before ov. And (TMI alert!)your CM should go to EWCM 24-48 hours before ov.

Does that make sense? I take all 3 into account!

LOL at 'starting too early'! This has soooo happened to us. Too tempting to get cracking and then by ov day he doesn't want to again! .

ChocEclair-glad today went well. Tomorrow will be even better.

Bailey-ah, 'tis just as much fun taking temps after OV as FF plots the rises and falls and gives you clues to whether you are PG or not. It rises after OV, could dip for implantation then stays risen if PG but falls again if not. Like I said earlier, my temp rose this morning but if it drops again I will be grrrhhhing at everyone.

Have just cut some bushes down a tad but wish I hadn't as everything is cramping even more now.

Laters-must get the spag bol heated up.

HC - sorry for BFN, but as you say it is VERY early! Keep symptom spotting for the next 5 days! glad you are ok about it and still smiling

Baileymist (he he!) - I am a temp taker too. i reckon you should give it a go. Thermometer only cost about £3 and FF does all the brainwork. It gives me satisfaction anyway to take temp each morning! You can also clearly tell that you have def ov'd which is good!

Mandy - you still crack me up! Oysters, hmm, not sure; champagne, deffo!, how about asparagus???? Perhaps some new lingerie? It's fun trying really isn't it!?!

soosy - hope your dr's appointment goes well. What would you expect to happen next do you think? Hope you are feeling a bit more like yourself.

Well, I survived my 1st day back.It was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. I got 3 lovely cards, one off my colleague who had the MMC in January (you may remember me feeling sad at the time about this). She really said just the perfect thing and it did help. The kids were their usual crazy selves which was lovely! (I even enjoyed telling a couple off!)

Thanks again for everyone who was thinking nice things for me this morning.....I felt your vibes xx

juanitad · 19/06/2008 16:04

Welcome back Angel/baileymist,

Just wondered whether you are still planning on going to Oz over Christmas? I don't think I got the update on that one. Love the new name by the way, how did you come up with it? I am always interested to know how people choose their MN names. Mine is the Spanish version of my real name plus the first initial of my surname. That's because I'm a Spanish teacher, so wanted a bit of a Spanish feel to it!

CE - how was work today? And how are you feeling? You said you were going to be going in to hospital (I think) on Monday - is that still the case? Hope that goes ok too.

Love to everyone else

HumphreysCorner · 19/06/2008 14:41

Sorry, I thought you were a temp taker like moi. Couldn't survive without taking my temp 7am every morning. Would recommend it and it will help FF plot and plan better as well as yourself.

Are you using a proper Basal thermometer with 2 numbers after the decimal point? Had to laugh about there being very little coming out My poor DH had to save it all up for a few days to make a strong mix.

This is my chart here Use it to compare coloured boxes. There is a help page on FF under Help/Info. Once you have OV'd I think the coloured boxes change but as far as I'm aware you are fertile 2/3 days before and after OV day. Mindblowing isn't it?

Hi Juanita, weather?s a little better now, no?

Ceebee, wow, Josh is sooo cute and it looks like he has a gorgeous personality to match.

Hi Soosy, nice to see you, hope you?re ok.

Hi Angel, nice to see you. What a pain with you colleague!

HC, sorry to hear about the hay fever, hope it eases soon. Good luck with the Ebaying.

Hi there Baileymist waves

Thinking of CE, hope all went OK today.

I?m jokingly working on shopping list for the next BD Fest - 08 (summer of love) ? 27/6 ? 1/7. Am thinking some naughty bottles of Cava? Pink perhaps? And candles, and a couple of oysters a bit closer to the time? (well they sure worked magic for our wedding night)

Have a nice day all. x

HumphreysCorner · 19/06/2008 11:06

My biggest worry is that the items look better in the picture than in real life IYSWIM. That is why I think DH should deal with it.

P.S. Agree that a new thread title is needed rapido! Don't know what though.

Well hello Baileymist. AF not due until next Weds lol! However, I do seem to have lots of symptoms but I'll bet it is my evil body playing tricks on me. My DH thinks I should be like him but I am a bit of a scaredy cat-perhaps that is why I was so rubbish at selling. Too scared to ring anyone up.

soosy-nice to see you. What will happen at your follow up appointment? Hope something can happen for you both.

Now dreading getting an E-Mail from this Ebayer. There I go again...........

Morning all

BFN as expected but my temp has risen-got to be a good thing hasn't it? Boobs still hurting.

Angel-lovely to hear from you. You are so right about MC's being common. I thought it was rare and later on found that most of the people I know have had one. Unlike me they never talk about it. I think you should talk about it.

ceebee-gorgeous boy!

DH suffering with hayfever so up at dawn this morning. I laid there until temp taking time. So managed to chop all ingredients for spag bol and put one lot of fairy cake mixture in the cases and make up some choc bun mixture.

Ebay and DH stressing me out as we have sold 2 collect items which will be collected from DH's work. Man wants to collect today but of course DH hasn't taken them as I have only just read the E-Mail. DH thinks I'm being funny that I won't let him collect from here. I do not want a strange man coming to my home when I am on my own. Men!!!!

Must get on with my cakes and spag bol.

Love to all especially ChocEclair on her return to work.

Hi all

Sorry I am a lurker these days too, trying not to get obsessed with the whole TTC thing and get on with other stuff. Also difficult with colleague constantly peeking at my machine cos she knows we are TTC and is so nosey ...!

But just to say CE, I have logged on just this morning and am so upset to hear your news. I feel so upset for you and I hope you are okay. But you seem to be coping well and your DH is a gem. I have read actually that MC are really common, but no-one talks about them, I think it's something like 1 in 4 and as you say, at least you know you can get preggers. Hope work is okay today. Chin up and we are all thinking of you.

Lots of love and hi to everyone else.

xxx

PS I am going to name-change as colleague keeps calling me "Angel" (as in "darling" etc - think she might be stalking me?!)

Bellie · 19/06/2008 07:43

HC - what's happened this morning

Ceebee - he is sooooo adorable!

soosy nice to see you on here with a very timely reminder!

CE - thinking of you today hope it goes ok.

Wave to everyone else

soosy · 18/06/2008 21:17

Hello everyone, I am here, lurking for the moment, haven't decided what to do yet and have to make what's known as a follow up appointment.

I just really wanted to mention that we are at 920 posts and so should be looking for a new home!

Sx

ceebee74 · 18/06/2008 20:49

CE - thanks for your lovely comments - of course I think is absolutely adorable I also love his blond hair/dark eyes and really really hope it stays like that - however both me and DH have very dark brown hair so it is likely that in time, his will darken aswell I probably have told you his name and not bothered about keeping it secret - he is called Josh (or Jish if you ask him) and well spotted about his age - he is 2 in July! Sorry - just gone on then but I do love talking about him

ChocolateEclair · 18/06/2008 20:39

awww ceebee - he is adorable! How old is he? nearly 2? and the blond hair dark eyes combo is very sweet. He's going to break hearts you know!!!! (Did you tell us his name or do you keep it private on here?)

ceebee74 · 18/06/2008 20:19

This might cheer you all up a little - DS decided he wanted one of my hairclips in this morning.

here is the evidence - how pretty does he look DH was not impressed and unfortunately wouldn't let me take him to nursery with it still in!

CE - good luck tomorrow and hope it all goes ok - will be thinking of you!

HM2J - have a fantastic holiday

HC - hope the testing goes well tomorrow

Hi to everyone else.
