Hey, thought I'd start this thread to wait out the painful TWW with anyone in a similar boat.

I'm quite an anxious person so only positivity and happy stories welcome please.

I had a terrible time trying to conceive a few years back with an ex due to infertility on his side, and so now I have met my life partner and we have started trying this cycle I am struggling not to feel down like I did before even though it's someone different.

I must add that we did have one off unprotected sex last cycle and I had a chemical. So I am hoping we will be lucky soon.

I have a lower egg reserve and I am 35 so anyone in a similar boat to me I'd love to hear from you.

@MKD1 hey! How are you? How many cycles have you been trying for? I too am hoping to be pregnant this month! I go away next Saturday and I am due on, on the Sunday so I am praying that we've been lucky and I can surprise my other half either on holiday or just before x

Hi All, please can I join! I'm not sure if/when I ovulated. My body has been playing mind games with me! But I'm due my period on the 16(estimate- due to irregular periods)!! Hoping to be pregnant!

@PSYJAM oh and hope you have a lovely birthday Monday! When is AF due? I would say if you don't know if you are pregnant then maybe have one or two and don't go mad? X

I'm 7dpo today and period calculator says period is between 13-14 , I couldn't help myself and got myself a test and got bpn 😅 now I've decided that maybe it wasn't it this month.
I feel you on the whole convincing yourself you are, I kinda feel like this right now. Xx

I'm only 5DPO today, I took another with the same wee after I saw the line and it was negative so it was deffo a false positive. I'm going to wait until 8/9DPO to test 🤞🏼

Think il do the same! I have one step tests what do you use? I am not normally and early tester but I feel like based on a chemical last cycle I want to know early this month x

@PSYJAM yeah exactly! Il just enjoy my holiday and drink & then my next fertile period is a s soon as we land so il have that fun to look forward too. I am really really tired today and I have just eaten so much chocolate which I am really annoyed with myself about! I never eat that much! But it's because I am so tired I did it, it can't be pregnancy symptoms as I'm only 5dpo. I've not really had any symptoms yet, I suspect i won't this cycle. I don't know why, I can't can't let myself believe I could be pregnant. I get so sad every time AF comes or when I realise I am out for the month. 6dpo tomo so could be the start of implantation symptoms so I suspect il he ok watch 😂 how many dpo are you? I may test from 8/9 dpo this cycle xx

Whilst I dog walk in the rain & wonder whether this will be my month or not, I think it would be nice if we all reminded ourselves of one positive thing that would happen should we get AF & not a BFP this month. Il start... I get to have one more wild boozy holiday with my love & can look forward to my fertile period when I land! Who is next? X

That's great and you know away on holiday is the right setting for baby making 😎piN̈A cOLadaS and that!!!
It's my birthday on Monday and I'm really in two of having a drink hahaa might go to the sea side if its nice.

If I am pregnant I wouldn't want to booze myself off so I'm confused!!!
Had any symptoms today?! This might be a symptom of luteal phase but I am so constipated and bloated I feel like winnie the pooh ❤️ sorry for tmi 😅 xxx

Ahhh okay! I'm 6dpo today but I'm not tracking properly so I feel like I actually could be 8dpo based on some twinges I had last week. I'm gunna try hold out for as long as possible because I remember when I tried with my son I got a negative and was really upset so had a few G&Ts... few days later AF didn't come. Oops 😂

@sellingupslow I'm waiting until 8dpo. That's my goal. Don't have much hope for this month to be honest so I'm more chill about it but it would be a nice surprise.

I very stupidly (I can't even think of a reason I did this 😂) did a test yesterday and it came back positive. Obvs false positive because it's WAY too early to test but it was a bit of an up and down of emotions in a short period of time 🫣 I won't be testing until you ladies do, I need help to restrain myself 😁

@HopefulSS that's such a lovely thing to suggest doing!

I'll be grateful to spend another month with my daughter as an only child. Whilst I'm excited to give her a sibling, I'm also feeling very sad about losing what we have, even though I know it's going to be double the fun!

@SunshineMine yeah that's how I am seeing it, il either be pregnant on Sunday when I am on hols or il be able to drink and enjoy my holiday normally and pass the time until my next fertile window when I am back!

I use Flo too but I find it tells me I ovulate later by two to three days, so I use period tracker as well. How do you know you are ovulating do you bbt or do you know by cervical mucus etc? Xx

@HopefulSS I don't track my ovulation properly just put my period dates in Flo and use that as a guide. It's my first month TTC #2 so if we're struggling in a few months I might start tracking it properly!

I'm also going on holiday soon, next Sunday. I'll be 17dpo, so I'll either be pregnant or able to enjoy a little drinky poo on the beach. Positive vibes!!! 😛

With my first it took a year to get pregnant so really hoping it happens quicker for us this time! DD is 4 and just started big school today so emotions are high 🥹

Hey! So sorry about your miscarriage that's horrible. Hopefully your sticky BFP is round the corner! Maybe take a month off from doing all that if you feel like it? Just have regular sex and you may find that taking your mind off things does the trick. Although I hate it when people say that to me because thinking about pregnancy and tracking ovulation doesn't prevent it. The whole "relax and it will happen" comments are doing my head in already and it's only cycle 1. Is this your first baby? Are you 35 too? X

Yes I am! No this would be my second, it took me over a year the first time and it was oddly the month when I thought I was out as I went away when I was ovulating so only BD once quite early in my cycle

@YourRealLion ok so we are super similar in this case too! I did have sex once last cycle in my fertile period and I had a chemical but that was like a practice month I didn't have much sex in that week as I had a lot going on.
It's so hard not to symptom spot! I have been bloated and gassy and irritated all day, tired and miserable and if I was 7/8dpo I'd put it down to pregnancy but at 4dpo I know it's just me or progesterone lol.
I try really hard to tell myself I'm chilled and it's all fine & in reality I am but I am the most impatient person in the world! And I hate the not knowing!!
Each cycle I know il get more and more impatient 🫣

Had a miscarriage in June and was hoping I'd be one of those who got pregnant straight away the next cycle and was three days late last cycle so massively had my hopes up but nope..
