2nd cycle ttc dc2, AF due next thurs

so far i have not done any testing (unlike last month when i wasted so many test strips!)

let us get through the next week together

also i have very little symptoms compared to last month. my boobs are not overly sore, and cramps are much less

hi flower, i got my preseed from www.accessdiagnostics.com. delivery was fast and free. a pack of 6 costs about £9 i think. so not cheap at all. and each one is single use only.

so many people swear by it, apparently it helps the little swimmers go farther for longer.

AF is due in 7 days! so who will join me and hold hands?

Well good luck everyone. I'm away from tommorow for a week so will have tested before I come back. DH's birthday day I plan to test (if AF hasn't come) so hoping to be able to give him a peed on stick...the lucky man.
No symptons though...well..if I had just started trying I would be convinced there were but last couple of months have noticed pre period symptons the same as pre finding out I'm pregnant symptons.

flowerfairy · 14/05/2008 19:55

It's ok have just found ttc #2 thread and read about it. If no joy this month will be buying some of that. When ttc ds I bought ov sticks, thinking this will never work and lo and behold that month it did.

flowerfairy · 14/05/2008 19:48

What's pre seed never heard of that before? Where can you get it from? Expensive or cheap?

Heron23 · 14/05/2008 18:53

hi madame, i found pre seed to be useful. i started using it last cycle and this cycle as well. cant really say whether it is effective as i havent got my BFP yet!

last month i did get a faint BFP and then AF got me

wait and see what this month brings

i am using clearblue fertility monitor and it tells me when i get the LH surge. i definitely find it useful

cathers · 14/05/2008 17:34

Umm madame.. that was my next thought for next month if no BFP. Have heard of a few people fall with first time of use so will be ordering next week if =when= af arrives.
As far as i know its a lube that you use befoere BD which makes your more 'hospitable to swimmers'.

I find it helpful to try new suggestions as it makes me feel i'm doing something positive towards ttc! Currently addicted to opks - next month pre-seed.! Also have a 2.9 year old and been ttc for 8 months now with one m/c in feb so in same boat. Will let you know any pre-seed news!

madame · 14/05/2008 17:22

what are peoples thoughts on pre seed, it hasd been suggested to me and I have never tried it. What does it do?

Heron23 · 14/05/2008 17:09

welcome madame! hi beckmo! yes, it is that time of the cycle again, the good old 2WW.

i agree about it being hard to BD with a little one around the house (come to think of it, prob not easier either with an older child around the house!)

i have no real symptoms so far, boobs starting to feel sore, the odd belly twinge. thats about it really. have the last acupuncture session booked for fri this week. the last one for this cycle. if i am not preg this cycle, for next cycle it will be just the one session, a day prior to ovulation. i cannot tell you if the acupuncture is working or not. but i have noticed that my LH has increased. the line on the test stick is that much darker. i am not sure if that is meant to be good or not.

at this stage, i will try pretty much anything!

I'm back after BFN last month. Day 20 of cycle and 4 days post ovulation. Going away on holiday next week so hoping packing etc will take my mind of it all. Once again no symptons ..and it's so much harder trying when you already have a little one...kept missing opportunities this month so not too hopeful.Anyway...I find coming on here helps me not to test early...or at least feel I'm not the only one doing it...

flowerfairy · 13/05/2008 20:42

I don't tend to count days am not as dedicated as some on this thread. Roughly think am due on 20th of month, though cycle varies between 28-32 days. Roughly guess ov fro ewcm, but as i said before only bd once this month due to bad back. Only try to test when at least 14days late as i hate the disappointment of bfn more than af arriving. am alwalys determined to be positive & relaxed but know that fall flat on it's face as the pms gets worse. Though my really painful boobs & cramps have only just begun to get worse (7days before which is a huge relief after 5 months of dreadful pms).

And i know i have not been through half of what some of you have. Good luck all

madame · 13/05/2008 18:40

hello, i would like to join here if that's ok. I have dd 2and half and am trying conceive my second. Have been trying for the last year to no avail...I am 37

So nice to read here that I am not the only one that does early pregnancy tests!

I am about 3 weeks into my cycle, I do have sore boobs and had real stomach cramps for the last 2 days but gone today..

I have had 2 miscarriages so it would be great to have another healthy baby. Found this thread so comforting to read that others are in the same boat.

cece · 13/05/2008 18:20

Hello again, CD 24 here and AF due about next Wednesday time but it was 5 days late last month so who knows!

cathers · 13/05/2008 14:31

hi everyone - here we are again ...
AF due next tuesday. Did opk again this month, def ovulated last week and did +BD over the right time. Not feeling hopeful though but then again strangely more relaxed this month as been on hols last week, change of scene etc etc..Will late till next weekend to test . thats what i said last month!

littlemissdaisy · 13/05/2008 14:16

Hi Guys, Hope you are all well I am CD23 today, not sure when to expect the witch this month due to CP last month, so just waiting, have been BD'ing every other night, don't know if our when I ovulated so leaving it to chance this month really, feeling a bit low/disheartened this week though, imagining symptoms that probably arn't there, same old, same old. Hows everyone else doing? anybody got a test date in mind yet.

Heron23 · 13/05/2008 09:35

hear hear!

AF is due in 9 days (6dpo). not obsessing yet this month. i have a bad cold and feeling quite miserable

luckily the cold came on dy 17! so got lots of BDing before the cold came

congratulations tink. Great news. Perhaps this is a good sign for us all this month. Fingers crossed for all. May the sunshine have shone on us all and the sperm swam the right way.

Heron23 · 11/05/2008 19:22

hi tink, i set the alarm last night for 6am this morning, hoping to take my temp. but guess what? DS woke me up at 5.55am! and of course without thinking i shot out of bed...

he usually wakes up at 6.30am

anyway, i think it is too late for me to get an idea of my pre-ov temp as it is now dy17 for me and i have already ov'ed.

how are you feeling tink? is this your first child?

I'm on my 2ww and though am not holdin gout hope as bd has been very few and far between as i posted before. But I am wallowing in the bliss of not having my usual 2weeks of pms hell and feeling quite happy and pain free, just a few stomach cramps (though secretly hoping that my 1 bd session has been successful) unlikely i know.

Heron23 · 09/05/2008 17:56

Hello! anyone about to be on the 2WW?

i will be tomorrow!
