9dpo…. Desperate to POAS

It’a silly because I did a test this morning that was a BFN (I knew it would be!). It’s 9pm and I want to do another even though I know it’ll be the same and it’d be more diluted anyway 😂

I already have one DC, who I conceived on first or second cycle of ttc 4 years ago (and had BFP at 10dpo). I naively thought it would be just as quick this time around but here we are, cycle 5!

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has an urge to test even though I know it’ll be negative?!

@PennyPencils yes I’ve probably done 10 tests and have definitely got my bfp!
I’m not due my period until Thursday (according to my app) so I’m still very cautious but there has been a very good line progression so fingers crossed.

How are you doing?

@RoseannesMamma I’m so sorry for your losses. I have my fingers crossed for you.
Thats exactly how it was with my first!!! It set me up for thinking that it’s easy for me to conceive, it’ll be quick!

@Starburst12 This is our 5th cycle since Feb 2024 but have had 3 losses which has thrown my cycles all over the place! Our daughter was conceived first cycle of properly trying after one “we’ll see how it goes” cycle!

Oooh fingers crossed for some good line progression!

But you don’t get BFP at the same time each pregnancy. I’ve had a few losses and I’ve tested positive on different days each time and different to my daughter. It’s all a (very annoying) waiting game when it comes to the TWW xx

Oh it definitely is very confusing and frustrating!! What cycle are you on? It’s so different the second time around.

I have done a test this afternoon after a 4hr hold and it came back with a vvvvfl. So I’m holding now again for as long as I can and doing another test because tomorrow morning seems a million miles away.

In 9dpo and POAS this morning because I couldn't wait any longer. Still stark white negative 🥲

Have a feeling not pregnant this month.
I remember from the last bout of TTC that I'd sometimes get a line in the afternoon better than the first one. So that's my excuse for caving in so badly.

Hello, this section of the forum is frequented by hundreds of women like you :) you can't control anything, so you have to try to relax...
For example, read a book, start a new series, do yoga...
