TTC Sept 2024

@MrsKurz with my first the line was quite faint at 10/12 DPO. Think I might have ovulated later than my app showed. I wasn't tracking ovulation tho, was just going by estimates based on cycle. Line stated getting darker after missed period date.

Morning everyone. I am 12dpo today and tested with some other tests I had at home. They are both positive but super faint. I had a positive digital yesterday but I would expect them to be darker by now? Problem is they are all different brands as I was away on holiday… so it’s like comparing apples with orange. I have another one of these tests, so I gues the best thing is to wait 2 days and test again… torture!

in the meantime… any success stories of faint positives at 12dpo?

Hi everyone, I’ve been on previous threads but first time posting in sept.

in my fertile window atm and just feeling so low. I feel like it’s impossible to get pregnant. How does everyone else in my life get pregnant and we just can’t seem to??? I know this sounds ridiculous but it just feels impossible 🥲🥲

I’m a day late for my period but only 8dpo as I ovulated a day later than expected. I’ve had implantation bleeding with each successful pregnancy (2 mmc, and 1 successful DD) and just started spotting today. Half of me thinks I’m out, a little hope that it’s implantation bleeding but I’m probably out as it was a short time between ovulated and period due date.

@MyGardenDaisies I had myself convinced I was pregnant this month but not looking like it's going to happen. My period still hasn't arrived... my last cycle was 23 days and I'm day 29 today... before my misscarriage my cycles were very regular at 28. So theoretically I suppose my period could arrive any time.. I'm not going to test again until next weekend if my period still doesn't make an appearance. 🤷‍♀️

Hey ladies! This is my first post! Been ttc since I miscarried at 11 weeks in June. Period due today. Testing neg but still nonperiod. Had quite intense pains last sat which I though may be implantation but now I'm wondering was I ovulating late... I'm not tracking ovulation. Iv had nausea past few days esp yesterday... and it's odd because I never get nauseated b4 my periods normally. This whole think is head melting lol so yes I'm joining in the convo... nice to meet u all x

@superscientist sorry about your loss ❤️ yes I think I would definitely get too obsessed with testing, so will not be doing OPKs/bbt until at least 2025 if needed.

I've been off contraception since March and never get any EWCM. I have CM just not egg white. But I do get the increased libido and sometimes ovulation pains, but didn't get any pains this month annoyingly!

I am TTC number 2. I have been pregnant twice without tracking things.
With my daughter I stopped contraception at the end of August and I got my positive test in December after 3 periods. We didn't change anything and just went with our moods. My plan was to start trying to deliberately DTD in my fertile window after Christmas.
I stopped contraception for number 2 in April and had 1 period before testing positive. Unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage at 10 weeks. We are trying again, I'm now more aware of my fertile window but so far our natural mood has been sufficient. Since the miscarriage I have noticed a few changes with ovulation - discharge has gone more egg white like, I get tender nipples and my libedo goes up - mother nature working to our advantage!
I would probably give yourselves a couple of cycles to understand what you can learn from your body before going down the rabbit hole of tracking ovulation etc especially if this could become obsessive and stressful! I definitely would fall into this camp!

I’m 9DPO and I don’t think my last cheap stick is showing anything although I’ve convinced myself that I see a very faint red shadow line on yesterday and todays ??? I’m going mad!! 😩

I was lucky to get pregnant with 1st cycle trying with my first and at the time didn’t have as much knowledge so only tested 10DPO and it was a faint but deffo there positive with first test. So now it’s sinking in that omg this might not be as quickly as then!

Period is due tomorrow so that will tell, as I don’t have any tests in the house

I'm the same as you, TTC #1 cycle 1, and not doing any ovulation testing for at least the first few months!

I'm going to assume I'm 1DPO based on when I've ovulated in previous cycles but I really have no idea 🤣 we've been DTD at least every other day, sometimes more, so we're definitely covered 🤞

I'm going away next week and will be away until my period is due. So hoping it will be a good distraction!

Hi! Been watching here for a couple of days. 6/7 DPO, driving myself mad symptom spotting. Loads of cramping, low and left sided. Wouldn’t normally have period cramps this early.
Dont have any test it’s the only way I can resist the urge to POS at any given chance.

@FirstbabyTTC31 all that to say… I found the BBT helpful, and you might. Also I was a total psycho my first cycle TTC, this time I was much better 😂 i think it’s normal to not be able to think about much else in the beginning

Thank you!! So this is my 2nd pregnancy. The first time I only used OPKs for the last 2 months, and it took us 4 months total. This time I used OPKs and BBT, and I found it SO helpful as I realised that I ovulate quite late after my first positive OPK, so I think having that info made a big difference to BD timing. This time it only took us 2 cycles, and my husband was sick during the fertile window last month so who knows what might have happened?

I am desperately trying to not take a test as I'm only 7dpo according to my app, but also I could be 9dpo as I swear I had ovulation pain two days earlier than predicted!

Having said all that, I could be imagining allllll of it!! We generally DTD regularly anyway so decided to start TTC by just not using contraception and seeing what happens but if it gets 6 months in, to start tracking BBT and ovulation.

What a wild ride, this is only cycle 1 and I'm already way down the TTC rabbit hole 🤦🏻‍♀️

Digital this morning!! 🥲🥲 I think I believe it now.

I’ve got 1 cheap test left, need to go to the shop as I’ll break the bank if I keep Ubering Clear Blue 🫣😄 but I’ve pulled my back so bad I can barely get to the bathroom let alone fiddle with a test ugh so it might be that I have to wait till I’m better or unless my period starts

I have a very stressful job so it is hard but I am seeing a maternity as my “get out of jail card” 😂which helps me muster up the energy after an awful day. I’ve also booked 10 days off over fertile window and will do the same in November.

I wish I had the stamina for this 😂 our tactic is prime time go go go, other then that he's lucky to get a hand hold 😂😂
