Moving over from lurking on TTC Aug 2024, as AF just arrived yesterday. Anyone else joining?

Hi! We have decided to try for baby number 3 and got implant taken out end of July. 5 days later I got my period but we only managed to dtd once so doubt we've been lucky enough to catch this month, period due next week, so joining you all for September.

Wishing you all luck.

Hello! Was lurking on the August TTC thread. I am now cycle day 2 of my 28 day cycle.

We obviously didn't get lucky last month despite really "trying" (lol). Yesterday I felt very sad and disappointed and grumpy but trying to pull myself together and move forward.

This would be our second child. My son will be 3 years old soon. With him, I fell pregnant straightaway and kind of expected the same to happen this time which I know is completely unreasonable. I know it is normal to take some time, but it is still gutting and I can't believe how loopy it sent me last month constantly thinking about it so will do my best to chill and focus on being healthy this month.

Totally get the disappointment even though logically it's unlikely the first month - I felt the exact same. Think it's super normal ♥️

Welcome!

@TTCIrish @MrsKurz thank you both xx
I did speak to them and they've advised to call back in a week if I'm still testing positive.
Bleeding has nearly stopped now and test was darker again this evening, they said maybe implantation bleeding as I'm still only like 13/14dpo (just heavier than you would expect) or early loss so only time will tell!

I did had a heavy implantation bleed with a previous pregnancy but I misscarried that at 8 weeks so I'm not tooooo sure what to think

I'm on cycle day 10 today and my husband is away tomorrow afternoon until the afternoon of cycle day 13.

Anyone have any idea if that reduces our chance of having sperm meet egg this month? If I peak on day 13 we should still be able to DTD that day, so we should be alright, right? Overthinking it a bit!!

Defo DTD that day and the day after! We actually did it 2 days after peak and fell pregnant! So can happen! X

Possumly · 24/08/2024 21:40

I'd like to join! I should be ovulating around now but we aren't gong to try until my next cycle in September. 2nd baby for us!

@MrsKurz yeah I just phoned 111 now so waiting for a doctor to call me back

Hoping for the best, preparing myself for the worst Blush

Thinking of you, hope you got a call back

LS888 · 24/08/2024 20:30

@TTCIrish I’m sure you will have a good chance then. 🤞🏻

My peak is always around day 19 so quite late and without the tests I would have had no idea. Would have been trying at the wrong time completely.

Fingers crossed for you!

TTCIrish · 24/08/2024 20:26

LS888 · 24/08/2024 20:18

@TTCIrish I would try not to worry about it. I know easier said than done! Still a chance when DTD on day 13. Do you know when you ovulate?

Thanks for replying! I've only been tracking one month so far. Last month I peaked CD14 but it was almost as high CD13! Still learning what it all means 😁 but yeah if I peak on CD14 and we DTD 13,14,15 we should be covered I hope

Extremely confused what's going on - heavy bleeding the last few days, digital was negative yesterday and today I got this...

I thought I was having a chemical as the lines weren't getting darker but today they are darker...

Could this be eptopic due to the blood?

Might be best to call EPU to check? Are you still bleeding?

I had bleeding in the beginning of my last pregnancy that I kept getting brushed off as “normal”. It turned out to be an infection in my cervix, and a week of suppository antibiotics sorted it out

Morning all, jumping over from Aug as AF arrived this morning 😞

Ahhhh sorry it didn’t work out for you last month, nice to see you here again ❤️

Bobbilennard · 24/08/2024 07:48

Hi guys, so partners last SA showed low morphology of 0.5%. I’ve seen a lot of things coming up about proxeed and impryl, just wondering what one you all would recommend to try and improve it? Or if you have success stories with either for improving sperm. Thanks🙂

GoingMadder · 24/08/2024 07:22

Got my first negative test. Disappointed but feel it was good to experience one to get that emotion understood.

Is anyone using any apps? I'm totally new to all of this so just using the flo freebie one for now.

I’m using natural cycles for the first time this month. With my first baby I just used ovulation tests, but this time I’m trying both

Hi can I join? I also started a new job in April! August has been our first month of trying but I had two holidays so spent a lot of it away from DH or sharing a room with DD! Expected period 5 days ago.

Oh wow, that's now three of us who started new jobs in April and are TTC in Sept! I hope it's a smooth journey for you.

Thank you everyone for sharing their stories so far, it's a privilege to be let in on something so personal with people you don't know.
