Fingers are crossed for you!

I had a horrific experience with medical management of MMC, retained tissue, then finally a D&C - the whole saga went on for about 2 months. I think I’ve only just now started to get over it all!

@SB0 hopefully. It’s so difficult isn’t it. Currently on holiday and I think 2DPO now. I ovulated on day 20 I think so not sure if there will be time this month before period is due. But fingers crossed for us both!

This is almost exactly my story… the mental recovery after a MMC is not an easy one, I understand - hopefully September is the month for both of us 🤞🏼

New here - have enjoyed reading many other TTC threads from previous months, it’s great to know that I’m not alone! Currently 7dpo and trying to resist the temptation to test early!

Nope, that's fine. You'll always see little variations but it's the overall pattern that's important.

Does anyone else who’s temping have this? Since ovulation my temp is so up and down, it’s still all above the line, but I don’t know? Is this a bad sign that it’s not worked this month?

Ahhh sorry to hear. I'll probably be joining you next month as well (also on cycle 2 this cycle), but I was sick this cycle and have a feeling it's messed it all up. I won't know til the end of next week though. We're on holiday from tomorrow and I'm deliberately not taking any tests with me!

I feel like I could have wrote this a few years ago. A miscarriage was what took me from a 290 day cycle to a 35-60 day cycle. I did go on to conceive which helped “regulate” things for me and they have stayed at this rate for some years now with the help of metformin. Waiting (im)patiently for a chance to add to our family and PCOS sucks.

Jumping on the chat if you don't mind. I am cycle day 8 and trying now for baby number 3 . Whoop!

Hiya, joining you all this month from August. Came off the mini pill 16th July, didn’t bleed until 6 weeks later 27th August. Been tracking ovulation and looks like I am at peak today so hopefully this shows my cycle will return to a ‘normal’ one. Got dull period type pains today so I assume this is a sign of ovulation?

Haha yes, well I mean it’s possible the rise was artificial from the illness and I didn’t ovulate at all. Let’s see; but I’m not that hopeful for this month

That’s probably it then. Illness and drugs will affect the reading. Or the world’s shortest luteal phase!

3dpo feels a bit soon for implantation. I did have a UTI this week (with no fever) and I took an anti inflammatory, and antibiotic, not paracetamol, so it’s probably messed everything up!

Implantation? Have you taken any paracetamol? That always made mine dip

I was feeling pretty confident about my temp rise after ovulation, but I had a big drop this morning so I don’t really know what to think? It’s only my first month temping so this is all new to me; my graph had just been pretty “by the book” up til today.

Yeah, pretty rubbish @curliegirlie. I am also on Levothyroxine (150mcg) and I had a year of metformin. No real joys 🤯

im glad you found benefits from it. I remember reading about AC years ago. I was too scared to use anything on the side when I was doing IVF though.

@LetstalkaboutBruno that sounds so tough. I had a similar 146 day cycle when TTC DD1 and it was then that I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Luckily the Levothyroxine (and possibly the agnus castus that I started just before) kicked in quickly and I subsequently had 30ish day cycles and signs of ovulation (OPK and temps) each cycle, and conceived six months later. i was so glad that mega cycle was a one off, it almost broke me!

I have PCOS @curliegirlie I don’t usually have ANY cycles and take synthetic progesterone to induce a bleed as I don’t ovulate. I have been undergoing IVF/fertility treatments for the past 5 years. Somehow, multiple rounds of Letrozole, egg collections, embryo transfers and unfortunately miscarriages have kick started something. This is my third cycle this year. Which is astronomical 🥹.

35 and going through puberty is how it feels!

Are you having a never-ending one or have you just not been logging periods?

CD11, not getting my flashing smiley on my clearblue ovulation tests yet which is really unusual for me 😓 could have done with it this morning as I have to face my brother and sister later in law who are 12 weeks pregnant with their second, and both were quick conceptions with no losses. Seeing them is so hard, and waiting to even be in the fertile window sucks x
