TTC Sept 2024

@HopefulSS Makes sense! That’s essentially what I’m doing this month. Just every other day/whenever we fancy.

@EagerBiscuit I know how you feel! We have booked 2 gigs for Jan and March because most I would be is 6 months pregnant but now we want to book a festival for June but we could be full term/with a newborn. But also we might not… and could just be disappointed with no plans

I actually thought I was being stupid feeling like this 🙈

I need to get my mind occupied on other things..and maybe get a nice surprise ✨️🤞🏼

It's the worst. And I know it's really early days. Some have been on this journey for years but in struggling this month. Feel like everyone is pregnant or has a newborn.

I've began looking at events/dates and think.. will I be pregnant then or will I have a baby then. Heads all over the place.

@EagerBiscuit yup totally feel this - cycle 4 of TTC again since my most recent MMC in May.

Was supposed to say but during my fertile window not hit

@CosmoMango I just have sex when I want hit during my fertile window I had sex 3 times in a row. That was twice because we would have had sex anyway and once because we knew it was my fertile period. I am feeling so hacked off with it that next cycle I'm going to just ignore my fertile period I think

I’m on month 4 but not due to ovulate for a week or so. Are other people concentrating efforts to ovulation day or going for every other day throughout the month. This will be the first month trying pressed and prenatal vitamins. I’m 26 in 2 weeks and TTC no.1. We used ovulation tests the last few months and concentrated efforts around the fertile days but it wasn’t effective. This month we’re going for every other day

Yeah me too. Super deflated and trying not to pressure or stress myself but I feel it's just hard and I can't help but stress or pressure myself. Cycle one this month, had a chemical last month which was a month where we didn't actively try. I'm more upset this month as I just have a feeling I am out (10dpo) bfn this morning. Next month I may just give up, not try so hard and focus on something else as much as that's impossible 🫣

Feeling a bit deflated at the minute. Anyone else?
3 months TTC after 7 week miscarriage in March.

Trying to avoid apps and ovulation tests. Trying to avoid pressure but feel like I'm pressuring myself. 😵‍💫

@LS888 I'd definitely have them again, but only really to find out as early as possible if I had another missed miscarriage. Try to avoid as much wasted time as possible if that makes sense.

@moosey89 so hard to know what to do about early scans. They gave me reassurance with my little girl as had already had our first mmc before conceiving her. So with the next pregnancy did the same- had an early reassurance scan. They only give you peace of mind for that moment in time and think that’s what you need to bear in mind.

Hey, sorry you feel like this. I tested today and feel so disappointed too. I am 9dpo and due AF Sunday, it's only cycle 1 for me so early for me too but I just wanted to say I totally get the disappointment feeling xx

Hi all… coming out of lurking mode for September. Month #4 TTC baby #1… decided to be more relaxed and not be on all forums this month. We also used preseed. I’m 9 or 10 dpo. Can I ask for some line eyes please? I’m in disbelief and not sure if I’m being delusional. Don’t want to tell hubby until it’s a BFP… had a very vivid dream on Saturday night about being pregnant with a baby girl 🥹😭😱 let me know what you guys think….

@Lbrd1 it's hard but it's best to wait....from someone who has had far too many negative tests to count! Saves money and can also save a lot of upset/disappointment.

Hello all, hope ok for me to message here. It’s my first time TTC and fighting the urge to test. I’m only DPO 8.

Do you think best to hold out until missed period?

@LS888 seeing a heartbeat in my first pregnancy definitely gave me a false sense of security - didn't even know MMC was a thing back then! Since had 2 more, but for those the early scans had a slow heartbeat so it never looked good from that first scan on, a little less shocking to deal with.

I'm now in cycle 4 TTC again since my most recent loss, just into fertile week. Thankfully on holiday in Cornwall next week so the 2ww shouldn't be as painful as normal 😊

@SB0 that sounds tough. So sorry you have had to go through that. Both of my MC were MMC. I opted for a D&C both times as my body seemed to want to hold on to the pregnancy. With the MMC I had in July, we had a successful scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat but must have stopped developing a few days later. So hard to see that and then go on to have a MC. My dates were slightly out but I think after seeing a heartbeat you think you are in the clear. Not sure whether I would get an early scan next time. Think it gave me false reassurance this time sadly.

I think I'm only on 2DPO and already feeling impatient that I have another two weeks to go until I find out either way!
