Just an update my cramps have subsided today! I'm still spotting but literally when I wipe now so I'm hoping I'm one of the success stories....this has never happened to me before in a healthy pregnancy so I'm still edging on the side of caution but definitely feel a little better today 🤞

Sending you all the positive vibes OP, spotting is so common in pregnancy and not always something to be worried about. Look after yourself, wrap up in a favourite blanket, light a lovely candle and read an old favourite book.

Thank you I will definitely try ❤️

Sending a handhold xx

With both of my DC, I was absolutely convinced I was about to come on my period. I had cramping, spotting and like you say, a really heavy feeling.
I spoke to my midwife who said it's really normal for a lot of women in very early pregnancy.

Both my dc were born very happy and healthy babies and are now 5 and 6.

I hope you have a wonderful, healthy and relaxed pregnancy xxx

Thank you so much for this I really appreciate it I hope my story turns out like yours 🤞❤️

@Anonaust great to see 2-3 weeks on digital! In addition to spotting since af due (in my story below) I also had cramps. And a very heavy feeling low in my uterus exactly like I was coming on. It might be worth giving EPU a call tomorrow and seeing if they'd be happy to book you for a scan at 6 weeks. Since your tests are getting "more" positive and you're having spotting, I can't imagine they wouldn't be willing to do that. Good luck xx

Thank you, I have booked a private viability scan for 6+6 (if I get there) it'll be easier for me than epu they're a bit funny here but it's reassuring to know you also had this, I do feel a heavy feeling down below too xx

Yes 2 weeks today would be right. That seems to be calculating accurately for you 😃

It does I was expecting to see 1-2 weeks with the cramping and spotting I'm having. Maybe there's hope... Such a shit wait x

Sorry to hear that. Don't lose hope though. I'm currently 12 weeks and I had brown spotting from the day af was due for 10 days. I was convinced it was a chemical but my lines kept getting darker each day and the spotting stayed light. EPU agreed to scan me at 6 weeks and everything was fine. Spotting can happen for many reasons and it can be a normal part of early pregnancy. Have you done a test today and if so, how is your line looking? Keeping everything crossed for you xx

I've got cramping too that I didn't have before I saw this spotting 😔 I have done a test yes it's not lighter but it's also not darker and previously I've had really dark tests at this stage so I am preparing for the worst. I can just feel it 😓

I've started spotting brown so not hopeful for a good outcome 😓

All normal pregnancies I never spotted at all, only time this happened before I miscarried so looks like that's what's coming💔

It’s at least twice as dark as the first one!

How exciting! A spring baby, how lovely 🥰

Will this be your first or are there big brothers or sisters?

Thank you! I'm actually 4 months pp so I'll be due exactly the same time next year 😬 I also have 3.5 year old, 18 and 16 year olds. All girls, but this is my last before I hit 40!
