TTC after loss part 5

Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

Thank you all so so much @DonnaWhat @LucyCL @Figtree11 @Onthedouble123 @Lovedatforme @ThelastRolo20 @LozElle

I don’t think it’s sunk in yet. I definitely didn’t imagine this when having the worst weeks of my life with the mmc earlier this year. Thanks for all the support on this thread and others.

@Figtree11 absolutely! I didn’t think my cycles were back to normal at all and my ovulation day was so different compared to before so there’s definitely a chance every month even if not ‘normal’. Keeping everything crossed for you.

@LozElle I had way fewer noticeable symptoms this time around versus my mmc pregnancy. The only symptom I had this time before bfp was my nipples looking different! Last time I had way more. Definitely feeling some today though.

Feel so nervous but so lucky. Sending all the positive vibes to everyone here, looking forward to following your journeys 🤍

Hi Ladies

Hope it's OK to join in! I am TTC again after a loss at 9 weeks in July. Although we've had a really tough few weeks, we feel emotionally ready to get straight back into it all again.

I had my peak LH at CD19 (counting from date of D&C). I would be about 6dpo now with no symptoms. I have been comparing to May when I got my BFP and I seem to have had some cramping around 6-9 dpo.

Congrats @Bellebg and @MisssMarion. That is super and gives me some hope! Did you have any noticeable symptoms in the lead up?

I'm not exactly sure when to expect AF after the D&C but based on ovulation, I guess another week. I will leave it until then to test🤞 anyone else on that sort of timeline?

✨️✨️ good luck to all!

ThelastRolo20 · 06/08/2024 14:17

@MisssMarion @Bellebg congratulations 🥰

Lovedatforme · 06/08/2024 13:49

@MisssMarion @Bellebg Ahhhh congrats on the BFP's!

Onthedouble123 · 06/08/2024 13:34

Congratulations @Bellebg !

And you too @MisssMarion - I did have a feeling you were counting yourself out too soon! 💕
@Ella31 your DH is so right! Easy to forget that when you're deep down a rabbit hole though isn't it. Xx

Thank you, I agree distraction for me is key. I find the weekend easiest as me & DP make sure we have plans. And he just grounds me really & makes me feel better. It’s when I have quite moments at work I get in my own head

Definitely. I'm staying of google completely. My dh always says it's the worst and best stories on the Internet, never the in-between.

Thanks @Ella31 . I just need to stay off Google now I think, any amount of obsessively searching the same questions won't change the result, anyway!

@Figtree11 you're definitely not alone. Each day feels very long. But things will get back to a pattern soon I'm sure, it just takes time. Distractions I find are the best cure!

Always good to hear good news. Especially gives me hope @Bellebg with your cycles a bit all over the place like mine have.

Let’s hope the good news continues for us all!

Although I don't post much on this thread, I still read it every day just to see how everyone is doing. 🙂I feel positive for all of us here!

Hi everyone, I feel conflicted sharing this as I know a lot of us have been feeling down ttc after miscarriage but I wanted to post it it helps give others a bit of hope.

My cycles are still a bit all over the place following mmc so I’m somewhere between 8-15 dpo and just got a bfp this morning. Feel in shock and beyond nervous about miscarrying again but mainly in shock that we’ve got pregnant again!!

I’ve been doing some tests after mmc on my microbiome and have just had results back saying that my PH is completely out of whack and possibly have BV again so desperate to get that sorted asap in case that’s what caused my last miscarriage.

Sending everyone hugs and best of luck for testing the rest of the month 🤞🏼

Fingers crossed for you for a viable pregnancy!!😀

Aw @Figtree11 I understand. I feel the same. The journey has been crap, I get it. But keep hoping. Although you had the awful experience of the molar pregnancy, I have great hope for you. We'll push you through on the dark days xx

Thank you ❤️ You all really do help me so much

ExTriTrying · 05/08/2024 20:54

@Figtree11 I completely understand, it is unbelievably frustrating, I was feeling very similar a few days ago. Now it's all over this "month" (~45 days!). Keep testing, it took my body a long time, but it did happen eventually, frustrating as I'm sure the daily updates to DH were.

Thank you. It is so frustrating. And then some days I feel down about it. But it really does help to speak to you guys & know that I’m not alone with these thoughts.
Sorry I can’t help with your message about ovulation - as from my previous posts I really don’t have a clue about it all 😂

Figtree11 · 05/08/2024 19:02

@Ella31 @DonnaWhat thank you both. Just feeling fed up today, I’m just sick of how difficult it is to become a mum.
I do appreciate the support x

Hello!

I hope everyone is doing ok! Sorry I've been radio silence. It took my 37 days after D&C to ovulate, didn't fall pregnant, and I was feeling a bit low.

This cycle it took 30 days... so hopefully on the way to being more normal but it was till a very frustrating 15 or so extra days. ClearBlue totally unreliable for me, I had 4 solid smileys in total (as in 8 days of!).

Looking at the recent posts, I'm coming with this question at a good time as it's topical!
This all probably sounds stupidly obsessive, but I can't stop Googling, so I'm asking.

Usually, my LH surge starts around 10am and peaks about 4pm. This cycle, it started some time around 4pm Thurs (estimate, was "high" by 8pm), and peaked about 7am Friday. I had a lot of EWCM on Weds, Thurs and Fri, it stopped by Sat AM. I also had a series of really sharp twinges approx 9pm on Fri night. Temp has risen a bit, but it always takes a few days, I expect it will go up more tomorrow.

We DTD on Tues, Thurs and Fri, but not Sat, by Sat EWCM was all gone and we were kind of tired having had sex every other day from CD12 (I expected to ovulate around CD17).

Imagine you can see where this is going... was ovulation likely Fri night, or some time Sat?

I see a lot of conflicting info around if conception chance on ovulation day, some seem to say it's low, others say it's the best day.. thoughts, for an obsessive Googler driving herself crazy?

The days brfore are the best so you are in with a great chance

My LH fluctuated a lot after CP so that is why I decided to use Mira. @Ella31 is right about using BBT to figure out where you are during the cycle.
If you think Mira is expensive, try using CBFM. It will detect a rise in estrogen ( the beginning of your fertile window). You will get a few days of “High”s due to high estrogen then you will get two days of “Peak” ( your best time to dtd) then a day of “High”.
I take oral BBT and also CBT( OvuSense) to help me to pinpoint ovulation.

I find ovucore good. I have the vaginal one. Great info there. Thanks for sharing

Thanks @LucyCL that’s interesting that you have found out about your estrogen and progesterone levels from it. I might give it a month or 2 without tracking and will then look into it to try & figure it out
