TTC after loss part 5

Ella31 · 04/08/2024 18:18

Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

@Onthedouble123 it socks that you can't enjoy the pregnancy but I have everything crossed for you and hopefully you can let your guard down and enjoy the fact your growing a beautiful little bean xxxx

Onthedouble123 · 07/08/2024 19:04

@DonnaWhat I'm still here. Feeling very rough 😩 which I'm hoping is a good sign but I know ultimately doesn't mean anything really. Booking appointment tomorrow. Hoping I get a scan appt pretty promptly after that because I'm already 10+2.
The feeling so rubbish does, to an extent, distract from the wider anxiety which is a silver lining I guess. Doesn't take it away completely but just taking each day at a time and plodding on.
I do worry about bonding (if God willing it does continue right through as a successful pregnancy). I can't bring myself to believe everything will be fine so almost won't let myself imagine the little bean in there nevermind them possibly ending up a real life baby! Hopefully at one point you do reach a stage where you can let the guard down and start to believe this is happening 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@MisssMarion congratulations on your BFP! That’s amazing news.

sorry I’ve been missing for a while, I still haven’t ovulated and I’m now CD21. I’m feeling really sorry for myself and not sure what else to do other than keep throwing myself into the gym to get my BMI as low as possible.
its now 33.5 down from 38.7 which I know is good so I keep telling myself that.
we have our review appointment with the fertility clinic at the end of the month following my drug trial. I have no idea what to expect from it so just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed they say they can help us with NHS IVF, if not I’ll be cancelled our Mauritius holiday to use the money from that.

@worldwidetravel2017 thanks, def not pregnant so must be hormone surges

@LucyCL @Ella31 i cried just yesterday! It’s a cruel journey to be on

Anyone experience any sort of tingling in their nipple during their cycle? Since yesterday I have been getting a tingling sensation just on one nipple. I’ve never suffered health anxiety before but I am finding myself worrying about things recently, and not sure if it’s normal or if anyone has experienced it. Wasn’t sure if it’s hormonal or something else

Can be hormones inclu pregnancy

Congratulations @Bellebg and @MisssMarionheres hoping for viable pregnancies for us x
I am 5+4 and so anxious, i spent 8 cycles upset as not even a late period and now I'm petrified it will all go wrong again. But trying to stay positive in the midst of it

It's so stressful. I'm 8 weeks and still in a constant panic. I've decided against an early scan too as I don't want to get my hopes up so holding out for my NHS one in two weeks (I'll only be 10 weeks as they've gone by my lmp but I ovulated later).

I hate the tww. It's the worst part of the whole month. I get it, you are holding back because to be honest it's harder giving in to these emotions every month. But you'll have that happy cry when the time comes.

I cry a lot tbh. But it's mostly grief. Not sure what I'll feel when I get a bfp again.

I am a sentimental person and I cry easily no matter how small the thing is. 2 MCs have just made me more emotional and teary. Maybe it is also because of the rise in progesterone in the luteal phase... Maybe I am really holding back!
You might feel anxious, nervous and relieved when you get a bfp again. I agree with @ThelastRolo20 Any emotions would be normal after having losses. x

Google literally has the best and worst stories. Think of this way. This thread wouldn't exist without losing our babies, which is worst case scenario. You wouldn't post a thread saying hey everyone I'm pregnant and everything is going great. So naturally when you search scenarios on Google, the worst appears.

Totally agree with you! I created my TTC after CP thread because I didn't know why it was happening and was hoping to hear from people about their experiences and suggestions. It also wouldn't exist either...

Grief never really leaves us, I think it just changes its presence over time. It's a reflection of the love you have for your boys ❤️

When you get your BFP you may feel any number of things, all of which will be totally normal xx

@LucyCL I don't even know why I do it to myself. I've looked on Google images to find similar to what I had and read their threads but can never find what I'm looking for. So frustrating 😫 I need to keep away from google 😆😆

@ThelastRolo20 @Ella31 I always have you ladies putting me back on planet earth. Always grateful for you 2 ladies.

I've had spotting in my previous cycles but a bit further on than 3dpo so it was a surprise to see it. Roll on 10 days.

I had my CP exactly 3 months ago. The 2WW of the previous two cycles I always had the urge to cry but it was never strong enough. As I am getting towards the end of the 2WW of the third cycle, I have this urge again but still not strong enough. I feel like it has always been deep inside my heart and I know exactly when it is going to happen. The day when I get the next BFP, I will release the urge of crying. Do any of us feel similar here?

3dpo and pink creamy discharge 🙄 apparently a sign of an unfertilized egg.

Definitely not @DonnaWhat I had that with my twins.

@LucyCL good ole Dr google. My worst enemy

Dr Google is so unlikely to be correct. Otherwise we'd all be experiencing it! ❤️

Hahaha, this is also my worst enemy. Since my 1st MC, I constantly googled anything which I didn't understand about ttc and it was really useful but not healthy. Nowadays I still google but only to read about other people's ttc experience. I never compare myself to other people.😂

I have never heard of pink creamy discharge being a sign of un fertilised egg. How did you know?

Thank you all so so much @DonnaWhat @LucyCL @Figtree11 @Onthedouble123 @Lovedatforme @ThelastRolo20 @LozElle

I don’t think it’s sunk in yet. I definitely didn’t imagine this when having the worst weeks of my life with the mmc earlier this year. Thanks for all the support on this thread and others.

@Figtree11 absolutely! I didn’t think my cycles were back to normal at all and my ovulation day was so different compared to before so there’s definitely a chance every month even if not ‘normal’. Keeping everything crossed for you.

@LozElle I had way fewer noticeable symptoms this time around versus my mmc pregnancy. The only symptom I had this time before bfp was my nipples looking different! Last time I had way more. Definitely feeling some today though.

Feel so nervous but so lucky. Sending all the positive vibes to everyone here, looking forward to following your journeys 🤍

Congrats @Bellebg I missed your initial post
