TTC after loss part 5

Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

How feint are you talking? It's an obvious line with colour and has thickness but still feint if that makes sense.

Oh my heart is bursting but I can't get ahead of myself either.

Honestly, this has made my day 🥰 mine were so faint at 8/9dpo. Unfortunately I changed phone so don't have the pics anymore but if it has colour then you're absolutely fine! You can do another test this evening if you do enough of a wee hold ❤️❤️

Hi just to introduce myself. Been on my TTC journey for 8 months now. I have one son who’s almost 3 now. Was hoping for a much smaller age gap but this journey has taken so much longer than I expected. Had a MMC at 14 weeks before my son and just last month had a chemical. I’m worried that I’m unable to conceive again as a result of an emergency C section when I had my son.

@Ella31 eeeek!!! This is such exciting news fingers crossed lines continue to progress xx

The fact it’s on all of the tests is a good sign. I had a super feint line at 9DPO and did a digital the next day and it was positive. sending you all the positive vibes xx

Thank you ladies, they are very faint though but all have lines and are thick. I'm going to do a digital tomorrow or Tues as it's faint at the mo.

A very tentative bit of news......but bfn yesterday morning. However, last night and early this morning. I've vfl on a clearblue 6days early, the fast one minute one, boots 6 days early and two of the easy at home and mom med strip test. I'm 9dpo.

omg I have my fingers crossed for you @Ella31 , that would be the best news!!

@Beanie14 AF just loves to throw the curve balls. I spotted from 10dpo right upto af myself last month. But it didn't look like this. Of course I caved and got bfn this morning but that's OK because I know it's early. I should be able to resist now until Tuesday. Busy day today at the air show to occupy myself and work tomorrow so I should be able to resist. Where are you in your cycle?

@Ella31 @Figtree11 How are you 2 getting on? Xxxx.

Beanie14 · 11/08/2024 08:41

@DonnaWhat this could deffo be implantation at 7dpo i would think too early for AF spotting. But then just when I think I know my cycle AF throws me off.
keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you xxxx

MisssMarion · 10/08/2024 22:35

@DonnaWhat I've got everything crossed for you it's a good sign! 8 dpo is very early though for testing so don't draw any early conclusion if bfn... like @Onthedouble123 said we're all here rooting for you!

Onthedouble123 · 10/08/2024 22:23

@DonnaWhat I totally get it. You take the self preservation route and we've got you for the hopeful one 💕 xx

DonnaWhat · 10/08/2024 21:55

@Figtree11 Probably Monday although I know I'll test tomorrow and get a bfn. 8dpo too early to show I think especially with that spotting.

@Onthedouble123 I'm not holding any hope, that way I won't be disappointed but 🤞

Onthedouble123 · 10/08/2024 21:06

Everything crossed its a good sign @DonnaWhat 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

7dpo so just trying not to read too much into it, but I still can't help myself 😆

I’d be the same! Really hope it’s good news. When do you plan to test?

DonnaWhat · 10/08/2024 20:47

Figtree11 · 10/08/2024 20:43

How many dpo did you say you were @DonnaWhat I did get discharge like that along with cramps last year before I found out I was pregnant. I don’t know what dpo I was though

DonnaWhat · 10/08/2024 19:10

I'm sorry ladies that I go a bit crazy in these 2ww but whilst at hairdressers I got a pinching feeling right side of my belly button and while checking cm I have pink discharge. It's not blood. I spotted for 5 days before AF last cycle but it wasn't like this? Pics are covered incase of tmi. I don't want to get my hopes up and if it means I'm spotting before af then so be it. It wasn't when I wiped or in my undies, it came out on my finger when checking for dryness / wetness. What do you ladies think? Even if it's af atleast I have it here to come back to in the future, incase I have it again. Sorry for the rant ladies.

@CadoAvo last had it done September. Loooooong overdue!

CadoAvo · 10/08/2024 11:58

@DonnaWhat thanks, that's good to know! I've to wait for a scan appointment in the post but was told it could be weeks so just have to see. Getting bloods done on Monday to check liver function and then will need to wait for the scan.

Enjoy your new hair! I'm getting mine done in 2 weeks and it's been 10 months since I last had it done so I know the feeling 😂

DonnaWhat · 10/08/2024 10:29

@LucyCL very true!

@CadoAvo ouch! My friend had her gall bladder out when pregnant and all was fine. She was in a lot of pain too! Hope you're feeling better soon. When's your scan?

7dpo for me - nipples keep going semi hard (never do for me) and woke up this morning to a stuffy nose. Not reading anything into it though just yet. On a plus note, halfway through the 2ww! Hope all you ladies have a wonderful weekend. Treating myself to new hair this morning, something I hadn't managed to get round to with being pregnant, miscarrying twice over.

CadoAvo · 10/08/2024 01:27

So I've just had a potential spanner thrown in the works. Since Tuesday I've had pain in my abdomen area (knew it wasn't pregnancy/ttc related as I was on CD4 then). Tuesday was severe pain, had to take the day off work, spent the day writhing in pain with painkillers not touching it. Telephone appointment with the GP was useless. The only thing that stopped me going to a&e with the pain was the fear I would be told it was trapped wind and I just needed a fart 😂

Pain has improved alot since however I still have pain in my ribs. Finally got to see a GP face to face today and she said it could be gallstones! So I've been referred for a scan. My first question was "can I still keep TTC?" and she said yes which is good. Although I've just done a lot of reading on gallstones and gallbladder removal surgery and I just do not need this on top of trying to have a baby. However I also never want to go through that pain again 😅 so will just need to see how things go

LucyCL · 09/08/2024 21:28

There is a picture I would like to share because I believe all of us can relate to this. Thinking of all of you here.

Figtree11 · 09/08/2024 21:02

@MisssMarion yeah I think that too about celebs - every week there’s a new announcement! I’m doing alright thank you. Every day feels like a week while waiting for some sign that everything is going back to normal. But just trying to get on with life as best I can. How are you?

MisssMarion · 09/08/2024 20:37

@Figtree11 For me it was even celebrities announcing they were pregnant. I found it so hard to process. It felt anyone and everyone was getting pregnant around me and it felt like a personal attack 😅 but then yes I tried to remind myself that I knew nothing about their personal lives the same way most people don't know about mine. But I would definitely remove myself from situations that felt too difficult. How are you getting on otherwise? I hope your cycle regulates soon.

@Ella31 that's great news about the scan. And what a compliment! 😂 Hopefully your progesterone comes back where they want it to be, but if not I would indeed think it might be an easy fix?
