TTC after loss part 5

Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

What a month ladies!

@DonnaWhat we were all so hopeful after your possible implantation spotting, I got everything crossed it's happening for you!

@Ella31 I think it's a good line, and I'm not sure if the colour really tells a lot? See attached mine at 15 or 16 dpo, it's not much darker. It worried me a bit then as I thought it would be darker since it was after my period was due, but then I took a CB digital this morning at 21 dpo (first one) and I got 3+! So I don't trust line darkness anymore... Fingers crossed it's a sticky bean!

Btw there's a thread for pregnancy after loss for those who want to join.

For those still waiting for their BFP, this thread seems to be bringing good luck (or at least good support and advice)... I'm sending baby dust to all (including myself ☺️).

Can you link me the thread
Oh fab, 3 weeks on the indicator is amazing.

11dpo ladies is this line strong enough. It was 2 hours after I peed as well.

It looks great! 🤞🏼

@Ella31 definitely more prominent. I won't test again til Thursday (or atleast try) scared a digital will say no at the min.

I can't quite get my head round it. Thankyou ladies 🥰

OMG OMG OMG! Ladies, i have a squinter at 10dpo!!!! I don't want to get too excited until Friday but there's potential!

I can see it too, big congrats!!

ExTriTrying · 13/08/2024 08:49

Congrats @DonnaWhat !!

Thanks @Figtree11 and @Ella31 . I don't have any more FRER... I ordered some but prob won't be able to test til 12dpo AM, which is no bad thing, as it should be fairly clear by then if there's anything I need to worry about.

Onthedouble123 · 13/08/2024 08:47

@DonnaWhat amazing!! Huge tentative congratulations to you!
This really is looking like a good month for the group 💕🤞🏻 xx

@ExTriTrying i know this is really rubbish advise as I’d struggle to take my own advice too, but maybe test again in a day or so. As they say hcg doubles every 48 hours which is why todays test won’t look much different to yesterday

Agree with @Figtree11
@ExTriTrying mine were the same as yours. They will darken.

Thank you @Onthedouble123 @DonnaWhat @Figtree11 .

I'm obviously not taking my own advice, and worried that my line doesn't look any darker this AM (pic is top 9dpo AM, middle 9dpo PM, bottom 10dpo). However, it came up quicker, and was more obvious straight away, and I noticed yesterday's ones got darker as the day went on. Eg, the pics from yesterday were taken about an hour after taking the test and it was almost impossible to see the line in a pic, but quite clear (I think!) now. So I'm going to try to get on with my day and not think about it too much!

@Ella31 completely understand, it's an anxious time. Thinking of you.

That has been the main reason I have started without tracking cycles at first because not paying attention to the middle of the cycle then end seems to come along quicker. It's usually only in the run up to my period that I check my dates. I have an obsessive and addictive personality which takes a bit of effort to keep in check and I'm trying to channel my inner zen when it comes to ttc!
We dtd on days 14 and 19 when we conceived this time and on days 14 and 16 when we conceived my daughter. So I guess I ovulate around then.
I was on holiday with the in-laws when missed my period which was a long 5 days wait to get back to the UK and do a test but i did get a dye stealer!

Before I lost my twins at birth 9 months ago, I had a chemical, I got pregnant with my boys straight after, the next cycle so do whatever you feel is right. My boys were perfect bar a freak twin condition at the end of my pregnancy

Just want to say thanks for all the reassurance ladies and apologies for harping on as I know it can't be easy seeing someone moan about something good. I'm watching attentively for all the good luck to come on this thread.

Thanks for the welcome ☺️ I can only imagine how ladies with positives are feeling; as much as I desperately want to be pregnant, I'm also petrified of it. There are some statistics on the Tommy's website which look really reassuring, they give you chances of successful pregnancy at every stage and it shows how quickly it shoots up. At the same time I look at it and then wonder why I was the 0.6%, but my logical brain can hang on to the positives! www.tommys.org/baby-loss-support/miscarriage-information-and-support/miscarriage-statistics

@ExTriTrying Yay! Congratulations, I can see the line in the tests.

@Ella31 That worry will never leave you, but you've got this. We're all absolutely rooting for you xxx

@Superscientist I started ttc straight away. I got pregnant 2 months after mmc but ended in a chemical pregnancy. I'm now 2 cycles from that and due on on Friday / Saturday. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself. I am guilty of this myself. The 2ww does something to me and sends me a bit doolally!
