TTC after loss part 5

Ella31 · 04/08/2024 18:18

Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

Beanie14 · 27/10/2024 11:13

Tentative congratulations @CadoAvo xxxx

sorry if I’ve missed anyone else’s xx

Beanie14 · 26/10/2024 20:24

Girls AF isn’t due for 9 days and I have brown discharge/spotting and cramps belly like AF is on the way. Anyone had this?

Lovedatforme · 25/10/2024 13:23

CadoAvo · 24/10/2024 08:29

Took two tests today which are both showing a faint line, but can actually see them without squinting! First was a cheap easy at home then dipped again with a CB early detection 🤞🏼

I can defo see those, fingers crossed ❤

@Ncl31 i didn’t sleep great either, but better than the night before. AF has started today for me, so feeling pretty down in the dumps. 46 day cycle, 55 day the one before, so who knows what the next one has in store.
Hopefully ovulation is on its way for you 🤞🏻

@moosey89 I’m sorry AF is here 😔 mine has progressed as the day has gone on too. Sat with a hot water bottle & watching tv while feeling sorry for myself.
It’s so tiring isn’t it. I’m approaching the 1 year mark from my 1st MC. And approaching the due date of my second loss. So November is not a good month.
I really am so sorry you are in this situation. It sounds like you have a lovely DP x

We’re nearing the end of this thread, so I’ll make a new one & try link it here

Regarding your super long cycle

Have u had your feretin checked ?

I had a mad length cycle once this yr
And once last yr

Both times my feretin was low - too low and my body needed iron iv

Good feretin is important 4 implantation and preg

@Starry11 I've had two MMCs with not one bit of spotting, this current pregnancy came with brown discharge which really threw me. Turns out it was a subchorionic hematoma which is very common, it's easy to jump to worst conclusion (I did), but could very well be fine.

I found I had episodes of it every few weeks until around 18 weeks x

moosey89 · 24/10/2024 19:59

Thank you @Figtree11 . Looks like AF is properly on her way now. It's so hard being left here when so many get their bfps and "graduate" from the thread. I'm feeling the same - exhausted and not sure how much more I can take. Me and my other half have decided to try until January and then have a conversation several months earlier than originally planned. I'm grateful he's so supportive and understanding around the impact it's having on me.

Ncl31 · 24/10/2024 17:46

@Figtree11 sorry I’m just catching up. im exhausted as I didn’t sleep properly again last night. I hope tonight will bring a better sleep.
how are you?
I had another episode of EWCM but my OPKs are really low. Today is only CD9 though so hopefully when DH is back tomorrow they’ll start to increase. I usually get my positive around 14-16.

Starry11 · 24/10/2024 16:54

Joining the thread, hope you’re all okay.

I’m 12dpo today and have been testing positive since 9dpo. 12dpo test photo is attached.

Im really worried as when I woke up this morning I had light brown stringy discharge (tmi sorry) and I’m worried this will be a chemical. I’ve had two miscarriages (dec23 and August 24) but they have been MMCs with no bleeding. My lines have been getting darker everyday but can’t shake the worried feeling now, and I was already feeling really stressed due to my previous mcs. Has anyone had line progression and brown discharge?

Spoke to EPU to ask for progesterone but unfortunately as I’m in Scotland (Edinburgh) they wouldn’t prescribe me as I’ve not had 3 losses, which was really gutting. I am taking baby aspirin though.

Thanks so much.

@Figtree11 you are a beacon of kindness for many here past and present who have had rough days so we'll do the same for you. You'll get your rainbow day xxx it's a horrible road to be on. I fell very fast with my mc's and my late twin boys. Took 8 months with no lines ever for this baby. It can take time. But until it happens I know those words are meaningless

Edited

Thank you, that made me well up. Couldn’t have done all this without you. And all you other ladies. The support & understanding makes the world of difference xx

@Ella31 @ThelastRolo20 @jellyfish2 thank you ladies. It’s so nice of you to check in with me still. Had a feeling it wouldn’t work this month, but I just feel so down. Not sure how much more of it all I can take.

@CadoAvo great news

@moosey89 i’m sorry, it truly sucks

@Superscientist thank you xx I’m sorry it feels like AF is on the way for you too

My period is late and teasing me with spotting but I know it's coming....it's killing me 😞 just want it here so I can move into a new cycle.

jellyfish2 · 24/10/2024 09:14

@Figtree11 I'm so sorry 😔 you've had such a tough road, I hope it gets easier for you and you get a BFP soon. Sending love 🤍

@CadoAvo congratulations 🥰

Superscientist · 24/10/2024 09:01

I'm sorry about AF @Figtree11 . So something nice for yourself, take a few days to feel disappointed and go from there.

Oh @CadoAvo I can see them too, fingers crossed things work out for you. It looks promising.

I'm due my period on Sunday starting to get a bit gurgly so not optimistic. I'm trying to stay busy.

Thank you @PearlCat I’ve just had a cry. I’m just fed up of this being my life for the past year with no end in sight. And worried about why I could get pregnant so easily before but not now.
I’m sorry that you are feeling similar. Sending you a big hug for Saturday xx

So sorry lovely - it can be such a long hard road xx

@Figtree11 sending a big hug and hope you are treating yourself. Also due tomorrow/Saturday and also feeling this as well. It's horrible, I sobbed my heart out yesterday with it being the due date Saturday too. How do we not live month by month.. totally exhausting...

Thank you everyone for your kind words and being so lovely.. having this community really helps. Xxx
