@BirthMumDreamer oh, I'm so sorry to read this, I've never used that brand myself but it must feel so cruel. Hopefully you're still in with a chance this month. I use the easy at home strips, I've read about some people getting evaps or indents with them but I've not experienced it. To have someone insinuate your post was a joke is rotten. There are some mean people on MN but you'd like to think they would stay out of the TTC threads.

Keep your head up gal, sending you a virtual hug!

Oh pack it in I asked a genuine question 🙄 I've seen plenty of jokers on here making fake posts to wind up genuine women ttc....why would I stay out of ttc threads when I've been part of that journey years... Have you actually looked at that line properly.... Be honest for Christ sake 🤦‍♀️

I could have written this. My false positives on Wondfo were ridiculously strong. I'm sorry Op, they're crap for this.

How has a batch of unreliable pregnancy tests evolved into this! Hilarious 🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

YouveGotAFastCar · 04/08/2024 14:29

Oh @BirthMumDreamer that must be so confusing. It's not a typical evap, it's got colour and came up in the time - it must be a defective test, or something, but I guess that doesn't matter to you.

I hope it happens for you soon 🤞

I’m so sorry OP, if that is an evap it’s a really nasty one, if not for all the other tests being negative from the same cycle I would have been convinced it was positive!

I found the best tests personally were the First Response ones, I ordered mine from Amazon when we were ttc! X

@Mrsttcno1 isn't it just :-( hopefully she will get her BFP soon enough x

Wifey1989 · 04/08/2024 14:20

@ThatMellowMoose actual decent advice. Thank you.

Because she attacked my children that's why the post has been removed by mumsnet it was that vile so if you don't know what I'm defending don't speak about it. @Wifey1989

Wifey1989 · 04/08/2024 14:15

Wow @Kellyaust you really are pretty vile. Why would you say to someone who is TTC that you have 'four kids, touché' that's just mean.
@BirthMumDreamer is obviously very very upset by todays tests and after having the same problem with these tests, I completely vouch for her! I was heartbroken but had a false negative too with wondfo. Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions and get your back up unnecessarily. Woman are supposed to look out for other women, not call their posts fake or brag about the fact you have children. I've had a look on Amazon myself and the reviews are right, my tests were the same from here, they obviously sell bad batches or something. The poor girl is not lying.
So get off your high horse and go look after your 'four kids' god help them!

ThatMellowMoose · 04/08/2024 13:59

OK OP.
I see that this is something that appears from the reviews to be common on this brand.
It must have been a real rollercoaster of emotions for you.
The accepted position though is that for an evap to show up with this much colour is vanishingly rare, had you not tried another brand in the same sample I would be suggesting that you may actually be pregnant.
I think I would leave it a few days and see if your period starts - try and blank out todays test and test less ( only when you are late) using better branded tests in the future.
Trying to conceive is full of disappointments, personally I tried for 5 years for my first and 3 years for my second. Early testing nearly sent me insane.

I’m sorry but can you no see that she’s misunderstanding me?!

there are other people who have had the same evap lines!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ am I banging my head against a wall here?

You’ve misinterpreted lots of the advice and opinions.

@BirthMumDreamer You got a positive test then tested again and nothing showed. The batch could be faulty. You could buy a different brand and wait a few days and test again. No one is being heinous or a cow. People are trying to understand how this could have happened. It’s very confusing especially for you but please don’t take it out on others.

CatchHimDerry · 04/08/2024 13:54

@BirthMumDreamer you’ve gone too far there, people were trying to help you
