Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

i hope you enjoy it sparkler - i so wish i could get away. If i go to dads for the weekend i may get him to babysit one night so me and dh can go and have a drink, but hey, we shall see! I will of course still be attached to MN over the weekend!

sparkly · 31/01/2005 09:04

Off to Barcelona on Saturday for 4 days! But, have to get through what is already shaping up to be an awful week at work (and it's only just after 9am) ... need a break so looking forward to that. DD starts half term on Friday and is spending next week at her dad's so it's just DP and I.

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 08:59

no plans here. DH working all week. Hope to go visit dad for the weekend but depends on DH work... bloody army indeed!

just waiting for tesco's to deliver the shopping then the whole joy of putting it all away. Jess currently in her cot trying to go to sleep but fighting it.... let em scream i say!

didnt know about your little theory M - not sure.

MJ case - GUILTY as charged!

Hulababy · 31/01/2005 08:56

I have heard something similar munnzieb; no idea if it works thoug.

CD4 for me so nothing to report! Have at least another 10 or more days before OV time.

Anyone got any exciting plans this week?

munnzieb · 31/01/2005 08:50

well apparently it can take up to 8 weeks for it to show as a BFP so if you can hold out a bit longer? is there any chance if you take a morning sample ur Dr will test for you at your apt?

I'm hopeful for twins (my dad is a b/b twin, my maternal uncles are b/b twins and two cousins are g/g twins, so hopefully cos they say it misses a generation! )

Well today is CD12 and I have a nice big 'O' on my persona! shame DH has since gone back bloomin army! lol.

I do have a question thou, (was thinking about it this morning in the car) - they say if the woman has the ahem O during BD roughly the same time as the man it helps as the spearms are pulled into the cervix, my Q is a) is this right and b) whispers I do, but normally a long time b4 DH - do u think this would be a prob? (sorry if ur eatin ur brekkie or it's tmi! lol)

ooh and what do we think of the MJ and never land case, I recon he did it!

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 08:41

really dont know love - i feel exactly the same and im cd15 today. I had a very light af 2 weeks ago - litteraly 1 proper day of bleeding and that was it.... im not sure if i am or not?! I refuse to test until next af due....

ernest · 31/01/2005 08:39

but I don't understand why it wouldn't be a stonking great dark pos line by now - had had my very light af nearly 2 weeks ago now. Logic says if I was pg I'd have a bfp, but can't explain the symptoms & the thirst, tiredness & milk are definitely not flights of fancy.

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 08:23

with my pregnancy with jessica i took 4 pg tests... the first 3 all had severe faint lines and werent top brand tests... the last one a few days later proved a definate line.

ernest · 31/01/2005 08:20

I was hoping for twins last time so I wouldn't have to go through this again, sod's law it'll be twins this time. That's be a shock for dh.

I'm still in never never land (not with MJ I should add).

SO, when was it I did the test that was neg but later pos? Can't remember, last week. Anyway, I'm now cdd 12 but still not 100% clear about last cycle. Just wish I knew 1 way or t'other. I did a 2nd test (can only get these ones that I don't really feel confident in, not 'big' make like 1st response or a boots or anything) anyway, 1 minute feel convinced am pg, but do not have definite, clear hpt. In fact last one I did (yesterday, was so unclear ie neg but maybe v. feint line if held right to left, not left to right lol).

But I feel - increasingly exhausted. very verey tired.
very thirsty (as did in prev pg)
a bit constipated (sorry) even tho drinking loads
breasts hurt a bit
if squeeze nipple get droplets of milk (sorry)
did I mention exhausted?
waking up in the night to wee

all this sounds familiar, but no bfp. It's really getting me down. Made doc appt but not till week on Thurs. Is it really possible to have all these symptoms & not be pg ///be 12 days into next cycle, & be pg but not get positive reading? I'm very confused & fed up.

pipsy1 · 31/01/2005 07:47

Twins would be fun - but not sure I'd cope. Am hoping like Jessicasmum for the angel next time! Opposite here though, got a girl and praying for another next time!

jessicasmummy · 30/01/2005 21:45

Exactly! We were adament we were having a boy first time round.... til she was born! Praying for a boy this time (PLEASE GOD GIVE ME A BOY!)

munnzieb · 30/01/2005 21:10

Hmm, I recon, but only if it's boys, I don't want girls - but Dh don't want boys so we're stale mate! either way as long as I have one, and it's healthy I don't care.

jessicasmummy · 30/01/2005 20:55

it makes you a very brave person but im sure you would cope very well hon!

munnzieb · 30/01/2005 20:39

well i'm still on for the twins option!, doesn't that make me mad, or just greedy??

jessicasmummy · 30/01/2005 20:01

jess is by no means good - im just a sucker for being pregnant! I loved it! Im hoping that because jessi s such a nightmare the next one might be an angel sent to make up for it!

Hulababy · 30/01/2005 19:25

Well, I think it is anyway!

Hulababy · 30/01/2005 19:25

pipsy - BD is baby dance

pipsy1 · 30/01/2005 19:12

By the way Jessicasmummy, I am very impressed that you are TTC and little J is only 6 months! Its taken me 17 mths to even consider it! She must be very goodx

jessicasmummy · 30/01/2005 18:27

i want to know that one too!!!!

pipsy1 · 30/01/2005 17:43

I obviously get the idea of what BDing is, but what does it stand for??

pipsy1 · 30/01/2005 17:41

Its great being here - TTC is a fun time but also a stressful time, and you can't really just go on about it to everyone in RL because its pretty boring to them. On here you can whinge and whine and rant and rave and ask questions. Its fab and we're all in teh same boat. Thanks for all the advice everyone

sparkly · 30/01/2005 15:13

CD16 here and made the most of having DP at home since Friday! He's gone now - won't be back till Friday so any chances for this month have passed. Am hoping that given last month was 32 days we may just have made it. Trying not to obsess this month as much but know that in a week I will be! We're off to Barcelona next weekend so won't test until back from there at the earliest.

Welcome to all the new ttcers - am also fairly new here myself but everyone is so supportive, I miss them when i'm away from my pc for more than a day!

jessicasmummy · 30/01/2005 14:34

cheers mate.... i aint got a clue and my brain still isnt working! i think the alcohold diminished some of my brain cells! I didnt think i had that much to drink last night, but DH has reliably informed me that it was enough to pass out last night! Shouldnt have done it if TTC but hey, it was a one off!

munnzieb · 30/01/2005 13:43

Cycle Day hon. You go pounce girl!

jessicasmummy · 30/01/2005 13:42
