Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Aww Sparkly, it's too early to tell yet!...I'm just as bad if not worse than you though, trying to stop myself testing - I'm making my dh buy the test so that it's not too early, I've also demanded a pink one because ds's test was a clearblue and he was a boy so... how sad!

sparkly · 06/01/2005 20:16

RudyD, am now officially as bad as you because I tested and it was a BFN and believe it or not I'm totally down about it. Only the first month of TTC but I guess I had hoped for a miracle.

Sallie - when I was pg with my dd, I actually had severe cramping for the first 3 weeks or so. That said, I didn't know I was pg because I had given up all hope. I didn't worry because I didn't know, IYSWIM. I hope it eases soon so you can stop worrying and start enjoying being pregnant.

Hulababy · 06/01/2005 20:14

Gosh - how much chat today; can only just about catch up!

Bonkerz - did you get my CAT?

Still too early in cycle for Ov yet, so quiet here.

RudyDudy · 06/01/2005 20:12

Sallie - when I was pg with DS I had cramping the first couple of months around the time that AF would've been due and the Dr told me this was quite normal. But hope for your sake it passes soon and you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Still so excited for you!

RudyDudy · 06/01/2005 20:10

sparkly - in that case none of us are grown up!! lol. If it was me I would have tested already if I'd bought them so you're already doing better than me!

oooh, jedds - fingers crossed for you. So exciting, every day from now is one longer than last month. Sending you lots of babydust ~~~~~~~~~~~*

sparkly · 06/01/2005 19:10

Have resisted so far because I know it's too early but after Sallie's post about being just a day ahead of me and getting a BFP I feel like I could and it would be ok. CD25 and my cycles are 28-30 days but don't know exactly when O'd as not using an opk at the moment.

I feel stupid even posting this because I know I should be grown up enough not to do it till Monday. ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!

jeddah · 06/01/2005 19:01

Tan! I wish you all the luck in the world....sounds so positive

hunkermunker · 06/01/2005 19:01

Cockenzie, just read your post of 12:08:07 on 5th Jan - sorry for the delay in replying!

Yes, lovely to be on a thread where someone else is also ttc while bfeeding. You weren't ignorant re clomid - I wish I'd not needed to know anything about it! But I'm glad it worked

As for oving, I have no idea when I do (even if - cycle is all over the place...). I'm actually waiting for a date for a hand operation, so won't be properly ttc until after that (though if I get pg before, I'll just not have the operation - it's not life-threatening!). Hopefully it should be in the next couple of months - and I've just realised it'll mean typing with one hand...slow MNing - eek!!

jeddah · 06/01/2005 18:54

sorry posted twice....dam computer internet connection is crazy!

Sparkly....how many dpo are you?

jeddah · 06/01/2005 18:52

welcome ellimum its great here!

Hester how many dpo are you?

cockenzie have you that persona bought yet?

me ... I am cd27 and ov on cd19-20 and so I am 7-8dpo!
Af arrived this time last month after ov same cd (small hope building!)

Dare I talk about testing!...... I will leave it until 14dpo thats if af hasn't arrived!

greenbug · 06/01/2005 18:50

Sparkly, test now and if it's BFN then blame it on the timing (afterall it's too early yet as you are only CD25). Then make sure you hide the second one - give it to your dh or berry it in your clothes, and take it out in a weeks (eternity) time!
but if it's BFPOSITIVE, just imagine how sweet and beautiful that + would look!!!!

Best of luck!

jeddah · 06/01/2005 18:48

welcome ellimum! its great on here

cocenzie have you bought your persona yet???

Hester how many dpo are you?

I am cd27 and ov on cd19-20 so I am 7-8dpo and this time last month af arrived after ov same cd (small hope building!!!!)

Dare I mention testing!!!!!!!! think I will leave it 14dpo if af hasn't arrived that is!!!

Canadianmom · 06/01/2005 17:52

Sorry too quick to post! I am not sure about the price and my advice about timing of tests is crap because I always wait WAY too long for fear of a BFN and because the tests are too expensive to waste... someone with better advice should be along shortly!

Canadianmom · 06/01/2005 17:51

Oh Sparkly! I am excited for you! Everytime I have bought a twin pack I have not needed the second test. Hope you get that bfp!

sparkly · 06/01/2005 16:27

I've done it. Ok, I've bought a clearblue test (well a twin pack actually! (on sale at Tescos for £7.95 - good or bad price?)). I shouldn't test till Monday though, should I? God, this is so frustrating - I just want to know. CD25 is too early to test but the desire is sooooo great. HELP!

cockenzie · 06/01/2005 16:10

CD13.iam trying to stop bf for hormon sake but dd doesnt want to stop.she isnt exclusively bf but probably enof to mess my system up.i feel so guilty for saying that though

Fastasleep · 06/01/2005 16:07

Hey cockenzie, I still completely believe that breastfeeding screws everything up in that department! Without any signs of it being different in my case... I'm sure you'll conceive just fine ...

It's funny how you don't remember things after starting to breastfeed - I mean I still got damper at a certain time every month but I wasn't getting O pains, I didn't even remember that I used to get them until I got them the month I stopped breastfeeding! I was merrily having periods on time and they were just as heavy... but my eggs were hiding!

MINNIE1 · 06/01/2005 15:57
