Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

jeds- U have more controll than I! apparently mars/ Jupiter are in line at the mo which is good for baby m,aking (or so I believe) so the planets r in ur favour!

Cockenzie - (((((hugs))))) try not to put too much pressure on ur body hon. I find the more you do that the less it will work for you, iycwim. I know it's easy for me to say (and remind me of this nexst month when i'm dyin to test) but if u relax things will happen of ytheir own accord.

(got to get back now, will post again on monday - god I miss broad band! ) good uck to weekend testers.

Aww Hester you're so sweet, I can't wait to have nice clothes but knowing me I'll be on here when I'm 35 because I'll be broody again!

GOOD LUCK JEDS!!!! Your dh sounds like mine - adorable!! Mine's out buying me pink tests as we speak lol... Good luck to Sparkly too, you know it can take weeks after your period was due to show up on a test sometimes! (I'm testing on Saturday, because I think my dh is a good luck charm and I need him standing outside the loo!)

Cockenzie, try not to get too frustrated - everyone always says that breastfeeding is the natural contraception, it's up to you and your baby when to stop it and I bet you'll get cm a plenty when you do! Just think that you've done your baby so much good breastfeeding this long

Looks excited well I'm off to Asda to buy cheap clothes! Yay!

MINNIE1 · 07/01/2005 10:31

cockenzie, Sending you ((((hugs))))

runtus · 07/01/2005 10:02

Munzie, I had the same thing when I first started taking the Agnus Cactus stuff, it did eventually go away but maybe cut down on the number you are taking a day.....

cockenzie · 07/01/2005 09:42

i am so angry and p**d off with my body. how can i have decreasing cycles and not hav a 28 days this month? how cant i detect any LH today CD14? why have i got no mucus? why have i got no temp rise?THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING THAT I WANT TO FORGET THE WHOLE THING BUT I CANT!!!

sory girls for my rambling. i am just going mad today and dont know whats going on with my body.

Sallie · 07/01/2005 09:19

Loads of luck Jeddah!
Sparkly - I echo what everyone else has said about your test - its probably way too early. I don't know why I got such an early result. Didn't get the same with my previous pregnancies. So best leave it until at least the day af is due or maybe later. As I said, the predictor tests I used were definite BFNs, no faint dots or anything. But the Boots digital and FR were definite BFPs which shows you how things vary. Part of me still doesn't quite believe it - probably because of the BFNs. AF would normally arrive today so will be nervous all day!!!
Best of luck to all ttc this month or going through various treatments. Really do hope that 2005 brings us all lots of success in the ttc department. Hoping that there will be a few more joining me on the sept 2005 thread soon.

Oh, excited now. Thank you. Can you let me know how much P&P was so I can put cheque in post.

bonkerz · 07/01/2005 09:15

hualbaby! Have put tests in post today! Hope they help! Goodluck!

hester · 07/01/2005 09:14

jedds, your dh sounds so sweet. What a lovely man.

Sparkly, so sorry about your bfn but IT IS TOO EARLY. Try again in a few days!

cockenzie, lots of fertile cm is a great sign that you are ovulating, and lack of it MAY indicate a fertility problem. But there are plenty of women who don't get much fertile cm and do still conceive. Some of my friends have sworn to me they never spotted any and still got pg really easily. So don't worry about it overmuch. It may well be affected by bf. You can try to increase it by drinking lots of water (if you are dehydrated it reduces the moisture in all parts of your body) and some women swear by grapefruit juice, cough syrup and evening primrose oil (wouldn't recommend the cough syrup if you are bf).

fastasleep, lovey, I've been there with the holey clothes and I sympathise. But your day in Hobbs boots will come - by the time you are my age, your children will have grown up and left home and you'll be basking in freedom and disposable income. I was about to say, while I am at home with a screeching tot with no money to call my own. But then I worked out that by the time you are my age, MY child (the one not yet conceived!) will have grown up and left home! Eek, that is so scary! Jedds, marinda, help!

Hulababy · 07/01/2005 09:08

Good luck with the waiting jeddah

Fingers crossed for all the other early testees too.

Enjoy your weekend sparkly.

CD10 here so not much to report.

munnzieb · 07/01/2005 09:04

hiya again, I've just created a chat thread mainly for u guys here.

just to say.. thanks

munnzieb · 07/01/2005 08:59

morning all, not much to report here, apart from the girls the factory side now think i'm weird as i've just spend 5 mins in the loo, cos i feel really sick and brekki went right thru (i know TMI!) - think it's prob to do with teh angus catus, can u take too much of it? i'm using a diff one this month (it's 500MG per tab, - the last ones were 400, the 400 said two tabs twice daily and this 500 says one tab twice daily, but i've been taking two i know v silly but I want to hurry AF along - any other ideas on hurryin her up?) so now it's back to feelin sick and wishin I didn't take the damn things!

Jeds - OOh I'm soo excited for u hon. a whole week to wait thou, (do u think u'll be able to last that long?) is it normally best to wait till 14dpo or can it be done b4, (well obviously it can be but would it show BFP if u were pg?)

Cockenzie - not sure on the mucus thingy, isn't it if u have none/little u can still get PG but it's harder? i'm sure I've read that somewhere. (the first 4 months I was like u, lookeda and read everything on the net, would sit there for hours researchin! lol, now thou i'm usin the persona and forgetting the rest!)

ooh and DH is def back next fri, and is going to put me back on the interent at home! yay! lol

cockenzie · 07/01/2005 07:33

question for yous: if i dont get any mucus, would it mean that i dont produce any regardless i am bf? and if i dont produce any cm, then wee fishes cant swim and conceive??

is mucus to do with hormons?if you dont get any you dont ov?

cockenzie · 07/01/2005 07:11

hi ladies

CD14.i dont understand it. i was expecting today a rise in temp and a line on stick detecting LH.well, NOTHIHG happening. i am puzzled

ok. i will put an add in mumsnet 'wanted ' section for a persona.i dont know what to think about my body to be honest. mayb i dont ov this month?

sparkly - hope u get that BFP
hunker - good luk with ur op.how often do u bf (night/day)?

sparkly · 06/01/2005 23:39

Not too hopeful now for Monday but who knows. I guess because I just got pregnant with dd after all my previous fertility problems that maybe I thought it could happen so easily again. DP is much more relaxed about it all but he's never been through this before. Anyway, we're off to the Lakes this weekend for a little break so hopefully that will take my mind off everything. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I will be testing first thing Monday if no AF so watch this space.

jeddah · 06/01/2005 22:36

where is everyone?????????

jeddah · 06/01/2005 22:19

COCKENZIE DON'T BUY A PERSONA FROM BOOTS!!!!!! TOO MUCH DOSH!

PUT AN ADD ON MUMSNET IN THE 'WANTED' SECTION! SOMEONE MAY HAVE FINISHED WITH THEIRS AND WILL SELL IT TO YOU. yOU WILL PROBABLY GET ONE FOR HALF THE PRICE!

I HAVE JUST HAD A LOOK ON EBAY AND THEY HAVE NONE! AT THE MO

jeddah · 06/01/2005 22:14

nothing wrong with geordies though!

jeddah · 06/01/2005 22:13

sorry not turning into a geordie 'about' even.

jeddah · 06/01/2005 22:12

Rudy thanks honey for your thoughts!

I really am trying not to think abut it, though this is hard.

arhhhhhhhhh! my dh is so cute, came home from work, had a lovely tea together and we were sat by the fire and I said very quietly....'I should have had my period today' and he said 'yes I know I didn't want to say anything to temp fate been thinking of it all day' god love him! He's so despirate for a child.

Sparkly it sounds like it is too early yet give it another few days.

RudyDudy · 06/01/2005 20:56

LOL sparkly Though I hate to tell you that you have to test much earlier to be as bad as me . Fingers crossed for you that it is just too early. Suggest you give the other test to DH until Monday!

Fastasleep · 06/01/2005 20:42
