Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Hulababy · 31/01/2005 14:40

I see. So is it your birthday soon then? Mine's on the 12th. We are hoping to move house on the 14th though so may well spend it packing!

cockenzie · 31/01/2005 14:38

huntermunker, whats your star sign?
do you also b/feed at night?

HunkerMunker · 31/01/2005 14:34

DH is an Aquarian

I love Ikea - think the reason you spend far too much is because there are so many 'bargains'. But then you buy ten things that cost a fiver each...plus what you went in for in the first place...!

On CD 20 - no idea how long my cycle is though as breastfeeding 9mo DS is messing with it (well, PCOS messed with it before that!).

As for twins...not sure I'd put my hand up for them if there was a choice, but am sure I'd love it if I did have them!

ernest · 31/01/2005 14:31

back from ikea. boys love the play bit. ds3 comes round with me, so not at all stressful. worst bit is finding parking space. Only tut I got was play bed for ds's monkey. He will be thrilled, about to let him build it, I'll be supervisor, dh will not be so impressed. not masculine

cockenzie · 31/01/2005 14:30

I am an aquarian too!! and we are the best hon!!

Hulababy · 31/01/2005 14:22

cockensie - yes I am Why? How????

cockenzie · 31/01/2005 14:21

munnzieb hon.how long is dh staying with you?

cockenzie · 31/01/2005 14:20

Iwill have the twins!!! hehehe anything.twins will actually save me a pregnancy as i am aiming for 3 babies. mayb 4?

triceratops · 31/01/2005 14:17

cd18 - been working very hard this week
I would love to go to Ikea but I can't go with my dh as he always has a tantrum (he doesn't like putting the drawers together and he gets shirty about me buying tat) and I can't go with my best mate as we always end up with more stuff than will fit in the car (mostly tat).

When we all get pg who wants twins? Or is it bad luck to talk about it?

cockenzie · 31/01/2005 14:17

munnzieb · 31/01/2005 13:51

Do u believe it, DH's wages r right, i'm off shopping for a new microwave, kettle and toaster (hopefully I won't blow this lot up!) lol.

JM - Will have to find some jokes for you hon, althou I think i'm joked out for hte mo, theres some further down the thread to cheer you up!

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 12:35

im depressed.... someone cheer me up! i want to know if im pg or not, but cant test yet - too early. feeling like i want to curl up and sleep but dd is driving me mad!

pipsy1 · 31/01/2005 11:06

I've got to do an Ikea trip too. hoping DD will enjoy it otherwise it'll be grim. Unless I leave her with grandma maybe? But as u say JM, always spend far more than necessary. thats why have been putting it off for ages. Could do with a treat though, feeling tired and low

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 10:15

I WANT TO COME! My nearest ikea is an hour and a bit away and i cant do it on my own - id spend too much money! Have fun!!!!

ernest · 31/01/2005 10:14

I'm about to treat my boys to a trip to ikea......

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 09:38

I have no willpower.... after jess screaming for 20 minutes i have now got her up - why do they do that? U give them a bottle, they fall asleep in your arms, they wake up as you lay them down and then continue to scream. Once you get them up they are playing happily on the floor while you are too engrossed in MN to care what they are doing anyway!!!

munnzieb · 31/01/2005 09:26

So I hear Ern, or at least this is what my friends dr told her, he also said that the OPK are normally a couple of days out (thou I don't know if that's right), u guy's a moving fast again! lol,

I have to get to work now, so will pop back in later on.

munnzieb · 31/01/2005 09:21

no major plans here, (starting my swimming again tonight, I really need to loose weight!) Tesco.com are coming tonight. (did u see the code JM if you spend £75.00?) This week I have weds off to wait in for the gas man, and the hotpoint man, (as my Dishwasher/ boiler are knackered!) so apart form that i'm doing zilch, nada! lol. - I'm havin the week off all DIY until next week, then it's another coat on teh bathroom, (and clean that up) then sort out the skirting in the kitchen and give that a paint. (hopefully i'll get a date for my new carpets as well)!

Hope Tania/Ratnus are getting on OK. How long was R in OZ for?

ernest · 31/01/2005 09:16

missed your message. thanks for that jm how do you have such will power? when you next due? Is that right, munzieb - 8 weeks!

Re o have heard that too, but otoh, I think the stress of trying to coodinate would outweigh the benefits iyswim. Go with the flow I say

jessicasmummy · 31/01/2005 09:14

i know MJ is guilty, but he wont get caught - too big a personality. As far as im concerned they should lock him up and throw away the key. He should never be allowed enar children again, and definately not his own!

Hulababy · 31/01/2005 09:14

Sounds lovely Sparkly. Have a fab time.

I have no plans for most of week until Friday - going to a ball Friday night which will be great

Half term for me isn't until Mon 14th Feb - day we may well be moving - fingers crossed.

ernest · 31/01/2005 09:11

we've got school holidays this week, so desperately trying to come up with exciting plans to a. stop kids killing each other
b. try to stop my head exploding

not doing so well so far.

fwiw, I don't reckon we'll see a successful prosecution. Look at OJ Simpson. If celebs can get away with that..... otoh, I hope I'm wrong.
