Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

I meant to say that I am going in for it this afternoon - so talk about speed!

triceratops · 12/01/2005 11:09

Congratulations Kiwicath - I am so pleased for you.

I know I shouldn't test as it is still too early and it makes no difference at all one way or another but I want to know [scream in frustration icon].

Plus I have house guests this weekend and I need to know how much booze to lay in. If AF arrives I will need a couple of extra cases!

I can't belive how much money I have wasted this month in negative tests which never had any chance of showing things anyway.

Bella23 · 12/01/2005 11:07

hello ladies, well quick update. I went to the clinic this morning and I have been booked in for a D&C thingy. I am really pleased that I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel!
The doctor was realy nice and said that I don't have to worry about waiting a month and that theyonly advice that for ease of dating etc. She said the same had happened to her and that she conceived again straight away without waiting a month so really made me feel positive!
Anyway thanks for you support and I can see there is someone who will be graduating - Kiwicath- ye ha !

Fastasleep · 12/01/2005 11:07

Aww hester I'll be no help on the choccy front I've just had a stupid crap morning and I feel like throwing myself out of the window to be honest!! At abgout 5 months gone I had a craving for fish and chips, ate loads, it was horrible....horrible [sicky face]

hester · 12/01/2005 10:21

Kiwicath, I don't believe it! Your short stay with us obviously worked a miracle - congratulations! Send us lots of babydust, please, and I hope some of us will join you on the 'expecting' thread.

Big glass of low-alcohol champagne for you!

Had stinker period pains yesterday, and a teensy spot of pale blood today, so it looks like af is on her way. May need some help from you girls to get through the next 48 hours without doing serious chocolate damage...

What's the difference between a pregnant woman and a lightbulb?

You can unscrew a lightbulb.

(I kthank you new york! lol, bit of a groner that one!)

Please excuse the rudness of this one - not my words! - In fact I'll edit the rude words out.

A sailor and a pirate walk into a bar. They sit down next to each other, get to talking and their chat soon turns to their sea adventures. The sailor tells of his days fighting wars with the Navy, and the pirate tells of robbing ships and killing his enemies with the other pirates.
The sailor notices that the pirate has an eyepatch, a hook and a peg leg and asks, ?How did you get the peg leg??
The pirate replies, ?When I was thrown off my ship and flated for two days until my crew rescued me, my leg was bitten off by a shark as I was being pulled out of the water.?

The sailor, impressed, says, ?Wow. That's very exciting. But how about the hook??
The pirate smiles, shining the hook a bit, ?When I was swordfighting with a pirate from our enemy ship for treasure, he took it right off.''
The sailor's eyes were wide with awe at how badas this pirate was, and he asked,
How did you get the eyepatch?? ?Well,?says the pirate, shifting in his seat a bit, ?a seagull st in my eye.?
The seaman looks puzzled: ?You lost an eye from gull s
t??
The pirate sighed and shook his head. ?It was my first day with the hook.?

He he he.
