Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Morning all,

Feel free to call me a weird old boot but I'm feeling happy today as I've just remembered that last night I dreamt about one of my dear friends dying...now the only problem is that I can't remember whether he actually died or not or was just dying...

For those who don't recall when pg with DS but before I knew I dreamt DH had died and when my bf was pg I dreamt about someone else dying. If you believe in all that guff (which I like to when it suits ) then it's a very common thing.

RudyDudy · 16/01/2005 22:54

'busy' we can only hope though ironically I think it was us two who were due to be 'busy' this weekend

though we can guess where munnzie is!!!

Hulababy · 16/01/2005 22:52

Was thinking same Rudy. It is so quiet this weekend. Where is everyone????

RudyDudy · 16/01/2005 22:49

thanks Hula.

Where have the rest of you been this weekend??? Hope there are going to be some interesting stories tomorrow .

Hulababy · 16/01/2005 19:31

rudy - pick my new car up on Saturday next weekend . Dh went to test drive the new Golf GTi Turbo today too - he is hoping for one maybe April/May time - has long wait time.

CD18 here and still so pleased that FF found OV for me

I get OV cramping around the time, and just after I think I have OVd. This month it was very noticable and at times pretty sore!

RudyDudy · 16/01/2005 19:02

CD 22 here and I have AF style cramping - anyone any idea what that is all about??? May have Ov'd in the last couple of days - could it be connected?

RudyDudy · 16/01/2005 19:01

Dear Partner - there is a list of some of the acronyms used on the site if you look at the headings on the top of the page. Though not all the ttc ones are on there so ask away if there are any you're not sure of.

Good luck for this month - hopefully you won't need FF

pickledonion · 16/01/2005 14:52

CD13 here and all is well - not using ff yet going to see how we go this month at least that can be the next step.

can some one explain what DP is please?

RudyDudy · 16/01/2005 11:58

How exciting! Lots of luck to you for this month Hulababy.

Nothing has detected I Ov'd this month (persona or OPK) but I did have EWCM (though now thinking I imagined it!) and so hopefully that means something. Now just 3 weeks to wait and see. I hate long cycles

LW - Hula is right, it is hard but we are all in it together here so come and rant away all you want.

btw Hula - how's the new car?

I'm supposed to be having an intensive revision session today so if you see me on here again please tell me to bugger off!

Hulababy · 16/01/2005 10:44

Yeah!!! FF has detected OV for first time in 3 months: here So pleased about the simplist of things. I know

Hulababy · 16/01/2005 10:42

(((hugs))) littleweed. It is so hard, hang in there.

littleweed · 16/01/2005 10:24

I am an evil horible woman. Have rampant PMs adn feel really under teh weather. AF was due last wedbnesday and hasn't shown which means my cycle is still really out of order after 4 months since teh mc. which means i can't start TTC again just yet as I don't know when teh right days will be. DH is away on and off for teh next few months which is pi88ing me off as that will proably coincide with the dates (if I ever have Af again!) Oh and a friend has just announced that she is PG and she;s still bf. I'm really pleased for her but I just want to throw myslef on teh floor, haev abig paddy and yell 'it's not bloody fair' at the top of my voice! sorry rant over will try and be nice rational normal member of society again now. LW

marinda · 16/01/2005 10:18

Jeddah, Hester I have started the old duffers thread - please browe and join if you like it !

RudyDudy · 15/01/2005 23:11

*one??? sorry, should have been won

RudyDudy · 15/01/2005 23:11

well DH has abandoned me for MOTD (just cus his team one for once!) so I thought I'd pop by and check up on everyone...

sparkly - so sorry about AF. If it helps then I found the first month of ttc the longest as you seem to have massively higher expectations. I'm now into month 4 and I have found that the amount of time I go loopy for before AF is diminishing - though not helped by AF being later and later.

Hello moschops - thanks for the babydust . Glad things are going well and that you are feeling less sick.

Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend

Tania2 · 15/01/2005 21:43

Sorry Sparkly
Best of luck for next month.

Hulababy · 15/01/2005 20:09

Sorry about AF Sparkly.

sparkly · 15/01/2005 20:07

The waiting is over for this month - AF arrived tonight At least I'm not waiting any longer and can start thinking about next month. I know this was only my first month of ttc but it seemed so long and took more out of me than I remembered it doing. DP is also away a bit next month so not sure if we'll get the right window of opportunity.

moschops · 15/01/2005 11:43

xxxxxxxxxxxx*

xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx

Tania2 · 15/01/2005 11:30

Oh Tessie so good to hear from you hope you are well and keeping up with your waxing .
Thanks for thinking of me. You will have to fill me in on how things are going i have been lurking sometimes on your due in thread wishing i was there with you.

Fastasleep · 15/01/2005 11:00

(one thing I did remember from before you all gabbed lots - munnzie; I hope you're having a great time with your dh!)

Fastasleep · 15/01/2005 10:58

Hey girls I'm sorry I've missed out on loads, no time to catch up at the moment! I've had a weird week, but but I'm here to say I'm on cd 1 as of today :O which means I'm within my normal cycle length, which is better than last months 46 day one!

I'll try to catch up later, after I've done some (ugh) decorating and eaten all my left over xmas choccy and had a bottle of wine lol, since there's no worrying about me being pg

I hope you're all feeling well and lucky! See you girls later

marinda · 15/01/2005 10:42

Hi Wifeof- very similar situation to you - been TTC for 7 months and no joy! I am 38 years young and concieved DS (3.8) so quickly I did not have time to draw breath ! DH also having swimmers tested and I also have appointment with gnae quack next month ! Waiting for AF and already have symtoms!

Did a foolish thing last night - got so drunk and behaved badly ! Feel embarrased rhis morning when DH related this to me !

Love to you all

Tessiebear · 15/01/2005 10:38

Tania - havnt been on MN for about a month (computer broke) - just read that you are starting IVF - really hope it works for you - have got everything crossed TessieXX

Wifeof · 15/01/2005 10:27

(((((hugs)))))) everyone, hope you find some solace this weekend.

Just had to share my positive news with you - dh has agreed to get his wrigglers counted!! (He had mumps 4 years ago and we were wondering why nothing has happened in the 7 months ttc even though I'm almost 40) At least if it's bad news we can cope with it and move on. I'm so relieved, I was get desperate not knowing....

Sparkly - any news yet?

Wifeof xx
