Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Looks like we three are all waiting round the same time this month. AF for me is due anytime between Tuesday and Saturday next week.

RudyDudy · 22/01/2005 13:25

oh bless morningpaper - please don't rob the old dears! Have you tried medisave.co.uk - you can bulk buy tests to fuel your habit.

I'm a fellow sufferer and come 10dpo am sure I will be succombing too, though will try very hard to wait until 14dpo. At least with the bulk bought tests I don't feel as wracked with guilt for wasting lots of money. HPTs are sooo expensive! Good luck for this month though- it really is too early to tell.

morningpaper · 22/01/2005 11:42

Day 23 and 10 dpo - did ANOTHER test today which was BFN, have no self control at all. Felt really sick this morning but that was probably the bottle of wine last night... I'm practically at the stage of stealing money from old ladies to fund my pregnancy test habit.

Did Clearblue Digital - why don't they do refills? It's such a money-maker, I wonder how much profit they make on each test. I bought them from Boots which had a notice saying 'buy one get one half price' but they came up full price and I was too embarassed to argue with the spotty 19 year-old boy at the till.

RudyDudy · 22/01/2005 09:02

Hula - I'm CD28 and 7/8 dpo so will be right behind you with the testing! Wish I was doing temps so I had something to distract me! Very optimistic about yours - good luck

A little rough myself this morning so off out for a big family breakfast now.

Hulababy · 22/01/2005 08:34

CD25, 9DPO. Temps up still - but little else to add really in that front yet!

marinda · 21/01/2005 20:00

Enjoy Yourself Runtus !

RudyDudy · 21/01/2005 17:44

OMG munnzie - hope it doesn't turn into a stressful one for you. If it does just make some excuse about checking the windows or something and sneek onto MN to have a rant.

I'm off for yet more panto tonight (and Sat and Sun!) so here I go again Oh no you don't Oh yes I do! blah, blah blah...

munnzieb · 21/01/2005 15:44

rantus have a fab time.

Rudy - i'll let u know, they got here at 12.00 and have already been in the local.

MINNIE1 · 21/01/2005 14:04

runtus,
Have a great time on oz.. You lucky sucker--- as my DN says to me...

MINNIE1 · 21/01/2005 14:03

Will do the same, Will be thinking of her today. xxxxxxxxx

RudyDudy · 21/01/2005 13:50

Me too runtus. Very for sweetheart but don't worry we will look after her if she is around. Meanwhile, you have a fantastic holiday and we'll try to have a load of BFPs for you when you get back

Morningpaper - lol - nice to know there is someone here who tests even early than me! I'm being quite restrained at the moment as I am probably 6/7 dpo. Obviously desperate to test but know it would be a BFN and am trying to be good this month. Might even try and wait the ful 14dpo

Have fun with the MIL munnzie

2 exams down now and only one to go. roll on next thursday!

Hope everyone else is having a lovely Friday. We're having our house valued this afternoon so send positive big number thoughts this way!

Hulababy · 21/01/2005 13:11

Will do runtus. I am so sorry for Sweetheart; feel really upset for her

Have a great time in Oz.

runtus · 21/01/2005 13:09

Hello all, just a quick note before I jump on the plane to OZ (god I like saying that!). Just been for my latest round of blood tests, so hopefully some nice results when I get back and see the Consultant. Fingers crossed for me girls that they show something dead easy to mend!

I'll be thinking of you all while I'm away and I want a big glut of BFP for me to read when I get back. Having said that, the rate you lot gossip it might take me another month to catch up!

Good luck everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought I'd let you know I sent Sweetheart a little text last night wishing her all the best for the induction today, she is gutted (as you would expect) but holding it together for now. Can I ask you all to keep an eye on here, if she makes an appearance on here while I'm away? Really sorry to be going at such a horrible time for her...........Life just isn't fair sometimes is it?

munnzieb · 21/01/2005 12:47

MP don't worry at all, I did a test (knowin full well I wouldn't be PG as DH was away, it was a BFN but just had to make sure! lol. still it's one less for this coming month to use! lol). I normally have the whole OV pain as well, but mine only lasts for about 5 mins if that.

fingers crossed Bella for u... DH... well he's being v v attentive and loving (quite a shock really - he's even done breckie in bed...... twice! lol.) in all thou things are a lot better between us, and i'm not looking forward to him going back, he goes beg of feb, so hopefully i'll have a OV b4 then. still it will only be for 8 weeks, then i'll be CD 3-7 when hje's home, and OV is on 12-14 so should be all sorted. will just have to remeber to relax and not get so worked up, which is why I think AF was late showing up.

MIL down this weekend, so i'll talk to you all again on Monday after they've gone (comp is in the spare bedroom) Good luck all testers!

BellaLasagne · 21/01/2005 11:56

Hi girls, just popping in to see if you're all OK.

I've changed my name, as you can see, as I thought it was about time; maybe this will bring me luck?

Munnzie - how's it going with dh? Is he driving you crazy yet? Has he gone back to work yet? (I could only ever stand about a week and then I'd go mad!) Hope all's well.

BFN, and babydust to all ;';'*;'

Wifeof xx

MINNIE1 · 21/01/2005 11:54

morningpaper,
Join the club, At the start i was testing at CD20 onwards just incase i was,,, How bloody silly but its hard not to... But your to early to get the BFP so fingers crossed you do in the next few days...

morningpaper · 21/01/2005 09:51

Tri: I will wait a few more days...

Hula: I think I was only 8 days po.

I am just basing this on the fact that I get a very specific sharp pressure-pain for about 2 hours around mid-cycle, which I assume is ov pain (it looked that way when I was charting a few years ago).

triceratops · 21/01/2005 09:39

Hi everyone, CD7 here so next week is the fun bit of all this.

Morningpaper - so long as you dont test everyday until AF I will consider you quite restrained.

Hulababy · 21/01/2005 09:33

Soory about BFN - seems that it was probably a bit too early though. What DPO do you think you are?

morningpaper · 21/01/2005 09:28

Can seem to load your chart... but fingers crossed!!!!

Day 22 here... tested yesterday - so emabarassed to admit this - BFN of course.

Hulababy · 21/01/2005 09:15

CD24; 8DPO. Temps went p a little again today - so still over cover line for now. Few more days of waiting to go now though...

Chart here

... I hate the waiting bit! Don't we all?"

munnzieb · 21/01/2005 09:04

good luck for the exam Rudy - not that you'll need it!

Will keep you posted Marinda - so far all I know is I have to take a morning sample along with me, thou I have no idea why. (just hoping Af has left me by then! lol.) Jeds has an apt the same day so it will be intresting to see how they do things way over in England, esp as DH's next posting looks to be in York, so if we're not PG by (next March) then i'll be getting refered to there.

P/O - hmmm sicky feeling ((((hugs)))) it's horrid isn't it. fingers crossed thou it's a good sign. My nan swears blind she was sick every meal time for the whole nine months, literally from the point of conception to the birth, so I don't think theres a time frame on it really (hoping I don't have that thou)

Sparkly- Good luck for this month hon.

Jeds - Hope all is OK now.

sparkly · 20/01/2005 23:06

Not been around much this week - sorry - been really busy at work and not had the energy at night to do anything. CD7 for me today so in the not worrying part of it all - at least for now. Given my last cycle was around 33 days I'm going to try to plan the whole BD thing a bit better this time around - we may have totally missed the window of opportunity last month anyway. I'm promising myself not to test too early this month - until at least day 32!

Rudy - good luck with your exams! And good luck to anyone who is testing soon!!! Fingers crossed!

marinda · 20/01/2005 21:52
