Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

I have one of those Digital Clearblue ones that just say Pregnant or Not Pregnant, but I don't like them. I much prefer the ones where you can see the lines - looking for that really faint second line is so much more...erm, I don't know...but I prefer it!

Sallie · 24/01/2005 09:46

I was only 10 dpo when I tested positive. Used First Response and Boots Digital. But as you probably all remember, I also used Predictor the next day to double check and they gave me BFNs. Steer clear of predictor tests!!!

RudyDudy · 24/01/2005 09:42

btw mp - what test did you use?

Hulababy · 24/01/2005 09:42

Rudy - I am going to try and hold out until Saturday too. Trouble is I know that I do have one left over Clearblue Digital test in my wardrobe, and that I want to book a week away in October this week. BUT I am trying hard to resist!

triceratops · 24/01/2005 09:40

Well done morningpaper, congratulations.

I have high hopes for you as well pickledonion - now that you are feeling sick are you regretting choosing that name?

fingers crossed everyone.

RudyDudy · 24/01/2005 09:38

Sallie - how many dpo were you when you tested positive?

RudyDudy · 24/01/2005 09:37

Morningpaper - fantastic news!!!!!

CD30 and 9/10 dpo for me so still waiting. Have a few cramps but don't know whether they are impending AF or exam stress! Trying not to get my hopes up but you can't help it can you? In theory I am going to wait until Saturday to test but that sounds such a long way away....

Fingers crossed for Hula, Marinda and Mariella. Anyone else due to test???

Sallie · 24/01/2005 09:32

Morningpaper - I am still lurking around on this thread - great news, hope all continues to go well. I tested positive on cd24 too which I thought was incredibly early as in my previous two pregnancies I didn't get a BFP till cd30 at least (have a 28 day cycle).
Best of luck and lots of babydust to everyone else coming up to testing time.....

Hulababy · 24/01/2005 08:42

Oh, morningpaper - congratulations. Well done you! Fab news to wake up to and thank you for the baby dust

Good luck miranda!

I'm on CD27, 11DPO. Messed up temps this morning so it could be anything from 36.47 (dropped thermometer half way through), 36. 79 (twice) or 36.69 (last one, 5 mins later). But have some AF like symptoms now, and I have drank way too much wine this weekend.

So waiting game!

marinda · 23/01/2005 22:47

Congratulations morningpaper !Well Done 1
CD28 here and no AF - dare not test incase I get a BFN like last time. Felt soooooo nausious however !!!! Right who is going to test when - I am tempted to leave if to next week-end if no AF !
When are you other ladies testing ???
Where's Hester ?????

morningpaper · 23/01/2005 21:47

morningpaper · 23/01/2005 21:44

I did another test just now... different brand - definite positive.

Can't believe it. Am feeling very shocked and wobbly.

My due date will be the day after dd's third birthday!

Bloody hell...

Hulababy · 23/01/2005 21:25

Oh, MP. Fingers crossed there. Sounding positive.... when are you testing next?

Hulababy · 23/01/2005 21:23

Oops mistyped completely. CD26, 10DPO

morningpaper · 23/01/2005 19:47

Well it's day 24 and 11 dpo. Did a test this morning and it was a faint positive. I think. It is hard to tell because I seem to have halluncinated so many faint positives before. But I think it was. Tonight I am bleeding slightly - new blood - which is odd because I am 4/5 days before AF is due. I am hoping this is an implantation bleed. But I am trying to be calm and circumspect about it.

Am scared to even type this in case it jinxes me or something...

Bloody hell eh?

I am sending out good vibes to Hula, Mariella, princesspea and RudyDudy - let's hope we are all graduates this month. Fingers crossed. xxx

jeddah · 23/01/2005 19:08

gosh rudy! I have just completed 2 degrees and never never never again! you are a star! good luck next thursday!

Mariella....get the concealor out!

pickledonion · 23/01/2005 15:56

good afternoon all CD20 here and all is good.

Good luck to all of you who are comming to the end of the cycle hope to see some BFP for you all.

In some ways i am dreading the end as this is my first month of TTC i don't want the disapoint that i feel we'll get.

mariella · 23/01/2005 13:18

hello rudy and hula - thanks for the thoughts for both me and pph! we are one and the same - I use mariella on this thread in the vain hope that my sister won't notice that I'm ttc! I may be in luck, she is on holiday for the next 10 days

anyway I don't know when I ov, so that isn't much help is it. but I'm developing a big zit on my chin which is a dead giveaway that af is coming for me... I'll keep you all posted!

Hulababy · 23/01/2005 10:25

1Morning all. CD14, 9DPO I think. Temps still up but FF website is down right now so can't record. Incase I forgot what temp is later, going to write it here as a reminder - 36.69 Still a waiting game for me for a few more days.

PPH - could still be too early for testing. With DD I didn't get a BFP until a few days into the pg. Hang in there and test again in a few days. Good luck.

Mariella - how's it going? Did you give in and test today, are have you resisted? Good luck and hope it is your month

Went out for lovel meal, all expenses paid yesterday night. Mmmm. Broke my diet, and drank a bit too much for this time of cycle, but hey...it was nice

RudyDudy · 23/01/2005 10:20

hello pph - how many dpo are you? and when is AF due? Fingers crossed you have just tested too early - it's not over until she arrives

Jedds - I'm doing a dietetics degree. One more exam next Thurs and this time next week I will be on holiday - hurrah! Which will hopefully distract me from the dreaded waiting for AF to show up. We haven't invited her on the holiday with us but you know what a cheeky mare she is!

Hi Mariella - have you tested? Will admire your patience if you haven't but know that I would have done first thing this morning Good luck to you this month..

How are the other pre-testers????

Hope the weekend is going well Munnzie

princesspeahead · 23/01/2005 10:15

mariella · 22/01/2005 15:13

hello everyone, haven't posted for so long because it was all doing my head in so thought I'd just go with the flow.
except I'm now on day 27 and just wondering......
don't feel at all premenstrual.
should I test tomorrow? or just wait and see? last cycle was 28 days, previously around 28/29.
I'm nervous!
anyone else testing in the next few days? this thread is soooooo long I can't work it out!

morningpaper · 22/01/2005 15:03

I have just found out that one of the women from my postnatal group is 4 months pg - I'm the last one left TTC!

It's SO good to have fellow sufferers here! Good luck you two! xxx
