Hi @DC2023 how was your scan yesterday?

DC2023 · 16/08/2024 09:35

@MocktailMe i haven't tested for a while I stopped testing once I started bleeding x

Id say you've got nothing to worry about with the tests. The tests only pick up HCG and you have clear progression showing it go up. Try to stop testing now if you can as it won't give you any more answers about your pregnancy than that. I do understand the stress! Good luck for your scan xx

Hi @DC2023 I saw your other threads and wondered how you were today. Did both of your HCG results come through, what were they? Have been thinking of you 💐

DC2023 · 10/08/2024 16:06

I've had this now xx

Yes absolutely - I’m due next month 🥰

DC2023 · 09/08/2024 13:14

@2PinkCrocs thank you for being so lovely and kind, not forgetting to mention understanding! I will definitely let you know and in the meantime I'll keep praying! They definitely seem like they need banning then!
It's so reassuring to hear similar stories. Did everything turn out ok for you? Xx

Ooh, your line this morning is a cracking one isn’t it! That’s about as strong as mine got on that brand by the way, I never seemed to get a dye stealer with it.

As for the Clearblue, that’s exactly what happened to me. I never got my 3+ and oh the stress and worry it caused me. I searched on here at the time and it seems some people never get it.

The thing that annoyed me most was, I found out what the CB HCG threshold needed to be in order to get a 3+, and one day I had a HCG blood test and my levels were far above the threshold… but it still only showed 2-3 that day! So honestly I’d ban the things if I were in charge 😁

I’m pleased you’ve got your scan booked next week. I’m not going to say ‘relax’ because I remember too well the awful anxiety in the early days, especially when you’ve had a bit of a journey to get to this point. What I will say is that going off your tests alone, they look great. Really good progression. Let me know how it goes next week 😊

DC2023 · 09/08/2024 08:57

@2PinkCrocs I forgot to add, I did a clear blue weeks indicator last Saturday and it was 2-3 weeks, I did it again yesterday (don't know why I didn't leave it a week) and it's still saying 2-3 weeks. Xx

Hello,
thanks for checking in with me! This is my test this morning. I have rang out early pregnancy unit and I have a scan booked for next week, I guess I will know sooner rather than later but I am trying to be positive albeit difficult! :( xx

Hi @DC2023 how are you getting on?

DC2023 · 07/08/2024 06:54

My test is lighter this morning than yesterdays which can't be normal can it?

I’d say this morning’s is your strongest yet! 🤩

DC2023 · 06/08/2024 05:26

@2PinkCrocs thank you so much, I really appreciate you taking time to reassure me, I need to think positive but it's SO hard isn't it at this stage where it's the unknown, but deep down I know worrying won't change anything at all. I've prayed so many times. This is this mornings, I wouldn't say it's lighter would you?xx

Hi @DC2023, while no one can give you any guarantees, I have just done a comparison of your 14 and 16dpo tests with photos of mine (same brand) on the same days. Yours are stronger on both days, and I can see progression in yours too.

I also looked back on my tracker app and the only symptom I had on 16dpo was ‘tired!’ No sore boobs or sickness etc at that stage.

I’m currently seven weeks away from my due date 😊 I remember the awful anxiety so well but I am sending you all the very best.

DC2023 · 05/08/2024 21:13

Hi there, me again, I know I shouldn't have but I can't help myself given my anxiety, I took another test this morning and it seems lighter than yesterdays and this has made me worry. I also have no symptoms. What are your thoughts? X

Totally understand your anxiety OP but not sure where you are getting the idea that you should be getting a line the same darkness or a 'dye stealer' at 14dpo/15dpo.

I don't think I got that until 20dpo and then I stopped testing.

Your tests look perfect to me.

Best of luck with the pregnancy!

2PinkCrocs · 04/08/2024 21:22

Hugely normal. Remember to compare your lines 48 hours apart. You've got great progression. Smile

DC2023 · 04/08/2024 21:20

My test line still isn't as dark as my control line and I was due on my period today, is this normal? xx

Thank you so much everyone for your positivity, I have had 3 losses already so this is so nerve wracking xx

You have great 48 hour progression (remember that you don’t check tests 24 hours apart, but 48) and your lines look perfect. Congratulations!
