Hi ladies! CD 1 for me today, so I’m moving over from the July thread and starting this one (don’t think there is already one). Anyone else now ttc for a BFP in August??

Premom has given up on me finding my own peak and has decided now it was a few days ago. It's telling me I'm 3dpo so here's hoping I've done enough.

Suggests testing hcg levels on the 8th anyone else testing around then and can be supportive in not testing until at least then 🤦‍♀️ I went ott last month testing early

8dpo is really early! I’m going to try and hold off until my period is due but there’s absolutely no chance of that happening 😂

You are 5 days earlier than me. 😀I usually started to test hcg and LH from 1 dpo for record keeping and data consistency. Now I wonder if I should start testing HCG on 8dpo. What about you ?

Hello everyone, tentatively joining you.
It will be my first cycle TTC a sibling for my kids. I’m on cd13 but still have a while to go before ovulation because of having long cycles.

I took a Clear Blue one at lunchtime and a faint line came up straight away.

I will not test again until AF due to be sure.

@Jefferson5 I think if you don't read the results within 10 mins the results become invalid. I would get another test but wait a few more days before retesting.

10 DPO, got impatient and took a test. Waited 2 mins and it was white. Thought I was too early so left it 40 mins and came back to this.

Probably an evap line?
Going to buy more tests today

Bit of a random question here. So I've seen a lot of people mentioning they have sore boobs as a symptom of pregnancy or PMS. I always used to get sore boobs during AF and it was also my first sign when I was pregnant with my first. But now I think of it I haven't had this symptom during AF since I stopped breastfeeding? Does breastfeeding kind of take away some feeling in your boobs??

Hoping I’ve just missed it and and not that I haven’t peaked this month… I test once or twice a day as I don’t want it to take over my life and we are currently on holiday so I was out all day on Thursday… these were my 3 tests on Thursday afternoon, evening and Friday morning. Thursday afternoon looks the strongest. Wednesday’s lines were quite faint. Do you think I may have peaked Thursday AM and missed it?

Update from this… had been tracking my temp and had a major dip this morning so decided to do another OPK and it was glaringly positive. Guess my ovulation date is much later this month (CD19) and I’m usually around 14/15…. Guess it’s another week of full on dtd and hoping something sticks 😂🤪

CD 20 here and no sign of ovulation... Multiple opks per day and bbt sitting at 35.9 for days. Not feeling confident this month.

How's everyone else dealing with the lack of control I find it so hard 🙈

AF arrived today at 12dpo, super early this month. I'm putting it down to it only being my second post partum cycle.

Currently on CD30, waiting for AF to show up after having BFN's at 10DPO, 13DPO & 15DPO.
Onto Cycle #4 and keeping everything crossed for august x

I am wondering if I'm the same. Things looked promising today I did 4 opks. They went up quite a lot but only took two tests to work so the first 2 looked promising but by the time I came home to do the other 2 things were coming down again. I'm on CD 19 now and bd-ing at least every other day. Just hoping if we keep going I'll eventually just get a bfp 🙈

@ScarlettSloth my peak is very quick; I get a static smiley on the digital but often don’t get a peak on the sticks, unless I use many in a day. So, I’m thinking you probably did peak and just missed it.

I’m on CD 10 now. OPKs still low but DTD today just in case as I usually ovulate between CD 12-14.

@FlyWren that is so frustrating!! When you’re ready, it might be worth getting some private tests as if that is the issue it could possibly be an easy one to solve with meds? Good luck!

Maybe the peak was yesterday and was missed, but what were your highest readings? Were they "high" on Premom? As darker but still in the low would not be relevant. If the peak was yesterday then DTD yesterday was good, plus today, and tomorrow possible. Can't say anything on temps as I don't measure. You can also keep testing LH in case it gets darker and you are not there yet

So I don’t use premon I use Natural Cycles. These are my tests I haven’t been religiously taking them to be honest, last time I’d do 3 a day when they were getting darker and I didn’t yesterday. I think i probably peaked yesterday? Normally the line is much much darker for me but I’m guessing I just missed it.
Will DTD tonight, you never know! But feel I’m already out 😂
