Hello, joining this thread. Hope everyone is doing ok!

I’m currently somewhere between 2dpo and 8dpo - struggling to work out when I ovulated as this is our first cycle trying post miscarriage. Hoping 8dpo as I’m not sure I can wait much longer 😬

Welcome @lv565 ! There are quite a few of us here in late 30s/early 40s, TTC the first one, including me, so all good!
I am on CD5, and ovulation is usually around CD17, so still quite some time to go!

Cycle day 12 here I think - usually get a peak on 13 or 14. My LH surge is always really sudden, it’s low until it’s suddenly high then drops back down again just as quickly! It’s annoying as I never know exactly when to expect it. I am ovulating according to my blood tests though, so it must just be the way mine works.

I’m going to try the ferti-Lily cup this month, has anyone else tried it?

My LH remained low right until the peak day. I knew I was in my fertile window and dtd every day because CBFM showed "High" from CD 11. I didn't know when I would get my peak so the only day when I didn't dtd was the day before peak. In the past, my LH started to increase over time and eventually reached peak. This cycle it was a sudden surge. That was a bit unexpected. But today is 1 dpo and hopefully I have done enough.

I’m 4dpo and this is the first time I’ve tried to conceive. I’m about to turn 40 (tomorrow!). I’ve just learned from these threads that this is the two week wait and it’s already driving me slightly mad! I've had sore boobs since ovulation but nothing else yet that I could say is definitely different to normal. I’m sure my boobs don’t normally feel this sore for this long 🤔

I’m trying to wait to take a test until Monday which will be 9dpo (I might cave and do it on Sunday).

Despite last month saying I didn't want to start tracking and going stir crazy I am waiting on delivery of ovulation tests and a ttc diary
I'm starting to think I haven't ovulated since end of May so need to do some tracking to see what's going on!
How long did it take you to get regular cycles back once stopping contraception? I was taking the pill for 15 months before stopping in April

How long are your cycles usually? You can have more than one LH surge, sometimes it means you will ovulate slightly later than normal. I wouldn’t count yourself out yet, and would maybe carry on testing.

Ladies I’m so confused. CD14. 5am negative LH, 5pm strong LH which for me I would class as my peak, but then at 7pm negative LH. I’m utterly confused as usually my ovulation tests are positive for around 48hours. Any thoughts?

I usually wait for missed period as I don’t want to drive myself crazy wondering if I can see lines or not!! I might test at 12 DPO this month cx

Sperm can stay inside you for up to 5 days and a healthy sperm can live from a couple of hours to as long as five days after intercourse. You are not out. You did it in your fertile window even you got an empty circle on CD10. You did it again on CD12 (the O day) which still had a good chance to get pregnant.
However sperm on CD10 were more likely to reach the egg than the sperm on CD12. Fingers crossed for you.

Yeap your right, I went out and bought more and still negative! Desperately want AF to show up now so I can move on to a new cycle

Hello - wondering if I could join this group! I was in one back in 2020/2021 - and it was lovely to have support! We have just started TTC again so we can hopefully have our second child.
I started spotting yesterday (8dpo) which is a sign AF in imminent, but I wasn’t holding out much hope for first try (being 40 might not help either!) so am not disheartened yet. Last time took a while with a couple of losses too, so I feel more prepared this time round than before when I naively thought we’d time it right and that would be it!

So far have only done opks the last few months just to give me a rough idea when I ovulate, although I’m considering doing bbt again aswell - it’s just remembering to take my temp in thr mkrn these days!!

Hi, so Im on CD32, 18DPO and AF is 4 days late. I've been testing since 10Dpo and always get a BFN. This mornings test looks like this? Is this a dodgy test? The line is going horizontal rather than vertical? Test looked like this 5 minutes after taking

Hi everyone I'd like to join please, currently trying for our second. Only 3 cycles in at the moment and had a chemical in the first cycle trying. Trying to be more relaxed this cycle, no ovulation testing and no pregnancy testing until my period is missed 🤞🏻 currently on CD15
