Currently 12dpo. BFN but I'm confused as AF should have arrived today but seems to be missing so far! Confused!

So lovely seeing all these positves!!! I've got 10 more days until period is due, feels like a lifetime. Due date would be 2nd of May if we conceived. What's all your due dates if you've conceived/yet to conceive!! Xxx

I'm 11 dpo I think, possibly 10 (I didn't do opks this cycle as ironically we stopped trying)

My lines are very light still on early tests and almost invisible on strip tests

8dpo afternoon test! fingers crossed it's a BFP and sticks this time 🤞

Flow arrived today folks, cd 26 so I’m out. It seems my leutial phase is getting a little shorter. Any tips?

@km9371 hopefully yours get darker over the next few days. How many dpo are you? You might be catching it quite early.

We just finished a long walk in the sun and didn’t take enough water. So I decided to take another test and it’s positive. It is light but hopefully it’s just because it’s early.

No, not saying you are but sex definitely got less spontaneous and more mechanical for us! 😂 Ah, just have sex for fun whenever you feel like I say and make sure you hit your EWCM days.

@Blue2020 I may be incorrect but I believe the science behind the test means that expired tests are less sensitive and can therefore produce false negatives. A positive on an expired test is likely to be an even stronger positive line on an in date test!!

We managed to DTD this morning while our daughter had a nap
Fingers crossed we have all done enough! We did DTD 4 days ago as well so that hopefully increases the odds! I'd just prefer to have done it on the real prime days but we'll see xx

I’m 11dpo and I did something silly. I thought I’m out so why not use the expired first response test? That way I have tested and the test was only getting older. It was a two pack that I used one last time in 2022 and the other stayed sealed. Expired Aug/sept 2023 I think. It was a positive. I know the only solution is to test again and I do have two new tests ready but this was fmu so I might wait until tomorrow.

I had a negative at 9dpo with a cheap test. Now I just need to not get any false hope for a day.

We aren't mechanical we just always are quite physical even 10 years in 🙈 but I think if it's still not happening maybe we need to switch something up and try dtd a bit less

Friday night / Saturday morning *

Hi, I am in a similar situation. Peak was Friday night/Monday morning. Only managed DTD last night, which is about 26 hours post first surge in LH and 16 hours post peak. I had some severe cramping on one side a couple hours prior to DTD so think that was the actual ovulation. I am also confused, as most sources say ovulation happens about 36 hours after surge, and egg lives up to 12-24 hours, but others say ovulation can happen 8-12 hours after peak and in reality the egg doesn't really survive well 6 hours after release. I hope we caught it but I all I read it can still be a fertile period 2/3 days after the peak, so keep trying, you still have a decent chance today! 🌟 I know they say it is best to have some sperm already waiting, which wasn't the case for us this month but let's see!

Hmm, there’s still a chance but maybe a small one depending entirely on how long after an OPK peak you ovulate and how long eggs last and are able to be fertilised.

If you got a peak Friday afternoon, let’s assume you ovulated yesterday at a similar time ie 24 hours later. Then an egg apparently ‘lives’ for 12-24 hours I think so I’d get in quick this morning! But I think some women ovulate longer than 24 hours after a peak OPK so I’d definitely DTD pronto. Some ovulate in less than this time after a peak OPK too of course.

Are you using the pink or the purple clear blue?
I used the pink and got a static smiley waaaay before my easy at homes went positive! Where as when I used the purple one it didn't change to static for a while

I had a peak LH test on Friday afternoon, but we haven't DTD yet due to timings and being too busy/my partner was out last night

Is it too late to do it today? I don't fully understand timings if ovulation after a peak LH test

We didn’t conceive the month we had sex every single night (honeymooners 😂) but we did the next month when we went to every two nights (not even every other!) including during the fertile period!

I’ve heard the key thing, when it starts getting mechanical and the fun of sex is going, is to have sex when you see EWCM and every couple of days in the lead up to ovulation. Then you’ll have some sperm hopefully being sustained in EWCM for a least a couple of days and when the egg makes it appearance hopefully magic will happen!
