Hi all, hoping for some help. I’ve been TTC 6 years and have had 3 failed rounds of ivf. I’ve had a bit of a cold and been feeling dizzy from 6-8dpo. I am only 9dpo and did a test with second urine of the day - confirmed 9dpo as I used ovulation sticks. Is this a positive or am I too early to get excited? Never seen a positive in 6 years xxx

Morning my lovely, it's okay you're not going crazy @Butterfly8719 🤍 It's so understandable that you're nervous after all these years. I personally think your lines are looking great 😍😍

Could the migrane be because of the heat? But also hormone changes can encourage it. Try to stay as positive as you can, you deserve to try and enjoy this as much as you can xx

Thank you lovely - I’ve told myself to just enjoy it and appreciate the fact that right now I’m further ahead than I ever have been, but it’s seems so hard as I’m just petrified it’s going to be taken away from me, which is what I’ve been used to the last 6 years. I wish getting a positive just meant a baby 😟 decided to stop testing now until 7 week scan. What will be will be and I need to be grateful of the now ❤️ thank you for your support xxx

It seems like only half the line is getting darker? Maybe they’re just a dodgy batch? (Ps it has dried slightly lighter than day before)

I think I’m going crazy girls, I’m still spotting and still being crazy and testing with wondfo and they’re not getting darker (if anything this mornings was lighter) although I was up in the night and drank a fair bit. I’m 27dpo and so many people have ‘dye stealers’ on wondfo and I just cannot get out of my own head.

this spotting, plus a 3 day migraine (I stupidly googled and people said they had migraine before miscarriage 😖😖) please some talk me down as I’m going crazy!!

@Butterfly8719 that's great news! I had an early scan with ds, no heartbeat as it was similar gestation to you. Seeing the little teeny sac is really positive!

BeachRide · 30/07/2024 16:36

That's all very promising. I'm sorry you're going through such a stressful time (been there!) Are you booked in for another scan soon?

Butterfly8719 · 30/07/2024 15:59

Thank you you’re all so kind ❤️🤍 so they saw the gestational sack and the yolk and what they think is baby measuring 2mm. No heartbeat as only 5w3d, and they said they wouldn’t see one till 6+ weeks anyway. They said they cannot tell at this stage if it’s a viable pregnancy and that the spotting can be normal. I go back in 2 weeks time to hopefully hear a heart beat. Good news is I am measuring where I should be and it’s not ectopic! 🫶🏻

Wishing you luck lovely!!! ❤️❤️

PinkFrogss · 30/07/2024 11:13

Good luck OP, have been silently watching on, thinking of you today

ThelastRolo20 · 30/07/2024 10:50

@Butterfly8719 wishing you best of luck today ❤️ I had brown spotting this pregnancy (didn't have it in my first). Really threw me but brown is more likely to be okay. I had a subchorionic hematoma (no impact on baby) and even had a brown clot come out a week or so later! All is well so far so hoping this is the same for you.

Period type cramps are so normal and please remember those tests are not for HCG monitoring, only to say "yes you're pregnant". I don't think I ever got a "dye stealer"!

I have everything crossed that all is well xx

@Butterfly8719 im not sure where you live, but if the EPU can’t see you for a while you can get other clinics offering scans that are much cheaper. Fingers crossed for you!

Thank you, going to see what they say then book a private one if I can. Just got 3+ on the weeks indicator 🤞🏼taken today off work to just rest x

Staying positive for you @Butterfly8719 🤍 How are you feeling this morning?

Like PPs said, spotting and cramps can be a 'normal' part of so many pregnancies. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, lovely xx

Hiya @Niiina i have more spotting, it’s like a brown/grey colour was heavier this morn. My boobs were really sore last night and my wondfo is darker this morn, so hopefully it’s normal. It’s just so unsettling isn’t it 😞 my cramps seem to have settled too, I’m waiting for the EPU to call me to arrange a scan. My fertility clinic who I’ve been with for years are not interested in me now I have a natural pregnancy - I also had scans and bloods included in my last rounds which cost around 18k and obv I didn’t use as my cycles failed, and now they want to charge me £200 for an early scan! ☹️ x
