Hi all, hoping for some help. I’ve been TTC 6 years and have had 3 failed rounds of ivf. I’ve had a bit of a cold and been feeling dizzy from 6-8dpo. I am only 9dpo and did a test with second urine of the day - confirmed 9dpo as I used ovulation sticks. Is this a positive or am I too early to get excited? Never seen a positive in 6 years xxx

@Butterfly8719 so sorry to hear this. I have no words. Look after yourself xxx

I had a D&C or ERPC because it was a suspected partial molar (but wasn’t, thankfully.) This was truely the best option for me as I went in to hospital about 7am, had the op about 1pm, and was home by 7pm recovering. I was on painkillers and didn’t feel pain - I felt more pain the night before as my body was having contractions. I had a week off work in bed just coming to terms with it all but physically I only needed a few days. I have spoken to several women who regretted taking the tablets as it’s much more drawn out and can be painful, but I obviously I can’t speak to the other options as I didn’t have them. But I can say that if I was to go through the same awful experience again I would ask for the ERPC. The care I received was incredibly kind and sensitive.

Thank you all. I still have all the symptoms and it’s truly heartbreaking, we went in so positively after seeing the fetal pole 2 weeks ago 💔 @Dreamer1987 did you have medical management? I don’t know whether to wait it out, take tablets or have a D&C? X

Good morning! Most people's lines don't get darker than what you've pictured - they're perfectly on track. ❤️ I tested compulsively on this pregnancy because of a chemical pregnancy before it, and my lines never got darker than what you've shown. Currently 8 months along.

If there's any reflexologists nearby who specialize in maternal care it may help with anxiety and symptoms? Sounds hippy-ish but anecdotally I've found it brilliant for pregnancy and so have so many people I know.

Thank you for being so kind. I think these tests can definitely cause more anxiety. But I am going to stop now and just trust my body.
i do actually have a fertility reflexologist near me and an acupuncture lady so maybe I should see her and do some relaxing!!! Good idea xxxx

BTW how's your husband coping with this?

Thank you lovely and thanks for your positivity - I need to step away from the tests lol. This morns is definitely slightly lighter but we wee was visibly paler so 🤔
he’s much better than me, he thinks I’m worrying for no reason and just says be calm lol - men are always much more chill!

Hey!! Omg just read through your pregnancy story! Love a happy thread! Congratulations by the way! 🥳🥳🥳 rooting for you!!

I've had 4 children and with my first I had spotting and cramps it can be normal remember every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. Try not to stress over it, get your feet up, keep hydrated and make sure you're eating well.

What date is the next scan? 🥰

Thank you!!! ❤️ that’s encouraging to hear, it’s just so unsettling and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. It’s only when I wipe though, nothing else. Next is in 2 weeks 🤞🏼

I'm so pleased for you. I truly think the stress, excitement is getting to you, very understandably so.

The migraine I would very much think is due to the heat on top of it all.
All your lines are progressing and strong.

Try and take care of yourself. I do get it, I was in a similar position 23 years ago. At almost exactly this time of year.

I wish you the very very best.

You just never know. Much love xxx

Thank you so so much. My migraine has definitely calmed down now, so was maybe the heat. Just going to try and remain positive and ignore the spotting, what will be will be 🤞🏼🤍

Oh Butterfly darling! You're so worried, and we all understand.

FWIW your tests look absolutely fine to me. But I know how anxious you are, and I know why.

Keeping you and your baby in my prayers.

Niiina · 01/08/2024 08:45

@Butterfly8719 absolutely that, just let yourself enjoy it. This is such a gorgeous piece of news and look how far you've come. Try and let yourself relax and enjoy it 🤍

The scan won't be long at all and I definitely think stop testing now and try to think how you can look after yourself and little poppy seed until then. Pamper and spoil yourself 🥰

So much support from everyone here too and so many women with cramps and spotting in their pregnancies so lets see it as you're on track for now 😍🌹👏🏼 xx

BestDIL · 01/08/2024 08:41

Your lines look good. I’d be happy with them. I’m sure it will all be fine but you need to relax just a little bit. I know easier said than done. It’s possible the migraine was due to the sun/heat so don’t read anything into that. I’ve not heard of a link between migraine and miscarriage. I certainly didn’t have one before any of mine.

Enjoy every moment of growing your baby. It’s tiring but amazing when you think what’s going on inside your belly.

Sending lots of good wishes and hugs. 🥰

I think I’m going crazy girls, I’m still spotting and still being crazy and testing with wondfo and they’re not getting darker (if anything this mornings was lighter) although I was up in the night and drank a fair bit. I’m 27dpo and so many people have ‘dye stealers’ on wondfo and I just cannot get out of my own head.

this spotting, plus a 3 day migraine (I stupidly googled and people said they had migraine before miscarriage 😖😖) please some talk me down as I’m going crazy!!
