5 days late, had slight blood the day after I was due when wiping then spend last night in tears as had some brown when I wiped.

woke up this morning and decided to test again as no actual period yet.

i did 3 tests 🙈 husband can see them too but says we should just stay calm and relax 😂 we’ve been ttc for over 10yrs so we’re both extremely cautious

@Strictlymad i doubt they would give me a scan as when my first blood test came back it was indicating 2weeks pregnant so there would be nothing to see xx

Maybe you should ask for a scan? It might give you some more information? Sending many many hugs xx

Hopefully the EPU will be able to shed some light on what’s happening and give you some answers - it’s the not knowing and the waiting that’s the worst. Im glad this thread has been of some comfort to you - infertility and miscarriages are really awful to deal with as many of us know.

Edited

Thank you so much. It’s been a huge comfort to me as has each and every one of you.

I hope I get some answers but I fear we’ll
never know exactly what’s happened. I do feel
if my levels return to normal by themselves then this was a new pregnancy or a chemical.

it’s just so confusing as I was so tired yesterday and my boobs are still sore and swollen. My poor husband was saying the blood test could be wrong ☹️ he has MS and had a blood test done before where they called him back within half an hour as it showed he had no immune system. They repeated it straight away and the levels came back normal. So he’s clinging on to that, whilst I’ve been trying to convince him that it is declining and we’ve got to try again

When is your period otherwise due @DoraBella88 ? Could it have been a chemical? They are so so common. I'm sure next month (or whenever you retry) will be your time x

I haven’t had a period since my miscarriage. So if my body returned to normal I would have been due on last Monday / Tuesday. I got 1-2 weeks on the digital last Sunday.

it could of been a chemical. I don’t think we’ll ever know the truth. I’m hoping to have a chat with EPU when I’m there tomorrow as I really feel I need help if I manage to fall pregnant again. My GP has been useless and I’d much rather deal with EPU if they’d have me.

I’ve already said to my husband that I will test again in a week to see if it’s showing negative so at least if we’re in this position again I will be less confused.

the positive I’m clinging on to is hoping this may of pushed my body in to knowing what it should do, as after over 10yrs we’ve never been here before.

im just so so sad 😢

Thank you ladies. I couldn’t have got through this without you all.

off to work today so that will keep me busy. Then get through tomorrow’s blood test and go from there.

last night was a hard night, lots of tears from both myself and my husband. I hate seeing him cry 😢 but we’re still trying to look at the positives. We are convinced it was a new pregnancy but unfortunately we will probably never know.

Sending you a massive hug! Xxx

DoraBella88 · 09/08/2024 19:59

Thanks ladies.

ultimately I wanted to know what was going on and now I guess I have my answer. I am so confused as my pregnancy symptoms are much stronger than they were originally. So I was a little shocked when she said they had dropped. Next blood test is on Sunday then I will be having a very large glass of wine!

I just want to thank each and every one of you who have been on this crazy rollercoaster with me. I don’t know what I would of done without you all ❤️

GelatoPistacchio · 09/08/2024 19:41

I'm sorry it wasn't more positive news. I hope you get the healthcare support you deserved from the start and a plan for the future.

I had recurrent miscarriage and a treatment plan was put in place for me. There is hope, I promise.
