Clexane Drop Wastage

Hula hoops is not too bad 😊 I'm glad I've not started the morning with candy kittens, though today I have no symptoms, so I'm hoping I can use the opportunity to be a bit healthier. I got some blood results from my booking appointment that showed me borderline on prediabetes 😭 so I have since in the last week improved my diet, at least snack wise.
My scan is on 16th Aug. I should be exactly 12 weeks + 1 day. I've had scans with 1 day ahead and then 1 day behind, just hoping it doesn't mean the growth is slowing.
Peaches, I'm definitely as scared for the next few weeks as I was at week 6 for my first scan. It just feels like a massive milestone to get there. Wish us good luck.

Yes I'm based in London. I booked at birth company but I think window to womb is about 120£ cheaper. I just thought if I had any issues birth company might be a bit better, I don't know why 🥺🤞🏻I had considered not doing it until later but convinced myself I'd rather know earlier, but it's so expensive.
Have you got your dating scan booked? Mine is in 2.5 weeks. I think next couple of weeks are going to be long.
My spotting also subsided but it went on all the way till last week so I don't know if it will come back. I've also not got symptoms today but had quite a few last week. I just wish I knew how to be calmer

Yes I just booked it yesterday for Friday. I am getting anxious now as I'm getting closer to 12 week scan.

Mine is booked at the appt for next time. It's not walk in and it is also not booked by me, I kind of have to say why I need a scan and for me it was spotting but also I'm taken care more of due to recurrent miscarriages.

@Peaches1407 my epu only scans me every 2 weeks. When was your last scan? Do you want to do a private scan? I think it's nice to have someone look after you, so try to do what you can to get extra reassurance.

In terms of small lump, not my experience, but there is no normal in pregnancy. It could be milk ducts or it could be something else. I think a scan would reveal, you might want to talk to your gp as well, as IVF clinic may not be in position to help you to test. Don't worry too much.

I think it's a little late for immune drugs now, but hopefully I'll never need them!

Yes I've been spotting for a week now with a bleed on the weekend with clots. The scariest weekend I've ever had. I had the same with my son at exact same time at 7+2 though, and it last couple of weeks, so I'm keeping everything crossed it's ok. I worry every single day though 🥺

Are you still taking all the meds? I did wonder about clexane and aspirin, the doctor said that these are likely to cause a hematoma but told me to stay on as I have blood clotting condition. Did they ever find a hematoma or such for you?

@Peaches1407 hi! How are you? I had a scare last weekend where I was bleeding, they found a hematoma and said hopefully it will reabsorb, but continue on aspirin and clexane and only stop if heavy bleeding. It's been a very stressful weekend. Hope things are going ok. I wanted to check with you if you're taking anything else on top of clexane, aspirin and progesterone. I was meant to get immune tests done in August, still haven't cancelled but I think I'll cancel a week ahead. This is something I wondered if it caused my MCs, to have high inflammation and immunuty, but I'm not taking any meds for that now.

NIPT is quite pricey but if that's ok for you, it might be worth doing it for the extra reassurance. NHS would only do it if there are issues in 12 week scan, and they would do this at 16 weeks or so, but they use less accurate test than private ones. So overall, I think it's worth it, though if the embryo was PGT-A tested, that is reassurance enough?
It's also all info I didn't know, I was just told this because my pregnancy is high risk...
I don't think you need to see your consultant much, hopefully we can get to 12 weeks and we will be back in the NHS system anyway, at that point it wouldn't matter. Fingers crossed for us no more stress or surprises.

No, EPU would do 8 weeks scan and then maybe 10 weeks before the 12 week scan by fetal medicine. 10 weeks is still unsure because they would likely only do if I'm still spotting, I didn't quite understand.
But I think if I get that far, I'll do nipt that comes with a scan in central London.
Hope you manage to get the meds soon and have a good calm weekend. We deserve to rest a bit. My work is suffering so much, I think I gotta come up with a plan to catch up next week. I couldn't think of anything but pregnancy this week, and that's fine.
Which clinic are you with? I'm at kings all through, and they've been good so far but honestly everything is work, I need to nudge to get things along...

So glad your scan went well too. Are you doing weekly scans? I am going back in 2 weeks, as EPU next does 8 weeks. For today I'm ok, but surely I'll be nervous soon.
My GP is very stingy, she thinks that if I have progesterone, someone else who needs it might not get it, I'm exaggerating but honestly she wouldn't prescribe it saying she doesn't know the right dose and that there is limited supply, that she needs to be careful etc. But thankfully I got 3 months worth of supply of clexane and 1 months progesterone from epu, so now I can go back in 2 weeks for my scan and hopefully get another month of progesterone. Waiting at pharmacy was not easy either, took me about 1 hour to get the medicine. But I can't complain, I'm so happy. I started food aversions this morning as well. Can't quite believe to get my first symptom middle of week 6.
