Any hope for poor line progression? Or should I resign myself to a chemical?

Background: Had an ectopic pregnancy in 2020, DD in 2021, MMC in February 2024

I got a BFP on Sunday (11dpo), taken another test today (13dpo) and the tests look exactly the same. Pic is 11dpo at the top and 13dpo at the bottom.

Should I resign myself to a chemical, or is there any hope?

@MrsB2019x saw your handle and I have everything crossed. Sending prayers and love your way.

@Persipan Thank you, I had decent progress on these tests with my MMC so was hoping for the same with this one 😔 but I think I will try a different brand. Got digitals at home but don’t want to waste them!

Congratulations @T0r11210 wishing you al the best for your pregnancy! Keep me updated 🤞

Thanks @KittyFantastica , and congratulations 💖

I find the easy@home great for early detection, but not great at showing progression. They're sensitive, but slow showers.

I've attached two pictures of my first few days last week. First picture is easy@home and they look virtually the same. Second picture is Wondfo and you can see a bit of a difference between the two.

Having said that, hcg should increase every 48ish hours, so it's very, very normal not to see any difference between one day and the next. I know the anxiety, I had a chemical in January and a MMC in March. Give it a few more days and reassess then.

@MrsB2019x try with a different brand!
With my son I had a stark white negative at 12dpo and then a full positive at 14 dpo. You're not out until you're out! ❤️

@MrsB2019x I could have written this myself. Mine look exactly like yours 2 days apart and today I’m also 13 dpo. Although they’re early detection I don’t think they progress that well. We’re going to be fine 👌

To the extent that 'line progression' is a thing (and we all know it's an attempt to use a qualitative test to give a quantitative result, and thus very inexact) I have never found easy@home (or similar cheapies) to be any good at showing it. Especially this early on. (Honestly I think they're a bit shit.)

I get, absolutely, the anxiety - I have a ridiculously checkered miscarriage history myself - but take a deep breath and remember that you can't know anything really from these two treats other than that you're currently pregnant.
If not knowing is causing you anxiety and you need more data, I'd suggest getting HCG blood tests at a 48 hour interval (medichecks do one you can do by post, if you can't get this any other way). But ultimately, I'm afraid you just need to wait and see what happens. I am sending you cautious congratulations and will keep everything crossed for you - I do think there's hope.
