@RaindropsOnRoses22 its funny because everything else in my life seems to go so fast 😅 are you planning on testing before AF is due to arrive? I haven’t really decided yet

I don't really know when AF is due to arrive with it being my first PP cycle. My luteal phase was around 9 days before I had my ds. I'll try to hold out to 10dpo but I'll more than likely end up testing earlier

Kiwiburgh · 19/06/2024 19:21

@Splishsplashsplosh93 I normally test at 7dpo then put myself in a pit of anxiety hoping that the second line will appear each day after that 🙈

@Splishsplashsplosh93

You've got willpower doing just the one!

I've done 8dpo, 9dpo 10dpo 🤦🏻‍♀️ but only because I'm a glutton for punishment and it's a novelty.

I know we don't have a hope this month so I'm just pissing money away.

I'm going to try and hang on until AF due next month, although will be even harder when there's an actual chance. I've just been to Poundland to stock on cheap test strips so even I don't really believe that. 🫣

Have a look on Amazon - I got 20 of the little strips for £10 which was way cheaper than what I was paying with the proper tests!

I had to be strict with myself as first few months I was testing so much - totally feel you with being a glutton for punishment!

@RaindropsOnRoses22 this is also our first cycle post partum!

We were only able to dtd once a day before ovulation. Only 1dpo and I'm already impatient.

Oh amazing! How old's your little one?

I'm feeling a bit crampy today so I suspect AF is on her way, which means a seriously short luteal phase as the FF app says I ovulated on the 15th. I've started taking vitamin B so hoping this lengthens it and puts us in with a chance next month

@Splishsplashsplosh93 when we were TTC DC1 AF would always get me before I had the chance to test. I’m undecided what to do this time round. I think if I get to 11DPO I’ll test, as my luteal phase is only 11 days. Personally if I got a negative at 11DPO I wouldn’t test again and would just wait a few more days to see if AF turns up, but I think it depends on your cycle and what’s normal for you! And also how early you’re planning on testing. I think easiest to test would be 10DPO, and so I would only get the chance to test once or twice before AF would be due for me anyway x

@Splishsplashsplosh93 totally agree my cycles are so regular and I keep testing LH incase it changes but natural cycles confirm ovulation cd13/14 every month and we BD every day/2nd day during fertile week starting cd8, so must be down to luck, not lack of.

@DaisyEM funny you mention sore boobs at ovulation. I've noticed this my last 3 cycles and it continues until AF arrives. Wonder why this suddenly has happened.

Yes exactly, if 25% will BFP each. Both of trying, we just keep dodging the 1 in 4!

I also get sore boobs after ovulation, but only since TTC. It feels like my body knows we're TTC 😅

How often does everyone test before AF? So far I've done one, seen the BFN then not tested again - also see the temperature drop the day before AF so know it's coming.

@Irish812 yep same! Mine gets worse as I get closer to AF. I read somewhere it can be related to progesterone x

CorneliaB · 18/06/2024 21:47

Hi All!
Can I join?

Wr are TTC after our MC last month, I feel pregnant again but no idea on dates so no idea when to post. I'm spotting currently so it's either AF coming or implantation but not knowing my dates is so hard!

DaisyEM · 18/06/2024 20:06

I’m 3DPO so should be about the same as you! It’s going so slowly 😅

SO slowly. I keep thinking 'oh I can test today's and then I realise I've still got another week!

Hi!
Currently 2dpo I think, ttc #2. I was breastfeeding and this is my first post partum cycle so not holding out much hope but crossing my fingers anyway!

DaisyEM · 18/06/2024 20:05

@T0r11210 ah amazing on your BFP! This definitely gives me some hope then ☺️ my boobs are always sore ovulation. It started happening about 6 months ago and happens every month now 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I wouldn’t be able to take that as a sign! I’m only 3DPO so still a long way to go 😅

Splishsplashsplosh93 · 18/06/2024 17:34

LucyCL · 17/06/2024 09:57

Yes, it is! It is like doing a challenge with 3 levels. 😂
Level 1: Waiting for period to finish
Level 2: Ovulation
Level 3: 2WW
Outcome: Fail? Succeed?

I do track my BBT and LH, in addition I use RHR and wrist temperature of my apple watch and Mira to see if everything match. Later today I will set up and start to use OvuSnese just for curiosity because it is supposed to pinpoint the exact date of ovulation as advertised.

Ah it really is!!

I’ve not heard of ovusense will have a look at it.

HRHXO · 18/06/2024 07:51

10dpo and BFN. I feel like I'm out (I know, not out until AF shows) but I have been having symptoms and I had no symptoms either DS until 5 or 6 weeks so I know I shouldn't pay too much attention to "symptoms". Anyone BFN at 10dpo but go on to have BFP later on?

Hi everyone! Would love to join this thread, currently ttc #2 on cycle 6 (DS took 14 cycles) so hoping it doesn't take as long this time!

Currently tracking using OPKs but I think I may have missed my peak as I've only had high readings (lots of EWCM) and ovulation pain so not really sure how many DPO I am 🙈 anyone else find it hard to catch their peak?

Splishsplashsplosh93 · 17/06/2024 20:44

Irish812 · 17/06/2024 12:18

@Splishsplashsplosh93 hi, we are in a similar boat! This is my 6th cycle ttc first baby. I've a 25/26 day cycle too. I'm currently cd7 and usually ovulate cd12/13, my luteal phase is always 12 days long. I tract bbt using natural cycles app and it always confirms ovulation. I also had a 21 day blood test done to check progesterone 2 cycles ago which was confirmed. Taking loads of vitamins, pregnacare preconceptions, omega 3, magnesium, CoQ10 and trying maca root capsules this month. Hubby is also taking the wellman vitamin and maca root. Never seen two lines on a pregnancy test and want it so bad so trying to be hopeful this cycle.

Ah we’re in really similar situations! I’m using Oura ring that syncs BBT with natural cycles which I feel really reduces my anxiety at looking at temps every day!

All Those vitamins will surely help prepping your bodies. DH and I have done some tests too which have been normal which is reassuring but when you know the exact day of ovulation it’s hard not to question why it’s not happening!

fingers crossed for a BFP this month for us both!

RhubarbCrumble12345 · 17/06/2024 20:38

Hey, joining in again this month. Trying to conceive no2, first DC turned 3 last month. Fell pregnant after five cycles over Christmas and miscarried at 7.5 weeks after emergency surgery. Have tried since then with no luck. Really hoping it happens soon or debating giving it up and being happy with my one!! Ahh, cycle day 9 just now and also have a short LP of 10 days 🤞 x

EagerBiscuit · 17/06/2024 18:49

Hope I can join in the journey with you all.

CD11. Miscarriage in April. Not tracking strictly. just letting things happen without the pressure but always hoping for some magic ✨️

Sending positive thoughts to you all!

lechevitrine · 17/06/2024 18:10

Hi! Hope you don't mind me joining.

8dpo on our first cycle but not hoping for much as we only decided to start trying on ovulation day.

Also have a big holiday coming up and while I would love to have some good news, lots of drinks in the sun sounds like an ok consolation prize.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

T0r11210 · 17/06/2024 17:51

@RaineyNina i did just buy it off Amazon, worth shopping around though for a cheaper box. Yes it’s hard especially planning BD time 😂
Good luck! X
