AF arrived this morning for me. I don’t know why I’m a bit disappointed as this was only cycle 1 for us. I guess I was hoping that as my cycle is regular this time around it would happen quickly, as it took us 8 cycles last time. On the plus side, my LP was short when TTC #1, but I had an 11 day LP this time, so I’m happy with that ☺️

Marshmallow99 · 27/06/2024 07:05

Hey guys! Moving over from the June forum, AF arrived today 😔. We have a holiday this month so looking forward to that and trying not to dwell. Good luck everyone this month ✨xx

Lou0811 · 27/06/2024 06:30

Still no AF this morning, despite cramps yesterday, in the night and early hours now! 9 day delay!

Hi everyone, just joining in as we have just started TTC baby no2 this month. I told myself I’d take a more relaxed approach this time round but am already obsessing over doing ovulation tests! Just wondering if everyone would interpret this as a positive or if it looks as though maybe tomorrow might be ovulation day?

I use easy at home LH strips on the Premom to determine if it is peak or not. I can see yours is a different brand and I don't know if it will work on Premom however all LH strips work the same way.
If Premom doesn't work, you have to use your eyes to judge. If the test line is darker than the control line, it is your peak.
From the picture, the test line is fainter than the control line so I assume tomorrow you will get your LH surge and the day after tomorrow will be your ovulation day. Good luck!

Hello all! 7dpo today... Can I join? It's month #4 TTC for us.

Some cramping, sore nipples and - bizarrely - my teeth have been killing over the last two days. Has anyone experienced this? Dreading the double whammy of AF's imminent arrival along with a trip to the dentist, if not 😂

Marie1990x · 26/06/2024 21:20

@SummerSun24 I’ve been using them for over a year now and still can’t find a particular pattern 🤣. I’ve just looked back on the months and af always shows exactly 14 days after my peaks, so I think I must ovulate soon after.

@MrsB902 I’d say that isn’t quite positive yet but very nearly! Saying this I’m very confused by OPK’s at the moment 😂

SummerSun24 · 26/06/2024 21:12

@Marie1990x I've read some people's peaks can happen in hours before falling off, a quick surge Vs a steady one, that's why they recommended testing multiple times a day untill you see how yours works ☺️

@Marie1990x thank you!
this will be the first month I’m using the ovulation tests. Had a MC in November and cycles better 26-30 days so it hasn’t happened again since then. Not sure I’m missing the fertile days though as Flo isn’t always accurate is it!

how about you? How are you getting on?

Lou0811 · 26/06/2024 20:47

Evening all!

im currently 8 days overdue AF, got cramping today, had nausea last week for 2 days. Today, I have been checking as I felt like AF came, but just creamy discharge.

DTD unprotected for the first proper time 9/10 days after ‘ovulation’ - last month, my AF lasted just 2 days, was light and dark brown blood.

any advice please?

this would be my 3rd pregnancy.

my cycles have been a joke since coming off depo last May.

cycles have been 98 days, 33, 55, 32 and about to go into 37.

thanks xx

Marie1990x · 26/06/2024 20:02

@SummerSun24 ahhh our bodies like to keep us on our toes don’t they!
I’ve just tested again with quite a strong pee and it’s going down. Was 178% yesterday, 101% earlier and now down to 80%. Apps have put me back to today being ovulation (they changed to tomorrow after the earlier “peak”). I’m not sure how quickly it’s meant to go from peak to minimal though.

@Laura66615 hi 👋🏻 of course! How are you getting on?

Laura66615 · 26/06/2024 19:45

I am CD7 - can I join in? X

SummerSun24 · 26/06/2024 19:44

@Marie1990x last time mine was 1.0 something one day so thought it was my peak was was 2.0 something the next evening so definitely worth testing tillcit goes back down!!

Kiwiburgh · 26/06/2024 19:44

9dpo and BFN
Can't help feel I'm out even though logicaly It may still not have implanted yet.

Marie1990x · 26/06/2024 18:36

LucyCL · 26/06/2024 18:21

Mine lasts for 1 day.

Thank you.

Will test again tonight/tomorrow and just keep an eye on bbt.

Dtd last night then will tonight and tomorrow and just hope for the best. I’m in a “cba” mood though so we’ll see if it actually happens 😂

LucyCL · 26/06/2024 18:21

Marie1990x · 26/06/2024 18:07

How long do people’s peak OPK’s last on average?

I got my first peak yesterday afternoon and just testing again now and it’s still peak. Not as high as yesterday, but I think my pee was quite a bit more diluted

Mine lasts for 1 day.

@RW269 so sorry to hear you’re back here after your miscarriage 😔. Everything crossed for you

Mattietoes · 26/06/2024 18:05

@RW269 I'm so so sorry to hear this - I also miscarried my early June positive. It is so painful!

SummerSun24 · 26/06/2024 16:42

So sorry to hear of your loss @RW269 💖

MaryMax · 26/06/2024 16:27

RW269 · 26/06/2024 14:09

Hey y’all unfortunately jumping onto this thread too, miscarried my positive from the start of June for those who were on the June thread. So back to square one! Roughly due to ovulate now but I think we’re just waiting to come on in just under 2 weeks as we’ve just been so disheartened this last two weeks and start then so I’ll be with yous middle of July for cd1 ! Sending you all the luck in the world 🩷

I was on the June thread really sorry for your loss 🥺. Hope July is your month 🤞🏼🤞🏼

KatePr · 26/06/2024 16:12

Ughh ladies still no period! I’m 14dpo and just got another bfn, I’m CD39 and feeling sooooo deflated x

Blue2020 · 26/06/2024 15:37

@ScarlettSloth I don’t know if chickenpox is enough to mess up your cycle, however I had a sickness bug in May right before I should have ovulated and it pushed it back 6 days. So if you use lh tests it might be worth continuing just incase your body has noticed you’re unwell and delays it.

RW269 · 26/06/2024 15:33

@LucyCL Thank you so much, I hope this is your month as well! 🩷

LucyCL · 26/06/2024 15:14

SummerSun24 · 26/06/2024 10:00

I've only done it two months @LucyCL and had one peak CD19 one CD16 so bit late and but random. It's what's made my cycles look sort of normal without having the short LP so so glad I started testing!

It is always good to track LH daily to understand your body a bit better!
