I tested 8dpo am as I had a cold (possibly covid) but read getting poorly can happen if you're pregnancy for a number of vague reasons lol but that morning it was negative. Felt compelled to test again in the evening and I saw a faint line and even my partner saw it. At 9dpo I had a pretty clear positive on a FRER and felt even more crap with sore boobs and cramps. Today is 10dpo and got my CB digital positive and I feel quite nauseas today.

When I was TTC my first my cycles went crazy and I would have super long cycles but no AF and no BFP. I think the stress caused my hormones to go out of whack and I started taking Concieve Plus Ovulation support and then fell pregnant with my son 6 weeks later! Do you take any supplements? Are your cycles always irregular?

Morning everyone. Congrats on recent BFPs! 🙌 On 6DPO here and also struggling with a cold/virus for a few days now, really hoping it hasn't ruined our chances this month. TTC #1 , a third cycle but also the first proper one with OPKs and timed DTD etc. will test when I am DPO 8-9 I think. Had a little scratching a few days earlier, but no other symptoms really, other than being quite tired and sleepy, which could be due to the cold though.. usually AF symptoms start creeping up by now. Amazing! Nope and my period hasn't arrived yet but I'm holding off until Saturday I think when I'll be 15dpo. I was going to hold off until Monday to test but it's my birthday and I don't want the disappointment of a negative on my bday 😂

Okay after having squinters at 8 and 9dpo, I'm now 10dpo and got this this morning 😬 I feel unwell today and unsure if it's this cold/covid I have or pregnancy related 😅. Anyone else tested this morning?

Wow the similarities are uncanny, we were pregnant first time with our first too, it definitely does make you feel more pressure I think though as it makes you worry there is something really wrong, I keep holding onto hope that my friend took 9 months to get pregnant with her second so maybe it can just take time, have you had any investigations so far? X

Yeah exactly I'm just trying to concentrate on giving my little one a really fun summer and keep busy. No we never had any issue at all the first time. We actually conceived first time 😅 which makes it had to wrap my head around why it's taking so long now. I feel like something just be wrong. What about you?X

Thank you so much for your kind words, so sorry you're also struggling to concieve with baby number 2 it's an absolutely heart wrenching journey isn't it, so sick of seeing the 1 lines every month, do you mind me asking if you had any struggles concieving your first?
Ahh its so hard, I really hope it happens for you in the next few months then, just have as much distraction and fun plans in the diary as you can and just try to really enjoy the time trying if you feel it's going to be the last few months, but I always say never say never you may think you're done trying and life may just throw you a curveball once the pressures off, always here to chat too if you need to, sending lots of hugs

I'm on month 7 currently of ttc baby number 2 and I'm 12dpo. It's been so hard and draining seeing constant negative tests every month, it starts to take over your life doesn't it. We are under a bit of pressure as hubby said if it doesn't happen in the next few months, he wants to stop (I kind of agree due to age). Fingers crossed all us ladies get our BFP soon.

Hi all new to mumsnet, hope nobody minds me jumping on this just needing a space with some like minded people right now so any words of support is appreciated, ttc baby number 2 since July last year, one chemical pregnancy in November 2023, currently 9DPO an negative test this morning, AF due 22nd hoping we aren't out for this month but wouldn't surprise me with how things have gone up to this point, fingers crossed for everyone else on this thread🙏

These cramps are getting bad ouchhh like just constant ache all across lower pelvic area particularly left side and lower back sore too. I don't normally get a bit cramping until a few days into my period.

I've had bad cramps all day today and stabbing pains on left ovary side. Did you experience cramping leading up to your bfp? I don't remember having it with my first.
After months of negatives I just dont believe I am pregnant. I'm only 12dpo so if period isn't here by Sunday, I'll test then.

It can take time for Hcg to build up, test again in a few days x

This is literally how I found out I was pregnant today. My periods are irregular normally at 30ish months but range from 20-48 days. I was 'due' my period last week and had symptoms of cramping and PMS but it never came, did an OPK cause dreaded the pregnancy test. OPK was positive and then took pregnancy test and saw BFP :) take the pregnancy test!

Just found out that I'm pregnant this afternoon at work. I did an OPK this morning which was positive at 17dpo and then got BFP after 😆 this will be my first

6dpo here doubt the crazy "symptom" spotting even tho I swore to myself I wouldn't do it this cycle 😅

Been emotional as hell the last day or so 😳

Had my regular eyebrow wax today and it hurt like hell when it normally doesn't hurt me at all 🤔

Dr Google says your skin can be more sensitive when pregnant could this be a possible sign I will get a BFP this time round ? 🤞

Congratulations! I could see the faint line on your first test :) with my son my test on 9DPO looked like that, and then I confirmed with a FRER and digital at 10dpo. How are you feeling? xx

I have spent an absolute fortune of pregnancy tests the last 7 months and driven myself mad with it, so I'm not buying any until I know for sure my period is late. I have had a bit spotting this morning and cramps on my left side so thinking period will be here tomorrow x

@Moomoo20 that's a good looking OPK, I'd do a pregnancy test as LH tests can detect HCG sometimes too, that's how I found out about my first pregnancy. The spotting could be implantation maybe?

Period is due tomorrow, this was today's opk, it's positive, what's going on. Had a tiny bit spotting today too. Anyone experienced this???
