9dpo can anyone see a faint squinty BFP? I swear I can see something on all 3 tests but I don't know if I'm being delusional because me and dp have had the week from hell and I just want some good news to end the week with.

Also worried now because after the crappy week I decided to go back on citalopram and now I'm worried if I should stop again 😳

I’ve convinced myself I’m not ovulating! I didn’t get a positive reading on an OPK last month and both apps that I’m using (Flo and Premom) have my predicted date of ovulation down as tomorrow but there’s not even a hint of a positive yet! I feel as though my lines have not got progressively any darker this month, they’ve been dead faint since I started testing pretty much as soon as my period had ended! I’m testing twice a day (morning and night) - has anyone else got any tips or advice or am I just being unnecessarily anxious?!

I've heard that you need to hold your wee for 4hours or at least not drink too much fluids as diluted results can affect readings

I caved and took a test and it was negative. Don't know why I caved in but my partner wanted to test so we did but we are only 11dpo so hoping I'm just too early to catch it maybe! With my first I tested negative up until 2 days after my period was due so I'm hoping this is the case again lol!
We will see what next week bringsFlowers

Did they arrive are you testing today, how many DPO are you? I never managed to get to the shops today. Luckily I will tomorrow so I'll pick up some tests if AF hasn't arrived over night. I'm 14dpo today. Since 9dpo I've had cramping and sharp pains only on my left side next to my Pelvic bone. Never experienced it before and I don't remember having it when I was pregnant before so I'm a bit worried

I did and it was a BFN but I'm only 10 dpo today. I've been pretty nauseous the last couple days and my mood has been everywhere so I'm hoping that it is good news.
Fingers crossed for you!

I'm waiting for my FRERs to be delivered today. I'm getting impatient!

I don’t feel like it’s my month this month. My temperatures have been all over the place, no positive LH tests, no symptoms at all when I should have been ovulating (and I’m eight days after my predicted ovulation date). I’m away for the weekend and I’ll forget about it, test once when I’m back on Monday then wait for my period to arrive.

Moomoo20 · 19/07/2024 11:56

AF due today and hasn't appeared yet! I keeping running to the toilet to check haha. Anyone testing today/tomorrow?

Moomoo20 · 18/07/2024 18:24

Girls I managed to resist buying tests today😂. I don't have any at home and was tempted to take a detour to the shops on my way to nursery and I resisted! I'm 13Dpo so AF should be here tomorrow or Saturday. The past 7 months I've tested constantly throughout the two week wait, so I'm not torturing myself by squinting and pretending I see a line this time haha. Not testing until my period due date (Saturday). I honestly think if I went and bought tests AF would show 5 mins later so not jinxing myself!

Brilliant! It eats you up, doesn’t it!

this Is my first month properly of ttc - when I had my son, it took me 3 months, but I remember feeling incredibly inpatient!

im looking forward to you testing Saturday, hopefully no AF!!! X

So, as I updated earlier, I’m currently day 58 of my cycle, 30 days late for AF. Negative test on Saturday just gone..

I now refuse to test until I really feel different!

as of this evening/late afternoon, I’ve had a pulling sensation ‘down below’, discharge, back ache and achy boobs!

fingers crossed we have sealed the deal, so to speak! We were really trying to have a DS/DD to be born in April for my DH’s birthday!

Lovedatforme · 18/07/2024 18:03

@Moomoo20 I've been taking proceive too, got pregnant 2 months after starting it on my first baby. They usually do 3 for 2 in boots. Myself and my husband take them.

1DPO today it's gonna be a long 2 weeks.

lavafield · 18/07/2024 17:59

@DaisyEM I like an optimistic and relaxed approach! At least in the first months, will keep reminding myself!

DaisyEM · 18/07/2024 17:29

@lavafield but then again it's only month two trying for #2 😅

DaisyEM · 18/07/2024 17:29

@lavafield maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I honestly don't think having a cold will make a difference :) I'm literally just taking folic acid this time around! First time I was on a huge cocktail of supplements including vit c, vit d, b complex, b6, coq10 and of course folic acid. It took us 8 months to conceive and I got totally obsessed and did allll the research and tried allll the things 😂I'm trying to take a much more relaxed approach this time, hence only taking folic acid!

lavafield · 18/07/2024 17:13

@DaisyEM It is dragging!!
With the cold, just thinking ideally the body needs to be in good shape rather than pulling all its efforts into purging this virus over ovulation and in the first days after it, but you are right, different functions are at play ! 😂

On vitamins, I have just been taking folic acid, vitamin d and coq10. Let's see if no much progress in coming months and more success stories with Proceive I may try it but have been trying to limit myself to those 3 for now

souiii · 18/07/2024 16:59

Hello everyone!

I'm 9dpo today and frustrated with the TWW 😂

I've been getting like hot flashes and massive mood swings so I'm hoping that is a good sign but I've just started taking myo inositol at the start of my cycle as my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a few years. Not sure if it is just heightening my PMS

Good luck everyone!

DaisyEM · 18/07/2024 15:54

lavafield · 18/07/2024 10:23

Morning everyone. Congrats on recent BFPs! 🙌 On 6DPO here and also struggling with a cold/virus for a few days now, really hoping it hasn't ruined our chances this month. TTC #1 , a third cycle but also the first proper one with OPKs and timed DTD etc. will test when I am DPO 8-9 I think. Had a little scratching a few days earlier, but no other symptoms really, other than being quite tired and sleepy, which could be due to the cold though.. usually AF symptoms start creeping up by now. Let's see! Good luck everyone testing this month 🤞

I'm 4DPO and my goodness it's dragging! I'm thinking I will test around 9DPO too. I don't think having a cold should impact TTC? If the egg was fertilised and it's viable, surely it'll just carry on as normal and implant? I have no idea though 😂

@Moomoo20 Proceive is good I think, has brilliant reviews and had the best levels of all the vitamins etc needed for conception and pregnancy and I have become pregnant second cycle taking it whereas my first took 10 months with no supplements. I've just ordered the pregnancy ones too. It is expensive but my son was a preemie so ill do whatever I can to remain as healthy as possible for this pregnancy (I don't know why my son came early- potentially short cervix but nothing medically confirmed).

Yes I wish I had started proceive from the get go as I heard it takes a few months to build up in your system. Definitely worth the money if they are good quality. I've been taking coq10 for a month now and I've noticed my nails looks amazing haha so that's something

I have been considering taking proceive actually how did you find it? Its just so expensive so at the moment I'm taking a multivitamin/flic acid and COQ10 which I heard helps with fertility.

Moomoo20 · 18/07/2024 10:43

HRHXO · 18/07/2024 10:27

@Moomoo20 you're stronger than me, I'd definitely have caved! Although I totally get waiting and think it's such a good idea. Aww yeah I'm with you, don't want to be disappointed on your birthday. Wishing you the mothering nurturing cancer season leads to a positive result (I'm so into astrology lol)

Aw thank you thats so sweet 🤩. I hope you start to feel better soon. Amazing that you got a positive so early as well!

HRHXO · 18/07/2024 10:31

@Lou0811 ahh I see, when I was TTC my first I came off the pill in April and my cycles were crazy after 15 years of being on it (and I was 30 almost 31 at the time). I took Concieve Plus with my first and this time I used Proceive (but kept forgetting to take them) and have gotten pregnant on second cycle although I don't really count the first as we only DTD once and my son got chicken pox so we were all a bit unwell!

Lou0811 · 18/07/2024 10:28

HRHXO · 18/07/2024 10:25

@Lou0811 thank you so much! I tested 8dpo am as I had a cold (possibly covid) but read getting poorly can happen if you're pregnancy for a number of vague reasons lol but that morning it was negative. Felt compelled to test again in the evening and I saw a faint line and even my partner saw it. At 9dpo I had a pretty clear positive on a FRER and felt even more crap with sore boobs and cramps. Today is 10dpo and got my CB digital positive and I feel quite nauseas today.

When I was TTC my first my cycles went crazy and I would have super long cycles but no AF and no BFP. I think the stress caused my hormones to go out of whack and I started taking Concieve Plus Ovulation support and then fell pregnant with my son 6 weeks later! Do you take any supplements? Are your cycles always irregular?

Ah that’s brilliant, fantastic news!!!

thanks for that also - I came off depo last May, I’ve had terribly irregular cycles since! First AF was October, then nothing until Jan/Feb, then since, very random and odd cycles still!

perhaps I should consider taking some supplements! Would be my 3rd pregnancy x
