Implantation?

I'm currently CD29 and I've been cramping the past couple of days, no sign of AF yet but I do have irregular cycles. Occasionally over the last couple of days I have had a pink tinge when I have been to the toilet and wiped, I'm wondering if it could be implantation? I also have sore boobs which is not usually a period symptom for me.

Have done a couple of pregnancy tests the last few days (cheap Sainsbury's ones) but they've been neg. I've got some easy@home strips coming

Glad you haven't had to put up with a long journey so far @mangobe!
When ttc my 1st it took 2 years and medical intervention, and I drove myself absolutely batshit testing relentlessly, and there's a risk of picking up a chemical pregnancy which can be upsetting too - I'd always say if you have to POAS (let's face it, we all do), do it with "normal" tests so at least you don't crush your own hopes thinking you're out because the early test didn't show up positive. And less likely to pick up a chemical too.

I should also say, I have no idea how many DPO I am because I only started testing after I guess I must've already ovulated and they were all negative

Hi @0rangem0nster! Today I've been much less crampy, no discharge really at all and earlier on I did another test and thought I saw a vvvvvvfl but couldn't be sure I wasn't going mad 😂 I'll just keep testing until I get a BFP or until AF arrives. It's just the not knowing that winds me up 😂 it's only really our first cycle TTC #2 so not massively stressed

Hi @mangobe I used to have super long cycles too and also can't remember what it was like with DD1.
Implantation usually occurs 8-10dpo. I've had some weird stuff like you today at around 9-12dpo (no clue really) but caved, took an early test and got BFN. A friend of mine who got implantation bleeding said it was a pink streak when she wiped one trip to the loo, and that was literally it.

Sorry, I should clarify my cycles are normally 40 days 😅 and I haven't noticed this type of spotting/bleeding/whatever in cycles previously. I have a 21 month old already and we are TTC but I cannot remember what it was like first time round 😂 and I found out pretty late because of my long cycles

Pink tinge could also be the early release the of an irregular period.

Implantation typically occurs a lot earlier in the cycle.
