Hello ladies, just wondering if anyone is planning on trying SMEP this month? Or anyone had success? Going into month 5 TTC and nearly 36 so willing to try anything.

I'm just starting ttc but missed ovulation this cycle while we were making up our minds. I'm trying this next month though! Good luck everyone

I'm using the clearblue digital ovulation sticks and starting to feel like the flashing smiley face is laughing at me. Today is fourth day of flashing smile in a row. I've used the tests before to track my cycle before ttc (long story, but I couldn't ttc for a while as had a molar pregnancy) and I've never had four days of flashing smiles before. Literally peeing on money as started testing twice a day.

If I'm not pregnant this cycle, then think I will try a cheaper brand next, least I can see how dark the line is then rather than that constant bloody smile 😅.

I'm TTC, but I have no idea what SMEP is!?

I am trying SMEP this month too, today is cycle day 10 and I already feel a bit tired 😅. Also turning 36 soon and feel like there is a flipping clock going off in my head 🙃.

This is cycle 2 of ttc our first baby after a miscarriage last year.

I am using the clearblue digital ovulation tests and am guessing that the positive result for following the SMEP is when you get a static smiley face rather than a flashing one, but not really sure.

Hi @pinkrose001 I think I’m going to use OPK then I can follow SMEP that way according to my ovulation date. I know it’s only been 4 months but turning 36 next month I’m feeling anxious. Would love to give our five year old a sibling. My cycles range from 29-32 Days so ovulation date varies each month. Generally I test from day ten with opk, not sure how long your cycles can be but wishing you all the luck

Hey @fullofhope2024 I have been reading up on SMEP too but not sure how it would work if cycles are longer than the 28 days which mine are but willing to give anything a go lol xx
