2 LH surges in one cycle?

Hey girls 👋🏼 I am so confused! Maybe someone has had something similar happen.... To cut a long story short I usually have around 28/29 day cycles and ovulate on or around CD14.... ✨ I was quite poorly last week, had flu symptoms and have been diagnosed with Strep A and now on a course of penicillin (But thank god I feel better) 🙏🏼 I got what I thought was my PEAK on CD11 last week, I'll attach a photo... this was when I was poorly 😷 it seemed quite early for me 🤔 But I've woken up this morning CD18 and have had a stronger PEAK 🤔 Did my body not ovulate whilst I was ill and now is? Haven't a clue what's going on 😭🤣 Just seems so late for me now 😢

We found out we are having another little boy, feel very grateful! Although the comments of ‘oh will you try again for a girl’ is starting to annoy me! I’m about 23 weeks now and been feeling ok luckily.

Hey lovely 👋🏼 It's me, sorry I had a name change as my account went a bit funny 🫠 unfortunately not good news my end... After 10 months of trying we got our BFP last month, but it ended in early miscarriage last week when I started bleeding heavily 😭 Our hearts are broken 💔 The only plus to such a cr*p outcome is that we've now been referred to the reoccurring miscarriage clinic, but this is the NHS.... so who knows how long the wait list is etc... 😮‍💨

How's everything your end? I feel like I've forgotten our past convo's it's been so long.... how many weeks are you now? Did you find out the gender? I so hope all is good your end 🙏🏼✨🩷

I'm doing okish, plodding along! Unfortunately nothing to report my end 😢 Same cr*p different month! Been struggling lately with a lot of babies/announcements around me at the moment and the 22nd of this month marked a year since we got our first positive test with the first loss 😭 but trying to stay positive!

We tried the home insemination kit this month... Now that was an experience in itself 😭 alongside the kit came these soft discs you slip up there to hold everything in for a while.... I had mine in for less than an hour and had a breakdown as I couldn't 'find it' up there 🫣😂 It took forever to get out.... NEVER AGAIN! 😮‍💨🥴 Currently 2/3dpo now.... so we shall see! Hubby's birthday next week, so would be sooooo lovely to be able to give him a positive test as part of his pressie 🎁

How's things your end, have you been up to much this bank holiday ☀️🩷

All good here, on and off nausea but nothing crazy! We told my mum and MIL yesterday which was super exciting! It’s getting a bit more real now, but still counting down till those 12 weeks….

We are all good here! 6 weeks + 2 and I had my first early scan yesterday and managed to see the little flicking heart beat 🥹🥹. Really helped with my anxiety knowing it’s in there, in the right place and growing as it should. They did put me between 5 + 1 and 6 + 1, but I know it’s so hard to accurately tell at that stage.

Awww that's amazing! So glad you had that early scan and feel more reassured, and to see a heartbeat at that stage is so good 🥰 How are you feeling in yourself?

When we eventually fall pregnant again, they are making me have a 6 week scan to check baby is in the right place etc... So that'll definitely help with my anxiety when the time comes too! 💫

All good this end, plodding on! I'm actually in the middle of ovulation at the moment... My first peak came yesterday evening, and it seems it's even stronger today! So I believe I'll ovulate at any point now 🙏🏼 I'm using up the last of my easy@home strips this cycle ☺️ We've kind of just gone with the flow this month, I've been trying not to stress! (But still managing to stress) 😂

We also decided to have a last minute holiday abroad.... With the sh*t we've been through this year and the fact we should have had a 3 month old baby or been 7 months 🤰🏻 we just thought stuff it!! Booked it last Monday, we fly in less than two weeks ✈️ Which is typical that I'd be due on 🩸 but hoping that doesn't happen and we get our BFP 😮‍💨🙏🏼💫

Peak happened on cycle day 16.... which means I should ovulate today/tomorrow 🙏🏼 Weird it's a little later this month, but maybe it's a good sign 🤔 who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@SunshineAndRainbows6 thank you for the response! I hope that's the case for me. The peaks were only two days apart so I'll either be 8DPO or 10DPO. I've been testing for a couple of days and completely negative so I hope it's because I'm only 8DPO and it's too early 🤞🤞🤞 we will see!! I don't really get any ovulation symptoms aside from a tiny bit of ewcm but it obviously that's not super helpful when the two peaks were so close together! I'm driving myself mad testing to be honest 😂 I've got covid at the moment so I'm just lying in bed without much else to think about!

Bless you, even with our son who's 5 now, but was 4 last year it was hard work abroad... I don't think your ever fully relaxed 😮‍💨😂 He's still the same now, unless he's glued to his iPad he's always wanting to get up etc.... no chill time especially when eating 🫠🤣

Yes keep me posted, the clear blues are good for that side of things! Once I saw the 3+, I stopped testing on any tests after that 🙏🏼 I'm sure you'll get your 3+ over the weekend 😘

I've never had two peaks before and I'm not sure what's going on! I really want to know when I could possibly expect a bfp.

Hey lovely 👋🏼 How frustrating! Bless you, hopefully you'll get your BFP soon ✨ I 100% ovulated on my second PEAK 🙏🏼 Have you had any symptoms alongside either PEAK? How long are you cycles usually?

Have you tried a pregnancy test, as I've heard sometimes an LH strip can be positive if your pregnant 🤔

I know it's easier said than done, but remember what I said the midwife told me 👏🏻 Your pregnant 😘 Lines differ for everyone and at the end of the day, there's nothing you can do either way, so try to take each day as it comes 🙏🏼 You've got this! 🥰

I'm not too bad this end, plodding on! I'm on CD5 now, so should be saying goodbye to AF today 😮‍💨🥴 Onwards and upwards.... I'm grabbing my sisters apple watch off of her today, so going to use that this cycle, plus pre seed as normal because we have some left and maybe every other day again with DTD 🤔

Little man's finishing for the summer holiday next week, we've got a busy couple of weekends coming up and then at the start of next month during my 2WW we've got a Haven holiday with friends and their kids! So I'm hoping that will help pass the time and we can wait to test till we are home 🙏🏼

Trying to think of things to distract me as it seems to be me who struggles more with everything! I think it's different for the men 🫠🤣

How much longer have you got left of your holibobs? ☀️ I bet it's lovely and hot there 🙏🏼

I know I shouldn't be adding to your testing habits 😉 But have you tried the clear blue weeks indicator ones yet? They are the only ones I did use for the first part, made me feel a bit more chilled as to get to the certain 'weeks' you need different levels of HCG.... so for reference the 1-2 is 10mIU .... the 2-3 is 153mIU and the 3+ is 2753mIU.... ✨

@TTC1990 Yep! Please try not to stress too much! I don't think I'll ever go off line progression again as I had the darkest ones imaginable when I had my miscarriage last year, so take them with a pinch of salt 🤏 You are pregnant Mama and that's all you've got to keep reminding yourself 🤰🏻☺️ Your body will do the rest 💪🏼

I've already told my sister I'll be nicking her Apple Watch haha! 😝 I know I use the OPK's to see when my LH peaks, but it will be nice to be able to confirm I am actually ovulating with the BBT 🙏🏼 Contemplating buying the cup just for the hell of it... we've got nothing to loose 🤭😂

Yes I remember having the vivid dreams, so weird lol 😴

@TTC1990 Bless you! I can imagine how you're feeling!!! But STEP AWAY from the tests 😉 even though I wouldn't either!

You're looking for the good old 48 hours progression if you carry on... So there technically should be some progression every couple of days.... But I know it varies with everyone, as we all make different levels of HCG ✨ Try not to let progression phase you too much! I know my midwife used to say 'if there's a line, then your pregnant' 🤰🏻

So I actually have some news…my BFP arrived last night!! I thought oh I’m 9dpo I’ll just do one whilst I’m bathing my son. I was absolutely not expecting to see a line 😬😬! I quickly rushed to Tesco to get CB early and there it was in words 🥹. I hope this post isn’t triggering for you, but instead provides some hope that even after 7 months of trying and with low sperm count, it can work!!

Regarding BBT I use my Apple Watch! It’s such an easy way (if you have one) to track it, as I don’t need to do anything apart from wear it!

The only thing we did differently this month was use the fertilily cup. No idea if it was that that did it, but that can worth a try too?

Had a good cry on the phone to my mum this morning 😭🤣 (She's like my bestie) Going to call my GP to make an appointment and have a talk about my medication I'm on for my RA and also regarding my recent bloods as they weren't the best 😔 It's nearly a year since we started trying again and lost our first one so it seems to have hit extra hard!

Ooooh ok, I may look into it! I haven't got an Apple Watch but I know my sister does and she doesn't use it anymore, so I'm going to nab it to try 🙏🏼 Will also look into the cup as it was on the list! I'm willing to try anything 😭😂

Honestly so so happy for you though! Please keep me posted on how things are going etc... I bet that was a very interesting bath time 🤣🙌🏻💕

9 dpo for us both! Nothing to report my end as of yet 😮‍💨 Still early days! But when your testing with these super sensitive tests they have on the market nowadays it's hard to not get discouraged when you don't get a BFP early 🤭🫠🤣

Not too much symptom wise my end either, just the usual PMS ones... any your end? ✨

Go girl with the BD'ing 😜 We've done it for the last 4 days in a row 😮‍💨 knackered 😴😂 I think I ovulated yesterday as had cramps and boobs are super sore 🍈🍈

So onto 1DPO today 😑😂 Here's to facing the dreaded 2WW together 💪🏼 Let's hope we get our positives at the end of it 👏🏻
