Hi - we’re keeping it private that we’re trying for a baby so I can’t ask anyone else I’m only 10DPO was trying to resist testing but too impatient - do you think there’s a faint line here or have I got line eyes? I’m guessing I still need to wait til this weekend before my period comes to know for sure?

Update - I’m 5 weeks today did my first clear blue digital and it’s showing 3+ weeks. Got a midwife appt 9th July I’ll be 9.5 weeks so glad I requested one straight away! Private scan booked for 5th July at my 9 week mark fingers crossed all continues to go well

Oh this gives me hope! Can you see anything on this or am I mental - 9dpo today - I feel like I see something with flash on but not off 🙈

I think I'm seeing something faint without flash but a little clearer with. Is this FMU?

Absolutely no denying that! Congrats! Definitely good progression ☺️ completely feel you on the early scan part, 12 weeks sounds way too far away doesn't it lol

Thank you! ☺️ Yes and I have symptoms at the moment but nothing major and they come and go so sort of doesn’t feel real! The only thing that has come and not gone is the bloat I’ve been so bloated for the past 5 days

Just to update I’m 17DPO today just did a test think this is a good progression since my first one a week ago! I think I’m 4 weeks 4 days but Flo says 4 weeks 5? I’ve made a self referral to the midwife just waiting to hear back with an appointment, tempted to book an early private scan at 8/9 week mark

It seems it can vary. Apparently I 'HAD to inform my GP' with #1 but with #2 I was able to self refer. There's no harm in speaking to them, but you can also check online like mentioned above 🙂

TheShellBeach · 01/06/2024 14:48

Roxttc · 31/05/2024 23:08

Yes it is, that’s good to know thank you!

You can probably self-refer to the midwife.
Go online and find out.

There is no need to see your GP at all.

Is this your first? Going from experience, I'd say inform your GP as soon as. I had to wait weeks for my booking appt with my first x

Thanks everyone ☺️ Really feeling the bloat and trapped wind/gassy so far plus cramps no other symptoms yet. Not going to test til Sunday/Monday now no idea what to do next though might wait til the 6 week mark before making NHS appt?

No. The first one (on 28th May) is not a positive pregnancy test.

Today's one looks like it is! Grin

Congratulations!

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 31/05/2024 19:52

A faint positive is still a positive. My very very faint line - fainter than yours - that needed the maximum time for the test to develop turned into a bouncing 8 1/2 pounder.

Thank you that’s positive to hear! I’m a bit of a worrier but trying to just be relaxed and see what happens, my husband isn’t sure think he needs to see the words “Pregnant” on a digital one lol so will buy one to use this weekend. When I line all the tests up I can see they’re getting darker so thats good

I can definitely see something! How many dpo are you?

Thanks☺️ I think I’m 12DPO today possibly 11 - I think the tests are getting slightly darker just don’t feel any excitement yet as worried they’re not getting dark enough but I know it’s still early days! These are from this morning
