Right, so I can't start this thread using anything like..."Here we go ladies!"

So, will have to come up with something completely different....

How about Congratulations Kay!

cals sorry that evil witch is being mean and painful hope that it goes soon
bbw sorry that you have a long cycle
my last cycle was 55 days it is so frustrating

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 19:13

hm 56 days and counting.... really cursing the fact that i threw away last years calendar

calsworld · 13/04/2008 19:11

Oooh MoosMa, poor DD! That sounds scary . Good news about the tyres and about the cream tea!

AF is really becoming a pain now, it feels like my endometriosis is coming back too as its very painful, in a familiar way.

Well, it seems that my once regular as clockwork 28 day cycles are actually now mostly 31 days, apart from last months colassal 41 day cycle!

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 18:37

evening all

yes moosma im going a bit mad but dont feel it right to go docs just yet IYSWIM? im trying not to stress about it tho

glad you've all had nice sundays, ive been out all day x

MoosMa · 13/04/2008 16:56

Yes thanks GJ, he actually made it home at 11.30 last night I don't know how, he must've been towed by a jet or something! And the owner of the car he'd borrowed has agreed to pay for most of the cost of the 2 new tyres

We've had a lovely day today, we've been into town and had lunch at brewsters then back into town, then out to the hills for a cream tea

It was all good until DD1 got her hand caught in the lift doors in Debenhams. She had her hand on the door and as it slid back it gobbled her hand up, DH grabbed the door but couldn't stop it so just pulled her hand out, ripping some of the skin off the palm of her hand and one finger. She cried a lot but it wasn't too bad - no blood, just a bit squished!

She's all better now though, she's very proud of her 2 plasters on her hand, she even asked to ring Granny to tell her all about it

I think we'll be more careful next time we go in a lift though

calsworld · 13/04/2008 16:26

Diege - DH did brill! Yep, start of new month, but goodness only knows how we're going to pg if all the GOFing we did came to nothing!!

Think I might just try to forget about it for a while, I'm becoming obsessed and think that's probably not helping.

GJ, dp's just don't get it, do they! on one hand and not surprised at all on the other!

DH is cooking roast beef for dinner - smells fab!

OP posts:
Diege · 13/04/2008 15:51

GJ, sounds a good idea about getting verything into the open with dh - though about his comments about your pregnant friend - they don't just 'get it' sometimes do they, the fools!!
Cals, boo to af, though it's the start of a new month! I'm going to try and get my smear moved to this week rather than end of the month - not that it makes a massive difference, but should ensure I get the (hopefully good) news back in time for full-on May ttc!
Hi to everyone else . Dh completed marathon in 4 hours 20 mins, so fairly pleased and we're all looking forward to seeing him later tonight!

calsworld · 13/04/2008 15:05

Hi guys, think today is CD1, but she's a bit off-colour, so to speak.

Sure she'll sort herself out, she normally does!

Hope you're all having nice Sundays

Hmm, from a non-expert eye, could be dayb 17, but what accounts for the dips and rises after that time? As you can tell I'm pretty clueless . What's the spec on the temping thread?

tinkerbellbringingsexyback · 13/04/2008 11:40

any thoughts on my chart
www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1f3edd

did i ovulate cd17

Diege · 13/04/2008 11:33

Dis, those Predictor tests are total rubbish (IMO) - I've never got a postive wioth them, even when getting dark lines with other brands. Others on MN have had similar experiences.
Seems it really will be a case of waiting it out for you sadly, though there are many of us who have had similar results and ended getting bfps a week or so after af was due .
TINKS, pardon my ignorance - basic question - when you are pregnant does your temp stay high? Is that the basic rule? May well get into it when I start ttc, though I am notoriously bad at forgetting to do things everyday (like my poor abandoned bank-breaking Zita West vits )

tinkerbellbringingsexyback · 13/04/2008 10:02

i would say a line is a line as all other tests came up with one
can you get a blood test @ drs
i am on cd23 temperature up again today
here is my chart

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1f3edd

think i ovulated cd17

Disenchanted · 13/04/2008 09:44

Morning gals.

I did a couple of cheap tests form £1 shop and a very,v,v,v,v faint line came up,

so yesterday I did a 'predictor test' and it was negative

Am on CD31 today, AF came cd27 last time.

Have woken up today feeling very sick which could be PG but am SERIOSLY doubtful now and think AF is just late

Also the sickness could be a migrane starting which happens every months before AF. So she might show up soon.

ALso feel really dizzy today which Ive never had before.

Hope you are all well.

Anyone mear testing yet?

kayzisexpecting · 13/04/2008 08:16

Morning all,

Sorry MoosMa. I hate the red ones. Everyone has red ones where I live and I refuse to be the same as everyone else!!

I might watch the Marathan today as its funny watching the people in their funny outfits.

Morning sickness appears to have gone now. But knowing my luck I'll get it when we're in London.

Have a good day everyone.

Diege · 13/04/2008 06:48

Morning!!! Come on you lot, out of your beds on this bright sunny morning ! .Better night with dds last night, and a 6.15 wake up call this morning, so quite pleased .
Will be looking out for dh in the Marathan with dds this monring, then mum and are coming over for the afternoon. Lecture planned, and all ready to write .
MOos, I'm about 25 miles from Manchester, in Warrington, so no doubt your dh would have been passing close by if he was heading South!
Anyone else hate The Hoobes?

MoosMa · 12/04/2008 23:25

Diege, don't you live in/near Manchester? If you'd looked out your window you'd have seen DH drive by (wih big binoculars that can see round corners to the M6)!

calsworld · 12/04/2008 22:37

DS is only 16 months but Totally Addicted!!!

Tink - I have now clue how temping works but I thought a peak in temp was OV - which would have been your day 14 wouldn't it?

I can't make head or tail of FF - I've created a spreadsheet instead as I'm far more familiar with those!

Anyway, DH nagging that its bed time and he's probably right. Goodnight all...

any comments on my temping chart ladies
do you think i ovulated day 17?
thanks

calsworld · 12/04/2008 22:05

Hey tbbsb, upsy daisy pants sound cool! We bought DS a little soft iggle piggle, now when he's had his tea and he comes into the lounge to watch ITNG before bed, he goes and picks him up and sits him on his lap to watch it together! Very cute!

Hey Diege, x posted! Love the lightness of the Pop, and the fact that when you fold it up it clips on both sides so holds together really well - loads of the other ones kind of sagged IYKWIM?

Lecture sounds tricky - rather you than me!!
