Right, so I can't start this thread using anything like..."Here we go ladies!"

So, will have to come up with something completely different....

How about Congratulations Kay!

I heart my dishawasher...

I don't mind washing up in other people's houses but I hate doing my own. If I cam e to yours, I would happily wash up your dishes whilst you make a cuppa (without asking...I do it all the time, luckily most people don't take offence ) but I will leave mine to the last gasp...

kayzisexpecting · 05/04/2008 10:09

Yes Nat PMSL.

I want a dishwasher but we have no room

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 10:05

Washing up? What's that? Ohhhhhhh, is that the thing that the dishwasher does?

kayzisexpecting · 05/04/2008 10:04

I dont mind washing up but I hate drying. So I dont mind being stuck with the washing up.

YouCantTeuchThis · 05/04/2008 10:03

Oh Moosma...sounds like your GOF-ing was a bit dangerous

calsworld · 05/04/2008 10:02

I used to cook really well, but since being pg when I couldn't even face being in the kitchen, nevermind opening the door to the fridge, DH took over the cooking - I've never really been as good since.

I like to cook but I am not that good at it I can carry off a few dishes alright, but my 'experimenting' often wrecks a perfectly good meal.

All our days are busy at the moment (though I still find time for MN ) Lots of washing and housework to do, work stuff to catch up on, blah blah...

I'm on CD9 and not an OPK to be had!!! I did google a due date calculator though and if successful this month, would be due on DS's birthday.......

Cosmogirl · 05/04/2008 10:00

Morning all, my DH is an AMAZING chef which means I don't get to cook at all . I get stuck with the washing up - rubbish! I might see if he will let me cook one night out of seven - don't think it will go down well, but when I become a Mummy I need this skills surely?!

Hope everyone has lovely weekends. We have quite a busy one. NJ - hope it goes OK with bump going public.

We are getting through our list at speed! Tis very exciting!

MoosMa · 05/04/2008 09:55

Morning everybody, another non eventful weekend in the Moos household, DH is working flat out and I'm stuck indoors with 2 DDs! We did have a dippy GOf last night though so at least we're both in a good mood today

Good news though, I had a little bit of EWCM yesterday. It didn't seem much but seeing as I've never noticed it before, even when TTC I'm quite pleased And it's only day 24(!). Ah well, it just means I have more safe GOFing time and less AF time before we go live!

Oh, and I can cook, not always brilliantly but it's good enough to keep us alive!

Have a nice weekend everybody!

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 09:12

I saw that yesterday, if you google Chadwick's sign, there is more, nothing really in depth, although, there is not much more than 'if you get pregnant your fanjo may turn blue' you can say I suppose!!

calsworld · 05/04/2008 09:04

Finally found something about blue fanjos!

"being away two weekENDS in a row"

OP posts:
calsworld · 05/04/2008 08:44

Morning all, having more dizzy spells again today, not just when getting up, moving my head quickly is making it spin too. This happened at a similar stage in my cycle last month - is it a symptom of anything or just coincidence and I have another ear infection - without any pain?

Me and BF are off to Nott'm in a bit to go bra shopping and I'm hoping to pick up a swimming costume too as DH, DS and I are going to the water park at alton towers, I've not been before but it sounds good, here, I'm really looking forward to it.

This afternoon DH and I are going to get DS shoes checked as its been about 6 weeks now, and I need some new work shoes too.

Tomorrow its going to be an at home day trying to get some semblance of order in my house which is v v untidy and beginning to look very student like, and it needs a rudy good clean too. Working full time AND being away two weeks in a row is certainly taking its toll!

LOL, I do try to help him cook. I do have to cook when dh is on lates but its normally very easy stuff like spag bol or curry but from jars.

Playingthewaitinggame · 05/04/2008 08:38

Right I am off, need to wake DH up, get shower and get in the garden.

Talk to you on Monday, bye

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 08:37

I can do the actual cooking part, but I am not good at the prep, I can't peel a potato with out cutting most of the potato away, I can't put carrots into neat little batons, although I can prepare a lovely salad.

The cooking part, as long as I can follow some times, I am fine, I'm not good at just looking and knowing if something is done, or if it needs more of x, or if it has too much y etc.

DH used to do all the cooking up until very recently, but now he is coming home later, I am tending to do the boys tea and DH does ours when the boys go to bed. Not a great set up, I like us to all have dinner together, but can't keep the boys up late just so we can have dinner together, and DH can't help being home late so it is the only option.

Playingthewaitinggame · 05/04/2008 08:37

I think he's actually only half joking ...

Playingthewaitinggame · 05/04/2008 08:36

Ah yes, thats the downside. It has taken me years to realise that my DH has actually picked up how to cook from me, not everything mind you but quite a bit, and he is actually not that bad at cooking if you encourage him. I am having to try and let him cook once a week to give him practise but the cheeky begger does tell people "one of the reasons I married Playing is becuase she can cook"

kayzisexpecting · 05/04/2008 08:30

Dh is very good at cooking so I dont really need to cook. Which really means I don't get much practice.

Playingthewaitinggame · 05/04/2008 08:23

Kay- cooking is something I really enjoy and am good at. I'm not the tidiest or cleanest wife but I can cook! Curry's arent hard - just lots of ingredients really and marinating time.

Sorry about your BFN Natalie, the saga of your ever expanding belly continues then!

Today I am gonna do a bit of gardening and then I am off to Worthing to have lunch with a friend. Gonna stay in tonight I think. Sunday, off to the farmers market get a nice piece of meat and do a big roast, got a couple of friends coming round.

Hi Teuch

kayzisexpecting · 05/04/2008 08:21

Im sure you can think of something Nat. Anyway you might get Morning Sickness with this one.

Was going to go to York today but the weather is horrible so probably doing nothing. I want to go to Flamingo Land and look at the animals but its so expensive.

Morning all Nice thread

What's everyone got planned for the weekend then?

We have a birthday party this afternoon, with DH's family (yes the MIL is going to be there) Not really sure what to say about the bump, I have wriggled out of seeing everyone the past couple of weeks, but I don't want to miss this party (it's a first birthday).

BFN still this morning, but I am getting waves of nausea, don't know if it is just a bug, or the stress, or something else, I don't get morning sickness so I know if I am actually sick it isn't that!

I spose I'd better get some brekkie done. See you all in a bit

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 05/04/2008 08:14

Wait!!!!! No stats!!!!

I'll be right back.........
