Right, so I can't start this thread using anything like..."Here we go ladies!"

So, will have to come up with something completely different....

How about Congratulations Kay!

Nooooo don't mix the colours that is worse than mixing up the play doh colours.... can't tell you how long I have spent un-mixing play-doh! LOL

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 11:57

Do you remember when you used to buy sherbert by the quarter. And you could mix the colours as well.....

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 11:57

LOL at dipping

No Moosma, I'll give it a little while to go down, if it is still as big when period goes then I might go then. If it was a build up of hormones then I'd have thought the period would clear me out IYSWIM?

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 11:56

Help your self, just save me all the galaxy please

LL, we are missing April out as a January birthday would be a nightmare for us. But then a little voice says "but we could just start preparing for xmas earlier, leaving December wages for January" Will see if I can work my magic on DH, don't hold your breath though!

And the GP said bleeding and pain, no pain, so no worries

Diege, I could have eaten the walnut whip without the walnut, I don't really do nuts, maybe a little of some, but not a whole nut.

Teuch, awww for you friend, it is so nice to hear it after they have been trying for so long! And a fairly novel way of announcing it as well!!

I am hoping belly will go back to normal with the period, no movement on it yet, but it isn't just going to dissapear is it?!!

I have a box of wine in the garage, am thinking of moving one in for tonight, maybe two actually

Diege · 05/04/2008 11:54

Oooh, a sherbert dibdab, that takes me back...and lenonade dippers, remember them, with the cherry lolly?
Oh and before we know it the thread is back to good old dipping again!

YouCantTeuchThis · 05/04/2008 11:51

I'll have a twix! Haven't had a twix in ages!!!

And a can of diet coke please

MoosMa · 05/04/2008 11:50

Sorry about AF Nat, but like Teuch says, enjoy your wine and at least you don't have to worry about people second guessing you! Are you still going to see the doctor again to get to the bottom of the belly thing? Might be a good idea after having a mc and a strange cycle?

And I'll have a sherbert dib dab please

YouCantTeuchThis · 05/04/2008 11:47

aaahhhh, one of my best friends just sent an 'announcement' email with a scan picture

I know they've been trying for ages, it is just so nice!!!!

YouCantTeuchThis · 05/04/2008 11:45

mmmmm...I don't buy nestle so I miss out on loads of delicious things . My 'virtuousness' just doesn't tingle the tastebuds like a kitkat can...

YouCantTeuchThis · 05/04/2008 11:44

Jesus NJ - how is the belly? I'm disappointed for you but I am glad that you don't have another weekend of worry...plus you can swig back a glass of wine at party and complain of period cramps and not worry about the family pre-empting any announcements!

It might actually give you a little more time before you have to tell the world next month when you are pregnant since the bump won't be unusual IYKWIM??!!

Plenty chocolate though at the shops...but save the wine until later!

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 11:43

That could have damaged you for life diege. They should be paying you damages for the psychiatric bills you may need in the future..

I eat mine from the bottom up first the base then all the fluffy filling and save the walnut till last.....

Diege · 05/04/2008 11:36

LL, I rang Nestle up about my last walnut whip because it was missing its walnut, so disgusted and disappointed was I...they are sending me vouchers but it doesn't touch how I felt...and I always have the future anxiety that everytime I open one now it could happen again..

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 11:28

ummmmmm walnut whip i havent had one of those for ages......

Diege · 05/04/2008 11:22

Go for it Nat . I'll have a packet of revels and a walnut whip please if you've not gone yet

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 11:15

No, I am OK, honestly, I am just relieved to know one way or the other, would have been great if it was the other way, but like I say relief is the main thing!

I might try and win DH round, but I doubt he will, besides I think it would do me good to just have a brek from thinking about this month after all of this!

Oh well, I am going round the shop for chocolate, anyone want anything? (Might get a bottle of wine in as well, do you think I could sink it before the party, and no one will know?!!!! )

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 11:15

NJ why are you missing a month out?? I am so sorry for you, didn't the dr say you need to get checked out if you start bleeding??

Diege · 05/04/2008 11:10

Oh bloody hell Nat, can you believe that?? You're right, there's something about ttc that makes your cycle go crazy. You must feel crap .
Am thinking myself that I might miss the next cycle out (April)simply due to workload and the sickness I'll no doubt get again. I could manage being sick June onwards, but to be ill during May would be disastorous. Anyway, enough of me, lots of hugs and masses of sympathies.

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 11:08

Well, it is blood, not discharge, and red, but not a normal period for me, no pains, and it isn't gushing out, but yes, it is a proper period.

Hopefully my belly will go down with it.

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 11:06

NJ so sorry........... Are you sure it is AF

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 11:03

yes we are unprotected....

Dp has called a few companies that he does work for now. They are going to call him back next week. He is well know in his trade in this area and has a good reputation so I know he will get another job. Any company would be lucky to have him..

I work a 6 day week but only 28 hours but I am sure that if I asked they would up my hours to full time even if for a short period. I would hate to leave dd but at the same time if needs must then I would have no problem doing it (will probably cry the whole time but hay ho)? I really made light of it last night so that if it does come to this dp will not feel bad.

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 11:01

Well it is all over, CD1 for me. And now have to wait till May, farking hell.

Don't you just love how you can just get thrown a 33 day cycle out of nowhere?!

No, me neither...!

Diege · 05/04/2008 10:52

Hi LL, sounds like you're being a great support to dh - is there anything is the pipeline re job opps? Of course as you say going full-time for you isn an option. I was full-time until last September when I dropped to 4 days a week (more like they squeezed my 5 days into 4 and paid me 20% less ). Remind me, was last night's GOF 'unprotected?' (I've a terrible memory about everyone's contraception!)

lardylumps · 05/04/2008 10:39

morning all, CD11 for me and gof last night...

Didn't bring up ttc last night, and dp didn't either.. He is really down, but we had a really good chat and a bottle. I made sure that he knew that I loved him and that we will be ok regardless (either he gets another job or I go full time) and that I am happy to do it (even though I am not I would happily do it iyswim).

When I left this morning he was down again but hopefully he will be ok! As far as ttc i am taking one day at a time and not going to bring it up unless he does.

I love cooking and have to say I am quiet good at it. I dont have a dishwasher but very dry hands...

Diege · 05/04/2008 10:37

Morning! dh gave me a lie-in this monring, and now I feel all groggy with too much sleep . Sorry for those us you doing the early shift!
I'm sort of mixed with cooking. dh does most of ours, though I do enjoy following a recipe and get reasonable results. I really love baking, cakes, scones etc, but again time is the thing that stops me! Oh and I also LOVE my dishwasher, though HATE having to unload/reload it. V. lazy I know!
The plan today is to visit Chester. It's my wedding anniversary on Monday (7 years) and dh wants to buy me something, so can't complain . I tend to think it would be easier if I just went on my own though, as Chester and 3 dds, AND dh will be murder round the shops!! Moan, moan...
Very bad cramps today, so fully expecting af. Still looking forward to my e-bay delivery though .

NatalieJane · 05/04/2008 10:14

Jeez, I'd chuck the telly out if it meant I could have a dishwasher!

Infact the dryer is in the garage so we could get the dishwasher in the kitchen.
