Right, so I can't start this thread using anything like..."Here we go ladies!"

So, will have to come up with something completely different....

How about Congratulations Kay!

Hello,

Doc was fine, made a MW appointment for next Wednesday at 2.

Now at Mum's as she asked me for dinner. I bought her 2 bunches of flowers, 1 from ds and 1 from the new baby!!

LOL, poor you LL.

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 18:02

I know can you believe snow in April...... It is brilliant sunshine here at the moment but was snowing an hour ago. Crazy weather or what.

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:59

I didn't even wait for the MN seal of approval half a glass of wine and lemonade is sunk already, can you tell it is the school holidays? Do wonder how it's going be with 3 here, esp. in the 6 weeks hols

Poor things, there isn't much we can do though, especially with the weather so crap.

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 17:53

Thanks Teuch.. I am going to lock for some of that gargley tomorrow (at a different chemist than the one i went to today). And some natural yoghurt.

It is never to early for wine Nat, enjoy your evening. I cant even kiss my dd just incase i do have it....

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:31

Oh wow, worth the thrush then !!

Love the scheduled sex acts LOL

Well after my very rude giggle, I am going to sod off and do tea, is it too early for wine? Just a little bit with lemonade?

YouCantTeuchThis · 07/04/2008 17:28

LL, sorry but hee hee!! Ahem...I have heard grapeseed oil is meant tohelp but I have no idea what you do with it. A natural yoghurt, swished around your mouth as you eat, may help re-balance the good/bad bacteria. I think you can get an antifungal gargley thing which is used by pregnant women so should be ok for ttc...Nistyn or something, Nystatin?!

I am, by the way, hugely imperssed by your marathon sex record...

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 17:26

The shame of it all.....

It wasn't even his scheduled one, (he had already had that)?. It will teach me for trying to cheer him up about his job.... never again.....

Oh on the plus side he is happy to carry on TTC, we went through all the options and he agreed that we should carry on..

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:23

So does the thrush get you out of doing these ahem.... favours for a while I am thinking how I can get thrush in my mouth to get me out of the next one at the end of the month!!

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 17:18

Thanks MoosaMa and Nat. I have called the GP and the earliest he can see me is Wednesday.

DP is using cream so doesn't need to see GP.

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:17

Here it is, some good advice on there, not for thrush, just the EWCM!

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:16

Sorry but PMSL

I am sure you won't need to tell him exactly how you got it.... He will probably already know...!! LOL

Sorry, of course he won't, you could have got it through all sorts of things.

I'd get it sorted sooner rather than later though, if nothing else it will start to make you feel down and crappy soon enough, just like any infection would.

Oh forgot to say, doinking till CD18 should cover it.

I found a thread earlier that I earmarked, all about EWCM, thought it might come in usefull for some of us on here. Will go find it....

MoosMa · 07/04/2008 17:14

Oh dear poor you LL, DH got his treat then?

Babies sometimes get it in their mouths and I think you get gel for it. Be sure to send DH for some cream too, but not adjacent appointments or the doc'll be ing at you both!

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 17:11

No not at all, I am only concerned as he has it otherwise I wouldn't be bothered by it.

Chemist says that as I am TTC I need to go to GP as I can not take the tablets available over the counter.

I think I might die of shame [shame] still it might be just a sore throat if not I am not mentioning where I might have got it from... [cry]

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:06

LOL I love all the caring and sharing on here

Where else would you get such a detailed conversation about thrush?!!

I'd ring the chemist.

Is it really bad?

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 17:04

Good idea nat.... I am not sure if that is what I have but dp has called me today to tell me that he has it on his bits and i have woken up with a sore throat (well I dont have to spell it out do I)

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 17:01

Ermmmmm, I have no idea, I know things like yoghurt can help with thrush in erm.... other places, not sure about about the ahem, mouth

Am quite pleased to boast I don't ever seem to get thrush, anywhere...!

Why don't you ring a chemist, they should be able to tell you, and you don't have to tell them your name or anything...

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 16:58

ummmmmmmm What is the best way (with out drugs if possible)that a person (not me of cause) can get rid of............... Thrush in the mouth.....

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 16:53

Hello both

Diege, test.

LL, ask.

lardylumps · 07/04/2008 16:52

Hello everyone just look at my doinking record this month...

CD1 - CD 5 Af was staying over
CD6 doinked
CD 7 slept
CD 8 doinked
CD 9 doinked
CD10 doinked
CD11 doinked
CD 12 doinked
CD13 doinked

And today is CD14

Going to try and doink everyday now until CD18, do you think that is enough (cycle is 28 days long) as I am knackered.

How committed am I this month.

Have a rather embarrassing question to ask you all though and it really is TMI!!!!!! Is it ok to ask and will you all still respect me afterwards?

Diege · 07/04/2008 16:48

Hello! First chance I've had to get on here all day - bloomin' work, doesn't half get in the way of life Just wanted to lend L&G some reassurance on the colposcopy. Colposcopy is my middle name - I've had several beacuse of dodgy smears (up to CIN 3), and also large loop/cone biopsies, so ask away if there's anything at all you want to know!
Good luck at the Dr's Kals! I know exactly what you mean about what to say etc..makes fools out of grown women this pregnancy lark!
af still not here, though horrendous pains, so deffo on its way. And I was sort of liking having a 22 day cycle too!

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 16:11

Good luck

kayzisexpecting · 07/04/2008 16:08

I wasn't married when ds was concieved!! we did only find out the day before we got married though. As we were told by the GP it was impossible to get pg straight away after being on the pill we never expected it to happen.

Right I am off. Knowing my doctors I'll get seen at around half 5 not half 4 when my appointment is.

Be back soonish.

NatalieJane · 07/04/2008 16:06

Oh I am glad it isn't just me.

It is stupid really, because half of me thinks why the hell do I give a shit what they think, I know we're married, and that it was before I got pregnant, and that the kids were both planned and much wanted, etc. but I still feel the need to point it out at every opportunity!

LOL are we crackers?

kayzisexpecting · 07/04/2008 16:02

Nat, I have to do that too!

We went to dh Granma's funeral and there were a couple of really religious people and I couldn't wear my wedding ring due to fingers swelling up. It was on a necklace round my neck. After 2 hours of snide comments and dh being very upset about his granma he snapped and pointed out my wedding ring and said "we are married you interfering busybodies" and he stormed out.

kayzisexpecting · 07/04/2008 15:58

PMSL thats funny Moosma!!

My SIL sat there when we told her and MIL that "accidents happen" and that I yes me should have taken precautions. Apparently ds cant have been planned.

Now she is my best friend(yeah right) and wants to see ds all the time. Like when MIL took ds to Leeds to visit her and came home 5 hours late.
