Hi, I have an app to read the ovulation strips but it's saying it low. I'm expected to ovulate today or tomorrow. It looks really dark to me.
I'll attach a photo

@emmatcc1 also when should the line start getting darker, yesterday seemed like decent progression and this morning not so much? It's lighter

Or should I stop testing for a couple days?

@emmatcc1 aww I definitely want some, and they're so intelligent and loving.
Oh I'm waiting for them around 5 and a half weeks. That's usually when it kicks in... I am not one of the luckier ones, or I could be wrong this time. Was a long time ago I was last pregnant 😊

@Bambin0 when we got her she was already pregnant. Rats are literally like little dogs.
I think main symptoms come around 6-7 weeks or you might be one of the lucky ones who don’t get all the bad symptoms.

Bambin0 · 12/08/2024 22:59

@emmatcc1 oh you're at the very start of the tww... You can do it's, it's hard but absolutely amazing you have little baby rats to keep you busy. So you got her and she was pregnant and you didn't know or she got pregnant the time you bought her, I have no idea how long rats are pregnant. Ive always wanted a pet rat 🐀

Yeah I'm gonna really wait wait for a digital test. I reckon I'll just track line prog. with cheapies.

Absolutely nothing which is hilarious, I feel the healthiest I've ever felt. (For now) I am a lot more sleepy lately tho but I don't sleep great anyway

@Bambin0 2dpo now and I’m not thinking too much about it. We have pet rats and we bought another one last month and she ended up being pregnant. Thankfully only 3 babies. They’re keeping me busy in this two week wait.
Better to wait until you take a digital as I’ve heard these can take a while to show positive. And don’t open it up because it’s just confusing.
Are you having any symptoms?

Bambin0 · 12/08/2024 20:05

@emmatcc1 they are honestly unbelievable. It's sad and literally Just too expensive to go private.

Even some gynos I've been to have been absolutely clueless.

How are you feeling today?
Haha get using them all at once lol I've seen so many good reviews but I understand it's all very overwhelming remembering it all.

Honestly I'm waiting to test on a digital or a frer. I took another strip and it's very much there, I just didnt ever think I'd see a line.

@Bambin0 I completely missed it. I hare doctors, I went through so much trouble with my doctor because she didn’t believe I had trouble breathing since my 02 sats were normal and my lungs sounded completely fine. Finally got referred to a pulmonologist who confirmed my asthma was very bad. I also have too high liver enzymes and she hasn’t found a cause to that but this has been dropped now because she believes it’s fine and not dangerous.
I have similar to preseed it’s called conceive plus but I used it once and now completely forgot about it. I also said I was gonna use my menstrual disc as an alternative to the fertilily cup as it also sits by the cervix but I also completely forgot I have it.
I took 5 tests in my pregnancy even a digital and each time I believed the previous one was a false positive and I’m gonna get a negative. Even at the first scan I was still in denial I was pregnant until I saw the little bean on the ultrasound screen.

Bambin0 · 12/08/2024 14:11

@emmatcc1 I sent you a wee reply message before that also :)

I won't believe it till I see the digital say it lol thank you 😊

You’re definitely pregnant

Bambin0 · 12/08/2024 13:53

I took another. Ignore the worktop, I'm stripping and redoing the bathroom (that's hair dye lol)

@emmatcc1 Emma the older I'm getting, the more I'm realising doctors lack knowledge in women's bodies and the hormone cycles etc, fertility. The things I have been told are ridiculous.

I read a lot on different things and see girls experiences on tiktok and they are all like yourself. Healthy and nothing out of the ordinary. Also seen people use that preseed, that helps with girls that don't make much CM to help hold the sperm in there etc. Have you seen many remedies or girls TTC on tiktok, I find it very helpful x

@Bambin0 I think we just have bad luck. We haven’t had any testing done as I think I’m not ready for all that yet but I don’t think there’s anything wrong really sorry tmi my partners sperm looks fine in terms of consistency, color and quantity. His sex drive is fine, I have very regular periods no excessive bleeding or strong cramps. While I was doing bbt my temps went up high after ovulation so I’m guessing my progesterone is okay. The time we did conceive we were literally both sick with a fever and barely dtd so I don’t even know how that happened. The only concerning thing is my lack of fertile cervical mucus. My doctor is kinda careless and didn’t bother explaining anything about my miscarriage so I don’t think I’ll bother going to her.

How are you feeling physically and mentally? Any unusual symptoms? I can’t imagine how hard this must be.

Bambin0 · 12/08/2024 09:18

@emmatcc1 Aww love, I totally understand, all of it. It's a lot on you and a lot of strain on a relationship 😔

What have your doctor's said? Dare I ask that because I know how uncaring and useless some can be.

Yes he did and the whole dynamic has changed for me. There will be no more trying and it breaks my heart but it's clearly the right thing, just in shock.

Haven't taken a fmu one yet. X

@WildWhirlwind The pregnancy announcements around me are non stop. Everyone just seems to get pregnant so easily. I’m hoping for some healthy pregnancies soon for all of us.

@Bambin0 No way he did that. It looks like he might not be ready for a child and needs a long talk. This is a scary and life changing decision. Hope you’re okay.
I can see a faint line on there, try fmu maybe?

I’ve been struggling a bit a well. Ttc is really taking a tool on me and my relationship. I’ve just been moody and emotional all the time so we only dtd once in this fertile window. We’re coming up to 2 years of ttc and I really want to take a break but just don’t feel like I can put this on hold for a bit. I think I might be fine with having only one child as I’m not sure I can do this again.

Bambin0 · 11/08/2024 22:35

@emmatcc1 To be brutally honest, he walked out. We've spoken since, he's struggling mentally. We don't argue at all but had explained he's also overwhelmed. But yeah it's made me rethink a few things.

I've tested tonight because I had some light pinkish when I wiped (10dpo) and idk if you can see but there's a faint line. Happy, nervous, emotional.?

Cramps so AF could still show but she's a few days away (if my cycles are back to 27-28cds) I'll attach the picture

@WildWhirlwind thank you so much love 💕 I might as well be open with you girls cause I have not a single soul to confide in.

@emmatcc1 I'll never not trust my female intuition again. Sounds like it was strong for you too... Or however you wish to view it. It's so, so disheartening when you hear of so many people getting pregnant the cycle or two after a miscarriage and it doesn't happen for you. I'm constantly wishing anonymous people on Mumsnet would get pregnant so I extend that to you! I can't imagine how you're feeling after all this time.

I'm hoping I ovulate over the next few days as I think my cycle is regulating.

@Bambin0 keeping everything crossed for you! Sending you patience and wishes. We'll be here in the comments if you need to discuss anything. 🙌🏼

emmatcc1 · 11/08/2024 14:51

@Bambin0 I ovulated yesterday or today I think. Weirdly no ovulation pains this month. I haven’t been tracking anything for quite some time now but I know when I’m ovulating because of high sex drive.
Has your partner gone on a work trip or something else? If you test or not it’s not gonna change the outcome and you’re not far from when af is due right?

Bambin0 · 10/08/2024 14:14

Hi girls 👋🏼
Sorry it's been a bit of a crazy few weeks.
I am 9dpo.
My partner has left and I'm scared to test in case this is the month, it will be okay but I don't know what to think. I've ordered some cheapies but I may wait to see if AF turns up. Idk if I'm brave enough to look at a test feeling how I am

Hope you are all okay, sending love as always 💕

@WildWhirlwind I also had a feeling something wasn’t right. I had strong symptoms as well, I was nauseous until the day I started bleeding which was at 9+4. I think mine stopped developing around 5-6 weeks and I found out at the 8 week scan. I choose to let it pass on its own and I miscarried at 10+2. On cycle 7 now and I’m completely drained from this ttc journey. It took us 14 months for the mmc and I was really hoping it’s gonna be faster now but I guess not.

WildWhirlwind · 07/08/2024 12:29

Okay, hopefully mine will regulate spon. I was six weeks but found out at the 12 week scan. Had such strong symptoms throughout first trimester but just 'felt' that something was up.

I've read lots of women just feel something is up.

emmatcc1 · 06/08/2024 19:56

@WildWhirlwind I was bleeding for three weeks and then ovulated two days after bleeding stopped. I think I took a test when my period was due and it was negative. I think it took 2-3 periods to regulate. How far along were you?

WildWhirlwind · 06/08/2024 18:10

Just read you also had a MMC in February. I'm so sorry. Mine was also then.

Did it take a while to get a negative pregnancy test?

WildWhirlwind · 06/08/2024 10:46

Hi @emmatcc1. It was about four cycles until we conceived. We're now about four months out since I had a negative pregnancy test after the MMC. My cycles used to be like clockwork, very normal. Since, they've been all over the place. A month where I bled for a couple of weeks, two months of light periods, short luteal phases. It was twins so I don't know if that has made a difference. Maybe I'm reading things wrong but lots seem to have a month or two of strange periods after a MC then it goes back to normal. I'm still waiting...

I'm going to use Hertility to see if there's a hormone out of range and work on getting my lifestyle back to how it was pre-MMC.
